By analyzing the correlation between courses in students’grades,we can provide a decision-making basis for the revision of courses and syllabi,rationally optimize courses,and further improve teaching effects.With the help of IBM SPSS Modeler data mining software,this paper uses Apriori algorithm for association rule mining to conduct an in-depth analysis of the grades of nursing students in Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and to explore the correlation between professional basic courses and professional core courses.Lastly,according to the detailed analysis of the mining results,valuable curriculum information will be found from the actual teaching data.

Objective:The present study investigated antiglycation and antioxidant activities of crude dry extract and saponin fraction of Tribulus terrestris.It also developed a method of microencapsulation and evaluated antiglycation and antioxidant activities of crude dry extract and saponin fraction before and after microcapsule release.Methods:Antiglycation activity was determined by relative electrophoretic mobility(REM),free amino groups and inhibition of advanced glycation end-product(AGE)formation.Antioxidant activity was determined by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH),ferric ion-reducing antioxidant power(FRAP),nitric oxide(NO)and thiobarbituric acid reactive species(TBARS)tests.Microcapsules were prepared using maltodextrin as wall material and freeze-drying as encapsulation technique.Morphological characterization of microcapsules was evaluated by scanning electron microscopy,and encapsulation efficiency and microcapsule release were determined by total saponins released.Antiglycation and antioxidant assays were performed using crude dry extract and saponin fraction of T.terrestris before and after release.Results:Saponin fraction showed an increase of 32.8%total saponins.High-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis showed the presence of saponins in the obtained fraction.Antiglycation evaluation by REM demonstrated that samples before and after release presented antiglycation activity similar to bovine serum albumin treated with aminoguanidine.Additionally,samples inhibited AGE formation,highlighting treatment with saponin fraction after release(89.89%).Antioxidant tests demonstrated antioxidant activity of the samples.Crude dry extract before encapsulation presented the highest activities in DPPH(92.00%)and TBARS(32.49%)assays.Saponin fraction before encapsulation in FRAP test(499μmol Trolox equivalent per gram of dry sample)and NO test(15.13μmol nitrite formed per gram of extract)presented the highest activities.Conclusion:This study presented antiglycation activity of crude dry extract

Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of morbidity and mortality in the world, and obesity and the metabolic syndrome are risk factors for its development. One of the therapies to reduce cardiovascular risk is the use of polyunsaturated fatty acids. In Brazil, a source of such acid is the oil extracted from the fat of the capybara. The objective of this work is to study the effects of the capybara oil on lipid and glucose metabolism, as well as its effects on the adipose tissue and cardiac remodeling. We assessed the effects of capybara oil treatment on body mass, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, systolic blood pressure, adipose tissue and cardiac remodeling, and performed an ultrastructural evaluation of the myocardium in C57Bl/6 mice treated with high-fat diet. Treatment with capybara oil reduced total cholesterol and triglyceride levels, systolic blood pressure, visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissue, and adipocyte diameter. In addition, cardiac remodeling was attenuated, preserving cardiomyocytes, increasing vascularization, reducing cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and the extracellular matrix, and preserving the morphological integrity of mitochondria. Capybara oil has several beneficial effects on the cardiovascular and metabolic system, and further studies are needed to better understand its role in the prevention or treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Solar vapor generation is a promising sustainable technology that uses solar distillation to produce fresh water from seawater and wastewater,helping relieve global water resource shortage.Here,inspired by naturally grown integrally molded mulberry leaves with a Janus hydrophilic and hydrophobic structure,a novel,simple,and efficient integrated molding method is proposed to break through the limitations of the traditional split manufacturing strategy and realizes the integrated formation of Janus evaporator.Based on the spontaneous sedimentation characteristics of MXene in silk fibroin solution and its regulation of mesoscopic structure and hydrophilicity of silk fibroin,layered structures with different compositions and hydrophilicities were obtained in one step.Meanwhile,ethanol and glutaraldehyde were added to construct a physical crystallization-chemical crosslinking dual stabilization structure in silk fibroin.Our evaporator has the evaporation rate of 3.07 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) and the efficiency of 86.8%under 1 sun and maintains high evaporation performance under various extreme test conditions including vigorous washing,repeated compression,and high-intensity ultraviolet(UV)irradiation.Additionally,the evaporator performs well in practical application scenarios,its evaporation rate in the simulated Dead Sea seawater exceeds 2.13 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1),and more than 99.9%of the salt,heavy metal ions,oil pollution,and dyes are purified.

