Electric power grids are evolving into complex cyber-physical power systems(CPPSs)that integrate advanced information and communication technologies(ICTs)but face increasing cyberspace threats and *** study considers CPPS cyberspace security under distributed denial of service(DDoS)attacks and proposes a nonzero-sum game-theoretical model with incomplete information for appropriate allocation of defense resources based on the availability of limited *** time delay is applied to quantify the expected utility as CPPSs have high time requirements and incur massive damage DDoS *** resource allocation strategies are adopted by attackers and defenders under the three cases of attack-free,failed attack,and successful attack,which lead to a corresponding consumption of resources.A multidimensional node value analysis is designed to introduce physical and cybersecurity *** experiments and numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model for the appropriate allocation of defense resources in CPPSs under limited resource availability.

For islanded microgrids(MGs),distributed control is regarded as a preferred alternative to centralized control for the frequency restoration of ***,distributed control with successive communication restricts the efficiency and resilience of the control *** address this issue,this paper proposes a distributed event-triggered control strategy for the frequency secondary control in islanded *** proposed event-triggered control is Zeno behavior free and enables each DG to update and propagate its state to neighboring DGs only when a specific“event”occurs,which significantly reduces the communication *** with the existing event-triggered control,a trigger condition checking period of the proposed event-triggered control is provided to reduce the computation burden when checking the trigger ***,using the aperiodicity and intermittent properties of the communication,a simple detection principle is proposed to detect and isolate the compromised communication links in a timely and economic fashion,which improves the resilience of the system against FDI ***,the control effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is validated by the simulation results of the tests on an MG with 4 DGs.

SwiftTheft: A Time-Efficient Model Extraction Attack Framework Against Cloud-Based Deep Neural Networks

With the rise of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, machine-learning-as-a-service platforms,such as Google, Amazon, and IBM, have emerged to provide sophisticated tasks for cloud applications. These proprietary models are vulnerable to model extraction attacks due to their commercial value. In this paper, we propose a time-efficient model extraction attack framework called Swift Theft that aims to steal the functionality of cloud-based deep neural network models. We distinguish Swift Theft from the existing works with a novel distribution estimation algorithm and reference model settings, finding the most informative query samples without querying the victim model. The selected query samples can be applied to various cloud models with a one-time selection. We evaluate our proposed method through extensive experiments on three victim models and six datasets, with up to 16 models for each dataset. Compared to the existing attacks, Swift Theft increases agreement(i.e., similarity) by 8% while consuming 98% less selecting time.

This paper proposes an electromagnetic coil topology and its control strategy,which can be incorporated into the electromagnetic docking device to achieve relative pose control in satellite *** target satellite has a main coil;the chaser satellite possesses a main coil of the same size accompanied by six and four evenly arranged secondary coils inside and outside the main coil,*** coil on the target satellite is DC energized,while the currents in the coils of the chaser satellite are *** remove the coupling between the pitch/yaw torque and translational force,the internal and external secondary coils of the chaser satellite interact with the main coil of the target satellite to perform the control of relative pitch/yaw and relative translation,respectively,so relative pose control can be *** torque and force vectors exerted by the secondary coils of the chaser satellite are synthesized onto the pitch and yaw axes of the body *** to their spatial composition relationship,the formulas are proposed,which obtain the magnetic moment vectors of the coils from the set torques and *** controllers regulating pitch/yaw,translation,and distance utilize a three-loop cascaded structure that consists of an outer position loop,a middle velocity loop and an inner current *** control strategy is verified by dynamics simulation.
