Cabbage is today an economically important crop grown in more than 90 countries around the world. Production is constantly threatened by pests including the cabbage webworm, Hellula undalis (F.) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) which just one or two larvae can cause severe damage by infesting the growing points or shoots of young plants. Hellula undalis is difficult to control by the use of chemical insecticides. The establishment of effective biological control is needed. The parasitoid species Pristomerus pallidus (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Cremastinae) was recorded for the first time in Senegal on larvae of Hellula undalis from cabbage fields infested with H. undalis. Laboratory observed parasitism was 7.4%. This is the first record of Pristomerus pallidus parasitizing Hellula undalis from Senegal. Furthermore, studies on the potential regulation of Hellula undalis under controlled and field conditions need to be evaluated for utilizing this parasitoid as a biocontrol agent against the cabbage webworm. .

Emerging adulthood(EA)is a critical stage of life to develop and sustain a healthy lifestyle,which is also a time of vulnerability to poor physical and mental health *** this study,we conducted a path analysis(N=1326)to examine associations among four dimensions of EA,levels of regular physical activity(PA),self-control,MPA tendency and irrational *** found:1)higher levels of PA predicted both MPA tendency(β=−0.08,95%CI:−0.11 to−0.06,p<0.001)and irrational procrastination(β=−0.01,95%CI:−0.17 to−0.008,p<0.01)indirectly via self-control;2)Instability(β=0.13,95%CI:0.08 to 0.18,p<0.01)and Responsibility(β=−0.06,95%CI:−0.10 to−0.08,p=0.03)exerted direct effects on irrational procrastination and Instability also indirectly predicted irrational procrastination via MPA tendency(β=0.03,95%CI:0.02 to 0.05,p<0.01).These findings proved that perceived features of EA are linked to behavioral problems and supported that regular PA plays a crucial role to protect mental health.

We propose a new approach to the investigation of deterministic self-similar networks by using contractive iterated multifunction systems (briefly IMSs). Our paper focuses on the generalized version of two graph models introduced by Barabási, Ravasz and Vicsek ([1] [2]). We generalize the graph models using stars and cliques: both algorithm construct graph sequences such that the next iteration is always based on n replicas of the current iteration, where n is the size of the initial graph structure, being a star or a clique. We analyze these self-similar graph sequences using IMSs in function of the size of the initial star and clique, respectively. Our research uses the Cantor set for the description of the fixed set of these IMSs, which we interpret as the limit object of the analyzed self-similar networks.

Background:The uptake of arsenic by vegetables from soil irrigated with arsenic enriched groundwater poses a major health *** edible portion of these vegetables transfer arsenic to the human *** uptake of arsenic was studied in bean(Phaseolus vulgaris L.)and lettuce(Lactuca sativa L.)in a controlled greenhouse pot culture with calcareous sandy soil as *** plants were irrigated with water containing sodium arsenate at concentrations 0.1,0.25 and 0.5 mg L^(-1).The total arsenic concentration of the different plants parts was determined by ICP-MS,following microwave-assisted acid *** change in plant biomass production and essential macroelements(Mg,P,K)and microelements concentration(Fe,Mn,Cu,Zn)was also ***:The As concentration in the bean was in the order:root>stem>leaf>bean fruit and in lettuce:root>*** the highest dose(0.5 mg L^(-1))the As concentration in the bean fruit and lettuce leaves was 22.1μg kg^(-1)and 1207.5μg kg^(-1)DW,*** As concentration in the irrigation water resulted in decreased edible biomass production in bean,while in lettuce the edible biomass production *** plant exhibited any visible toxicity *** significant change was observed in the macro and microelements *** total and the water-soluble arsenic in soil amounted to 3.5 mg kg^(−1)and 0.023 mg kg^(−1),*** transfer factor was found to increase with increase in the As treatment *** transfer factor range for bean from root to fruit was 0.003–0.005,and for lettuce from root to leaves was 0.14–***:Considering the FAO-WHO recommended maximum tolerable daily intake(MTDI)limit of 2.1μg kg^(-1)body weight,and the biomass production,both plants should not be cultivated at As treatment level higher than 0.1 mg L^(-1).

＜正＞China and East Central Europe have undergone remarkable economic changes during the last *** paper deals with the dynamics,spatial patterns and regularities of regional disparities in these two *** a brief overview of the economic historical background,the connection between economic development and spatial disparities is analysed, and the validity of Williamson’s inverted U-curve hypothesis is tested. The second part of the article focuses on the spatial patterns of *** the description and geographical localization of the ?winners"and ?losers"of the economic reforms, the emphasis is on the research of spatial regularities,such as the East-West divide, centre-periphery dichotomy and neighbourhood effect,which is analysed with the useage of autocorrelation ***,this part deals not only with the change,but also with the long-term stability of the spatial structure,detecting the permanently developed and underdeveloped regions,the reasons behind their situation,and the possible way to dynamize them in the long-term through spatial planning. The third part of the article focuses on the problem of geographical scales in the research of *** dynamics of inequalities at different levels are analysed and compared to each other,both between and within countries（in the case of East Central Europe） or provinces（in the case of China）. In the final section a short overview is given about the so far experienced and the possible future spatial results of the global crisis and the new phase of growth after it,based on the relating news and on the regularities described in the article.

The slippery slope framework explains tax compliance along two main dimensions,trust in authorities and power of authorities,which influence taxpayers’compliance *** frequentist and Bayesian analyses,we investigated the framework’s assumptions on a sample of 2786 self-employed taxpayers from eleven post-communist and non-post-communist countries doing business in five economic *** using scenarios that experimentally manipulated trust and power,our results confirmed the framework’s assumptions regarding the attitudes of the self-employed taxpayers;trust and power fostered intended tax compliance and diminished tax evasion,trust boosted voluntary tax compliance,whereas power increased enforced tax ***,self-employed taxpayers from post-communist countries reported higher intended tax compliance and lower tax evasion than those from non-post-communist *** results offer tax authorities insights into how trust and power may contribute to obtaining and maintaining high tax compliance levels amid global economic challenges,downturns,and increasing tax compliance costs.
