Surface wave inversion is a key step in the application of surface waves to soil velocity ***,a common practice for the process of inversion is that the number of soil layers is assumed to be known before using heuristic search algorithms to compute the shear wave velocity profile or the number of soil layers is considered as an optimization ***,an improper selection of the number of layers may lead to an incorrect shear wave velocity *** this study,a deep learning and genetic algorithm hybrid learning procedure is proposed to perform the surface wave inversion without the need to assume the number of soil ***,a deep neural network is adapted to learn from a large number of synthetic dispersion curves for inferring the layer ***,the shear-wave velocity profile is determined by a genetic algorithm with the known layer *** applying this procedure to both simulated and real-world cases,the results indicate that the proposed method is reliable and efficient for surface wave inversion.

The enhanced power quality provided by multilevel inverters(MLIs)has made them more appropriate for medium-and high-power applications,including photovoltaic ***,a prevalent limitation involves the necessity for numerous switches and increased voltage stress across these switches,consequently increasing the overall system *** address these challenges,a new 17-level asymmetrical MLI with fewer components and low voltage stress is proposed for the photovoltaic *** innovative MLI configuration has four direct current(DC)sources and 10 *** on the trinary sequence,the proposed topology uses photovoltaics with boost converters and fuzzy logic controllers as its DC *** equations are used to calculate cru-cial parameters for this proposed design,including total standing voltage per unit(TSVPU),cost function per level(CF/L),component count per level(CC/L)and voltage stress across the *** comparison is conducted by considering switches,DC sources,TSVPU,CF/L,gate driver circuits and CC/L with other existing MLI *** analysis is carried out under various conditions,encompassing different levels of irradiance,variable loads and modulation *** reduce the total harmonic distortion of the suggested topology,the phase opposition disposition approach has been *** suggested framework is simulated in MATLAB®/Simulink®.The results indicate that the proposed topology achieves a well-distributed stress profile across the switches and has CC/L of 1.23,TSVPU of 5 and CF/L of 4.58 and 5.76 with weight coefficients of 0.5 and 1.5,*** values are not-ably superior to those of existing MLI *** results demonstrate that the proposed topology maintains a consistent output at varying irradiance levels with FLCs and exhibits robust performance under variable loads and diverse modulation ***,the total harmonic distortion achieved with phase opposition disposi

The quantum hydrodynamic model for electrons and ions and the generalized hydrodynamic model for the strongly coupled dust particles are proposed in the strongly coupled quantum dusty plasma, where the combined quantum effects of quantum diffraction, quantum statistic pressure,as well as electron exchange and correlation effects are all considered in the quantum hydrodynamic model. The shear and bulk viscosity effects are included in the viscoelastic relaxation, which leads to the decay of the dust-ion-acoustic waves. The approximate time-dependent solitary solution is obtained by the momentum conservation law in the presence of viscosity.

Scalar-tensor theories of gravity are considered to be competitors to Einstein's theory of general relativity for the description of classical gravity,as they are used to build feasible models for cosmic *** theories can be formulated both in the Jordan and Einstein frame,which are related by a Weyl transformation with a field transformation,known together as a frame *** theories formulated in the above two frames are often considered to be equivalent from the point of view of classical ***,this is no longer true from the quantum field theoretical *** the present article,we show that the Ward identities derived in the above two frames are not connected through the frame *** shows that the quantum field theories formulated in these two frames are not equivalent to each ***,this inequivalence is also shown by comparing the effective actions derived in these two frames.

Quantum teleportation as the key strategy for quantum communication requires pure maximally shared entangled states among quantum *** practice,quantum decoherence drastically degrades the shared entanglement during entanglement distribution,which is a serious challenge for the development of quantum ***,most of the decoherence control strategies proposed thus far are either resource-intensive or *** overcome this obstacle,we enable noise-resistant teleportation through a noisy channel with a limited number of qubits and without applying time-consuming weak *** apply a quantum gate control unit consisting of a controlled NOT gate and a rotation gate after the original teleportation protocol is ***,we demonstrate that a teleportation fidelity of unity is attainable when environment-assisted measurement is added to the proposed teleportation protocol via quantum ***,we present an entanglement distribution process by employing the designed quantum gate control unit followed by the deterministic standard teleportation protocol to improve teleportation fidelity by establishing improved shared *** performance analysis indicates that the proposed teleportation schemes offer a competitive fidelity and success probability compared with the conventional schemes and a recent weak measurement-based teleportation protocol.

It is challenging to devise lightweight cryptographic primitives efficient in both hardware and software that can provide an optimum level of security to diverse Internet of Things applications running on low-end constrained ***,an effcient hardware design approach that requires some specific hardware resource may not be effcient if implemented in *** bit Permutation Network based ciphers such as PRESENT and GIFT are effcient,lightweight cryptographic hardware design *** ciphers introduce confusion and diffu-sion by employing a 4×4 static substitution box and bit *** bit-wise permutation is realised by sim-ple rerouting,which is most cost-effective to implement in hardware,resulting in negligible power ***,this method is highly resource-consuming in software,particularly for large block-sized ciphers,with each single-bit permutation requiring multiple *** paper proposes a novel software-based design approach for permutation operation in Substitution bit Permutation Network based ciphers using a bit-banding *** conventional permutation using bit rotation and the proposed approach have been implemented,analysed and compared for GIFT and PRESENT ciphers on ARM Cortex-M3-based LPC1768 development platform with KEIL MDK used as an Integrated Development *** real-time performance comparison between conven-tional and the proposed approaches in terms of memory(RAM/ROM)footprint,power,energy and execution time has been carried out using ULINKpro and ULINKplus debug adapters for various code and speed optimisation *** proposed approach substantially reduces execution time,energy and power consumption for both PRE-SENT and GIFT ciphers,thus demonstrating the effciency of the proposed method for Substitution bit Permutation Network based symmetric block ciphers.
