The inhibition effects and mechanisms of chlorinated methane and acetylene on methanogenesis in the anaerobic digestion process of the biodegradable wastes were *** was found that both chloroform and acetylene could effectively inhibit methanogens while the biodegradability of the wastes was not *** inhibited the activity of methanogens,while chloroform inhibited metabolic process of methanogenesis.A central composite design（CCD） and response surface regression analysis（RSREG） were employed to determine the optimum conditions and interaction effects of chloroform and acetylene in terms of inhibition effciency,production of volatile fatty acids（VAF） and molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic *** had significant effect on enhancing the production of VFA（F = 121.3;p 〈 0.01）,and acetylene promoted the inhibition effciency（F = 99.15;p 〈 0.05） more effectively than chloroform（F = 9.72;p 〉 0.05）.In addition,a maximum molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic acid of 1.208 was estimated under the optimum conditions of chloroform concentration of 9.05 mg/kg and acetylene concentration of 3.6×10^-3（V/V）.Hence,methanogens in the wastes can be inhibited while the stabilization process of the biodegradable wastes can still work well,as propionic acid generated during the inhibition process could hardly be utilized by methanogens.

In this article, two methods adopting simplified minimum mean square error （MMSE） filter with soft parallel interference cancellation （SPIC） are discussed for turbo receivers in bit interleaved coded modulation （BICM） multiple-input multiple-output （MIMO） systems. The proposed methods are utilized in the non-first iterative process of turbo receiver to suppress residual interference and noise. By modeling the components of residual interference after SPIC plus the noise as uncorrelated Gaussian random variables, the matrix inverse for weighting vector of conventional MMSE becomes unnecessary. Thus the complexity can be greatly reduced with only slight performance deterioration. By introducing optimal ordering to SPIC, performance gap between simplified MMSE and conventional MMSE further narrows. Monte Carlo simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithms can achieve almost the same performance as the conventional MMSE SPIC in various MIMO configurations, but with much lower computational complexity.

EPB TBMs(Earth pressure balance Tunneling Boring Machines) are extensively used in tunneling constructions because of its high efficiency and low disturbance on structures above ground. It is critically significant to predict the thrust acting on TBMs under different geological conditions for both the design of power system and the control of tunneling process. The interaction between the cutterhead and the ground is the core of excavation, through which geological conditions determine the thrust re-quirement combined with operating status and structural characteristics. This paper conducted a mechanical decoupling analysis to obtain a basic expression of the cutterhead-ground interactive stress. Then more engineering factors(such as cutterhead topological structure, underground overburden, thrusts on other parts, etc.) were further considered to establish a predicting model for the total thrust acting on a machine during tunneling. Combined with three subway projects under different geological conditions in China, the model was verified and used to analyze how geological, operating and structural parameters influence the acting thrust.

The wettability between TiN ceramic substrates and steels with various Ti contents was studied under an argon atmosphere at 1550℃ using a modified sessile drop *** electron probe microanalyzer and thermodynamic calculations were applied to investigate the interface between the steels and the TiN substrates as well as the surface of solidified steel *** measured apparent contact angles between the TiN substrates and steels were 96°,91°,and 146°,as the Ti content in the steel samples was 0.01,0.31,and 0.68 wt.%,*** reaction products were found at the interface,and only physical interactions *** wettability between high titanium steels(0.68 wt.%Ti)and TiN ceramic substrates should be evaluated from various perspectives,as many TiN particles existing in steel made the apparent contact angle increased significantly,deviating from the true value of contact angle.

Improvement Effect of Bioaugmentation with Phenol Degrading Bacteria on Lurgi Coal Gasification Wastewater Treatment

The improvement effect of bioaugmentation with phenol degrading bacteria( PDB) on pollutants removal and chemicals consumption was investigated in a full-scale Lurgi coal gasification wastewater( LCGW)treatment plant. Bioaugmentation with PDB applied in biological contact oxidation tank( BCOT) was carried out in summer to prevent the limitation of low temperature on the bacteria activity. After augmentation,the removal of COD and total phenol(TPh) was significantly enhanced,with efficiencies from 78.5% and 80% to 82.3% and 86.6% in BCOT,respectively. The improvement could also be detected in further processes,including anoxic-oxic,coagulation sedimentation and biological aerated filter,with COD and TPh removal efficiencies increment from 70.1%,24. 7% and 53. 4% to 73. 9%,29. 1% and 55. 9%,from 67. 1%,20% and 25% to 72.5%,25% and 32%, respectively. In addition, chemicals used for denitrification and coagulation sedimentation showed considerable reduction after bioaugmentation,with methanol,coagulant,coagulant aid and bleaching dosage from 100. 0,100. 0,80. 0 and 60. 0 mg/L to 85. 0,70. 6,57. 8 and 45.7 mg/L,respectively. Therefore,bioaugmentation with PDB can be a viable alternative for LCGW treatment plant in pollutants removal and chemicals saving.

In order to push forvcard the development of CFRP cable-stayed bridge and accumulate experiences, the study on the application of the first cable-stayed bridge with CFRP cables in China was carried out. The design essentials of main components of the bridge were introduced and its integral performances, including static properties, dynamic properties and seismic response were analyzed using finite element method. A new bond-type anchorage was developed and the processes of fabricating and installing CFRP cables were elaborated. Based on the results of construction simulation, a tension scheme for bridge was propound. During constructing, the stresses and displacement of girder and pylon, as well as the forces and stresses of cables, were tested. The results indicate that all sections of the bridge could meet the requirements of the ultimate bearing capacity and normal service; the performance of the anchorage is good and the stresses in each cable system are similar; the tested values accord well with the calculated values. Further, creep deforma- tion of the resin in anchorages under service load is not obvious. All these results demonstrate that the first application of CFRP cables in the cable-stayed bridge in China is successful.

CO_(2)electrochemical reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to formate is a hopeful pathway for reducing CO_(2)and producing high-value chemicals,which needs highly selective catalysts with ultra-broad potential windows to meet the industrial ***,the nanorod-like bimetallic ln_(2)O_(3)/Bi_(2)O_(3)catalysts were successfully synthesized by pyrolysis of bimetallic InBi-MOF *** abundant oxygen vacancies generated from the lattice mismatch of Bi_(2)O_(3)and ln_(2)O_(3)reduced the activation energy of CO_(2)to*CO_(2)·^(-)and improved the selectivity of*CO_(2)·^(-)to formate ***,the carbon skeleton derived from the pyrolysis of organic framework of InBi-MOF provided a conductive network to accelerate the electrons *** catalyst exhibited an ultra-broad applied potential window of 1200 mV(from-0.4 to-1.6 V vs RHE),relativistic high Faradaic efficiency of formate(99.92%)and satisfactory stability after 30 *** in situ FT-IR experiment and DFT calculation verified that the abundant oxygen vacancies on the surface of catalysts can easily absorb CO_(2)molecules,and oxygen vacancy path is dominant *** work provides a convenient method to construct high-performance bimetallic catalysts for the industrial application of CO_(2)RR.
