The use of a gamma distribution of rain-drop sizes in the calculation of microwave rain attenuation is gaining *** on the CCIR rain attenuation relation aR,a method of calculating the general gamma distribution of raindrop sizes has been developed in this paper using the measured microwave attenuation data varying with the rain *** method,which overcomes the common problems of instability and does not suffer the possibility of multiple solutions,has been tested using a CCIR *** of the calculated results with the data from the CCIR model shows that the method provides the ideal modeling of rain Drop 5ize Distribution(DSD).As an application,the two-year experimental data recorded in Singapore has been used to obtain the parameters of the generalized gamma DSD function.

＜正＞In this paper,an effective integrative method that takes advantages of background subtraction and edge detection is proposed for vehicle detection and shadow rejection. Based on the method,vehicle counting,tracking, classification,and speed estimation for multi-lanes are achieved so that real-time traffic parameters can be obtained to describe the load of each lane.

A continuous-time 7th-order Butterworth Gm-C low pass filter(LPF) with on-chip automatic tuning circuit has been implemented for a direct conversion DBS tuner in a 0.35um SiGe BiCMOS *** filter’s -3dB cutoff frequency f can be tuned from 4MHz to 40MHz.A novel translinear transconductor(Gm) cell is used to implement the widely tunable and high linear *** filter has -0.5dB passband gain,28nV/Hz input referred noise, -2dBVrms passbandⅡP3,24dBVrms stopbandⅡ***Ⅰ/Q LPFs with the tuning circuit draw 16mA(with f=20MHz) from 3.3 V supply,and occupy an area of 0.45 mm.

＜正＞In this paper,a new approach to lane and obstacle detection is proposed,using reconstruction of 3D road *** on it,a new method for detecting lateral and longitudinal distances of vehicle is developed.A fast reconstruction of 3D road surface,adaptive modification of parameters,from an input road scene image is presented,which can simplify the design of system without any lose of robustness and *** structure is extracted and obstacles are detected from a road image for determining lateral and longitudinal distances of vehicle,which is used for lateral and longitudinal control of driver assistant system.

＜正＞In a recent result, we proposed a dynamic dual high-gain observer/controller architecture for nonlinear systems of the generalized output-feedback canonical form. The designed output-feedback controller was shown to be robust to functional and parametric uncertainties coupled with all states. However,a magnitude bound on the unknown parameters was required. In this paper,we propose two output-feedback controllers,one time-varying and the other time-invariant, that can handle time-varying nonlinear parametric uncertainty coupled with all states without requiring any a priori magnitude bounds on the unknown parameters. The proposed dynamic controller designs provide globally asymptotically stabilizing output-feedback solutions for the benchmark open problem proposed in our earlier work with no magnitude bounds or sign information on the unknown parameter being necessary.
