Simulation Study of the Control Strategy of a DC Inverter Heat Pump Using a DC Distribution Network

Photovoltaics,energy storage,direct current and flexibility(PEDF)are important pillars of achievement on the path to manufacturing nearly zero energy buildings(NZEBs).HVAC systems,which are an important part of public buildings,play a key role in adapting to PDEF *** research studied the basic principles and operational control strategies of a DC inverter heat pump using a DC distribution network with the aim of contributing to the development and application of small DC distribution *** with the characteristics of a DC distribution network and different operating conditions,a DC inverter heat pump has the ability to adapt to changes in the DC bus voltage and adds flexibility to the *** models of the DC inverter heat pump integrated with an ice storage unit were *** control strategies of the DC inverter heat pump system considered the influence of both room temperature and varied bus voltage.A simulation study was conducted using MATLAB&Simulink software with simulation results validated by experimental *** results showed that:(1)The bus fluctuation under the rated working voltage had little effect on the operation of the unit;(2)When the bus voltage was fluctuating from 80%-90%or 105%-107%,the heat pump could still operate normally by reducing the frequency;(3)When the bus voltage was less than 80%or more than 107%,the unit needed to be shut down for the sake of equipment safety,so that the energy storage device could adjust to the sharp decrease or rise of voltage.

With the rapid development of the national interconnected power grid,fast automatic excitation regulators and fast turbine governors are being widely *** the current systems,some power plants adjust their responses for turbine governor systems to a very sensitive level to meet the primary frequency regulation assessment index,which actively brings about negative *** these circumstances,the ultralow frequency oscillation(ULFO)phenomenon emerged in hydrodominant power *** order to solve the problem of ULFO,the hydro-turbine governor additional damper(GAD)based on phase compensation,which adapts to ULFO,is *** design of the control system is relatively *** a phase compensation based on the field testing and modeling of the turbine governor,GAD can provide the power system with positive damping,which contributes to the stability and security of the *** to the impact of the mechanism of the turbine governor on the dynamic stability of the power system and the research of modeling and parametric testing,the proposed method not only supports positive damping,but also eliminates the negative damping of the speed governing system,which can significantly suppress the ultralow frequency oscillation and make it feasible to configure the GAD parameters according to field testing.

General image classification method based on semi-supervised generative adversarial networks

Generative adversarial networks(GANs) have become a competitive method among computer vision tasks. There have been many studies devoted to utilizing generative network to do generative tasks, such as images synthesis. In this paper, a semi-supervised learning scheme is incorporated with generative adversarial network on image classification tasks to improve the image classification accuracy. Two applications of GANs are mainly focused on: semi-supervised learning and generation of images which can be as real as possible. The whole process is divided into two sections. First, only a small part of the dataset is utilized as labeled training data. And then a huge amount of samples generated from the generator is added into the training samples to improve the generalization of the discriminator. Through the semi-supervised learning scheme, full use of the unlabeled data is made which may contain potential information. Thus, the classification accuracy of the discriminator can be improved. Experimental results demonstrate the improvement of the classification accuracy of discriminator among different datasets, such as MNIST, CIFAR-10.

Modeling porous structure of oil-pressboard interface and its effect on electric field distribution

The oil-pressboard insulation is a typical composite insulation system widely used in the design and manufactory of large power apparatus. The implement of oil-pressboard insulation may lead to surface electrification and discharge at the interface under certain condition. It is of significant importance to take an insight into the phenomenon occurring at the interface. Through experiment, the pressboard is found as a porous material. The interface changes abruptly from bulk pressboard to the bulk oil as a result of the porous structure. A new model is proposed which divides the interface into bulk oil region, transition region, and bulk pressboard region. The width of the transition region is decided according to the microtome figure. The effective permittivity of the transition region is calculated using a new model based on fractal theory. The model is validated and compared with previous calculation model. The effect of the existence of transition region on the electric field distribution is discussed.

The insulation performance of oil paper insulation is significantly affected by moisture such that monitoring moisture content is ***,it is difficult to obtain the moisture content accurately due to its dynamic change under multi physical *** the moisture transportation in oil paper insulation under multi physical fields becomes a vital method in solving the problem.A multi physical model describing moisture migration was proposed,which considered the effects of temperature on moisture in different existing states in oil-immersed paper(OIP).The temperature distribution formed a vapour pressure gradient to drive moisture migration and affected migration ***,experiments and simulations of moisture migration were performed,which showed that the experiments were in good agreement with *** results revealed that the temperature gradient caused uneven moisture distribution and the increased temperature reduced OIP moisture *** established model could fully characterise moisture migration under temperature gradient,which provided a theoretical reference for predicting the risk of partial dampness and evaluating insulation performance.

