Scattering experiments become increasingly popular in modern scientific research,including the areas of materials,biology,chemistry,physics,***,various types of scattering facilities have been developed recently,such as labbased x-ray scattering equipment,national synchrotron facilities and large neutron *** above-mentioned trends bring up fast-increasing data amounts of scattering data,as well as different scattering types(x-ray,neutron,laser and even microwaves).To help researchers process and analyze scattering data more efficiently,we developed a general and model-free scattering data analysis software based on matrix operation,which has the unique advantage of high throughput scattering data processing,analysis and *** maximize generality and efficiency,data processing is performed based on a three-dimensional matrix,where scattering curves are saved as matrices or vectors,rather than the traditional definition of paired *** can not only realize image batch processing,background subtraction and correction,but also analyze data according to scattering theory and model,such as radius of gyration,fractal dimension and other physical *** the aspect of visualization,the software allows the modify the color maps of two-dimensional scattering images and the gradual color variation of one-dimensional curves to suit efficient data *** all,this new software can work as a stand-alone platform for researchers to process,analyze and visualize scattering data from different research facilities without considering different file types or *** codes in this manuscript are open-sourced and can be easily implemented in matrix-based software,such as MATLAB,Python and Igor.

X-ray microscopy is an essential imaging method in many scientific fields,which can be extended to three-dimensional(3D)using ***,metal halide perovskite(MHP)nanomaterials have become a promising candidate for X-ray scintillators,due to their high light yield,high spatial resolution,and easy *** requires many projections and therefore scintillators with excellent *** is challenging for MHPs,which often suffer from fast degradation under X-ray irradiation and ambient ***,we demonstrate that MHP scintillators of CsPbBr3 nanowires(diameter:60 nm,length:5–9μm)grown in anodized aluminum oxide(CsPbBr3 NW/AAO)have sufficient stability for X-ray micro-tomography.A tomogram was taken with a Cu X-ray source over 41 h(dose 4.2 Gyair).During this period the scintillator brightness fluctuated less than 5%,which enabled a successful reconstruction.A long-term study with 2 weeks of continuous X-ray exposure(37.5 Gyair)showed less than 14%fluctuations in brightness and no long-term degradation,despite variations in the ambient relative humidity from 7.4%RH to 34.2%*** resolution was stable at(180±20)lp·mm−1,i.e.,about 2.8 *** demonstrates that CsPbBr3 NW/AAO scintillators are promising candidates for high resolution X-ray imaging detectors.

Neutron-induced gamma-ray imaging is a spectroscopic technique that uses characteristic gamma rays to infer the elemental distribution of an ***,this technique requires the use of large facilities to supply a high neutron flux and a time-consuming detection procedure involving direct collimating *** this study,a new method based on low neutron flux was proposed.A single-pixel gamma-ray detector combined with random pattern gamma-ray masks was used to measure the characteristic gamma rays emitted from the *** of the elemental distribution in the sample,comprising 30×30 pixels,were reconstructed using the maximum-likelihood expectation-maximization *** results demonstrate that the elemental imaging of the sample can be accurately determined using this *** proposed approach,which eliminates the need for high neutron flux and scanning measurements,can be used for in-field imaging applications.

The VUV-UV spectroscopic properties of Ce3＋ in Ba2Mg（BO3）2,Ba2Ca（BO3）2 and Sr2Mg（BO3）2 were compared,and the relation between the energy of the 4f→5d transition of Ce3＋ and the coordination environments of substituted alkaline earth ions was *** chromaticity coordinates of Ce3＋ activated X2Z（BO3）2（X=Ba,Sr;Z=Ca,Mg） phosphors were changeable from blue to whitish and further to green range by varying the doping concentration of Ce3＋ or the types of substituted alkaline earth ions upon 172 nm excitation.

The control system of Hefei Light Source II(HLS-Ⅱ) is a distributed system based on the experimental physics and industrial control system(EPICS). It is necessary to maintain the central configuration files for the existing archiving system. When the process variables in the control system are added, removed, or updated, the configuration files must be manually modified to maintain consistency with the control system. This paper presents a new method for data archiving, which realizes the automatic configuration of the archiving parameters. The system uses microservice architecture to integrate the EPICS Archiver Appliance and Rec Sync. In this way, the system can collect all the archived meta-configuration from the distributed input/output controllers and enter them into the EPICS Archiver Appliance automatically. Furthermore, we also developed a web-based GUI to provide automatic visualization of real-time and historical data. At present,this system is under commissioning at HLS-Ⅱ. The results indicate that the new archiving system is reliable and convenient to operate. The operation mode without maintenance is valuable for large-scale scientific facilities.

The fabrication of bit-patterned media （BPM） is crucial for new types of hard disk drives. The development of methods for the production of BPM is progressing rapidly. Conventional lithography reaches the limit regarding lateral resolution, and new routes are needed. In this study, we mainly focus on the dependence of the size and shape of magnetic nanodots on the Ar＋-ion etching duration, using silica dots as masks. Two-dimensional （2D） arrays of magnetic nanostructures are created using silica-filled diblock-copolymer micelles as templates. After the self-assembly of the micelles into 2D hexagonal arrays, the polymer shell is removed, and the SiO2 cores are utilized to transform the morphology into a （Co/Pt）2-multilayer via ion etching under normal incidence. The number of preparation steps is kept as low as possible to simplify the formation of the nanostructure arrays. High-resolution in situ grazing-incidence small-angle X-ray scattering （GISAXS） investigations are performed during the Ar＋-ion etching to monitor and control the fabrication process. The in situ investigation provides information on how the etching conditions can be improved for further ex situ experiments. The GISAXS patterns are compared with simulations. We observe that the dots change in shape from cylindrical to conical during the etching process. The magnetic behavior is studied by utilizing the magneto-optic Kerr effect. The Co/Pt dots exhibit different magnetic behaviors depending on their size, interparticle distance, and etching time. They show ferromagnetism with an easy axis of magnetization perpendicular to the film. A systematic dependence of the coercivitv on the dot size is observed.

In solar cells,hybrid halide perovskites operate under constant bias,thus their stability towards electric field-induced degradation is of key *** we report on evidence of previously unidentified electric field-induced transitions and degradation path of CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)(MAPbI_(3))using elemental and phase *** films of MAPbI_(3) were deposited onto 1-2μm-pitch interdigitated electrodes and subjected to direct current(DC)-*** MAPbI_(3) layer polarized with<0.8 V/μm DC electric field undergoes pronounced ion redistribution to methylammonium-rich MAPbI_(3)-y(y<0.6)and iodine-rich MA1-xPbI3(x<0.3)***-induced loss of both methylammonium and iodine provokes degradation of MAPbI_(3).Using nanofocus grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering(GIWAXS),we unambiguously showed that the bias voltage induces the transformation ofβ-MAPbI_(3) to metastableδ-MAPbI_(3) polymorph via alignment of polar organic cation with the electric *** transformation is partially reversible upon field ***,once formed,δ-MAPbI_(3) disrupts the morphology of pristine film and undergoes decomposition toβ-MAPbI_(3)(β-MAPI)and PbI_(2).With the aforementioned compositional and phase changes,only MA-rich part serves as the charge separation layer,while the I-rich excitation is blocked with the PbI_(2) barrier serving as holes trapping *** observations reveal the intermediate steps in electric-field-driven degradation of halide perovskites and show the role of polar cations in the process,which is instructive for further material design with higher stability metrics.