Maintenance tasks in distribution networks are often accompanied by hazards associated with high altitudes and high *** utilising robots instead of human operators to perform these tasks,potential risks can be avoided,while productivity can be *** research proposes an intelligent power distribution live‐line operation robot(PDLOR)system based on a stereo camera to replace human to complete *** PDLOR system consists of several key components,including dual manipulators,wireless tools,a visual perception system,an insulated bucket truck,and a ground control *** the task is confirmed,the real‐time vision system identification and posi-tioning enable the adjustment of the insulated bucket to position the robot correctly for its intended *** stereo camera plays a crucial role in accurately recognising and estimating the object's ***,a simplified reconstruction is performed within a virtual simulation environment,which aids in collision detection during path *** obtaining the optimal path,it is then communicated to the real manip-ulator for *** validate the feasibility of the PDLOR system,field experiments were conducted in actual distribution network *** results demonstrate that the PDLOR effectively completes single‐phase power‐line connection tasks within a remarkable 10‐min timeframe.

Parameter optimization of complex network based on the change-point identification

This paper proposes a novel method for the parameter optimization of complex networks established through coarsening and phase space ***,we identify the change-points of the time series based on the cumulative sum(CUSUM)control chart ***,we optimize the coarse-graining parameters and phase space embedding dimension based on the evolution analysis of the global topology index(betweenness)at the mutation ***,we conduct a simulation analysis based on real-time data of Chinese copper spot *** results show that the delay of the copper spot prices in Chinese spot market is 1 day,and the optimal embedding dimension of the phase space reconstruction is *** acceptance level of the investors towards the small fluctuations in copper spot prices is 0.2 times than the average level of price fluctuations,which means that an average price fluctuation of 0.2 times is the optimal coarse-graining parameter.

A New Topology Pattern for AC-DC Mixed Microgrid

In order to realize the modular design of the microgrid, this paper proposed a new modular topology for the AC-DC mixed microgrid. In that topology, the AC microgrid unit and the DC microgrid unit were packaged together by the back-to-back converter. The battery-supercapacitor hybrid energy storage system was connected to the DC bus of back-to-back converter. By the reasonable design on the battery-supercapacitor hybrid system, the energy storage system could supply the rapid power and energy support for the microgrid spontaneously. The mathematical model and the control algorithm of that microgrid topology were studied. By the simulation analysis, it can be concluded that AC-DC mixed modular microgrid topology could operate steadily on both the grid-connected mode and the isolated mode. Furthermore, we can conclude by the simulation that the designed modular microgrid could operate uninterrupted when the microgrid topology switched from the grid-connected mode to the isolated mode. The seamless switching became the natural property for the modular microgrid. As a result, the modular microgrid topology can be considered as a usual power/load module to realize the friendly power interaction with the power grid.

Study on multi-timescale operation of hydrogen-containing energy coupled with transportation system

With the widespread attention on hydrogen energy,the operation optimization of the coupling system of hydrogen energy and transportation has become a critical ***,this study develops a hydrogen-containing energy transportation coupling system for the system collaborative operation framework,operation mode and equipment modelling of the ***,a medium-to long-term operation optimization model and a short-term operation optimization model were constructed considering the differences in the operation of coupled systems at different timescales and operating costs as the objective function and power balance and system equipment as *** the medium-and long-term operation optimization model,the planning scenario reduction method is used to reduce the wind power generation *** the short-term operation optimization model,a multivariate uncertainty model is constructed to represent the uncertainty in the coupling ***,the solution method of the model is ***,a coupled system is simulated to verify the effectiveness of the model.(i)When the initial scene set is 600,the typical scene reduction method using Latin hypercube sampling and the Wasserstein distance can reduce operating costs by 7.60%and 9.49%compared with K-means reduction and K-media reduction methods.(ii)The sensitivity coefficients of hydrogen sales price,electricity sales price and maintenance rate to operating costs are-0.031%,-1.009%and 0.0105%,respectively.(iii)Considering multiple uncertainties can help make optimal decisions based on the overall consideration of disadvantage scenarios,thereby reducing system operating costs.