Assessing individual risks of healthy aging using biomarkers and identifying associated factors have become important areas of research.In this study,we conducted a literature review of relevant publications between 2018 and 2023 in both Chinese and English databases.Previous studies have predominantly used single biomarkers,such as C-reactive protein,or focused on specific life course stages and factors such as socioeconomic status,mental health,educational levels,and unhealthy lifestyles.By summarizing the progress in this field,our study provides valuable insights and future directions for promoting healthy aging from a life course perspective.

Developing low-cost and green simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification technologies is of great significance for sulfur dioxide(SO_(2))and nitrogen oxide(NO_(x))emission control at low temperatures,especially for small and medium-sized coal-fired boilers and furnaces.Herein,phosphorus sludge,an industrial waste from the production process of yellow phosphorus,has been developed to simultaneously eliminate SO_(2)and NO_(x)from coal-fired flue gas.The key factors affecting the experimental results indicate that desulfurization and denitrification efficiency of over 95%can be achieved at a low temperature of 55℃.Further,the absorption mechanism was investigated by characterizing the solid and liquid phases of the phosphorus sludge during the absorption process.The efficient removal of SO_(2)is attributed to the abundance of iron(Fe^(3+))and manganese(Mn^(2+))in the absorbent.SO_(2)can be rapidly catalyzed and converted to SO_(4)^(2-)by them.The key to NOx removal is the oxidation of NO toward watersoluble high-valent nitrogen oxides by oxidizing reactive substances induced via yellow phosphorus,which are then absorbed by water and converted to NO_(3)^(-).Meanwhile,yellow phosphorus is oxidized to phosphoric acid(H_(3)PO_(4)).The spent absorption slurry can be reused through wet process phosphoric acid production,as it contains sulfuric acid(H_(2)SO_(4)),nitric acid(HNO_(3)),and H_(3)PO_(4).Accordingly,this is a technology with broad application prospects.

Comprehensive Summary,Regulating spin crossover(SCO)behavior,especially controlling the spin transition steps,is an important scientific issue,mainly because people aim to control spin bistability and multistability.Presently,SCO bistability can be regulated by changing the ligand-modifying species,non-coordinated anions,guest molecules,and metal-ion dopant.However,the control of multistability is extremely challenging,especially in Fe(III)SCO compounds.Here,we report that[FeIII(H-5-Br-thsa)(5-Br-thsa)]·H2O(5-Br-thsa=(5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamide),a compound we have reported before,exists in two polymorphic forms:polymorph 1 exhibits three-step SCO,and polymorph 2 shows five-step SCO,with multi-step SCO behavior effectively regulated by polymorphism.According to single-crystal and powder X-ray diffractometry,polymorphs 1 and 2 crystallize in different space groups during their spin transitions,with two-step symmetry breaking observed(Pbcn→Pnc2→Pbcn for polymorph 1;P21/n→Pn→P21/n for polymorph 2).We realized that the behavior of these two polymorphs depends significantly on the structure,including(i)the average Fe—N bond distance,(ii)deformation of octahedral FeIII atoms,and(iii)distinct crystal packing,which account for the large differences observed in magnetic properties.

Through equilibrium and non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations,we have demonstrated the inhibitory effect of composition graded interface on thermal transport behavior in lateral heterostructures.Specifically,we investigated the influence of composition gradient length and heterogeneous particles at the silicene/germanene(SIL/GER)heterostructure interface on heat conduction.Our results indicate that composition graded interface at the interface diminishes the thermal conductivity of the heterostructure,with a further reduction observed as the length increases,while the effect of the heterogeneous particles can be considered negligible.To unveil the influence of composition graded interface on thermal transport,we conducted phonon analysis and identified the presence of phonon localization within the interface composition graded region.Through these analyses,we have determined that the decrease in thermal conductivity is correlated with phonon localization within the heterostructure,where a stronger degree of phonon localization signifies poorer thermal conductivity in the material.Our research findings not only contribute to understanding the impact of interface gradient-induced phonon localization on thermal transport but also offer insights into the modulation of thermal conductivity in heterostructures.

In water, N,N′-diarylpyridinium thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole guests(G1–G3) were encapsulated by cucurbit[8]uril(Q[8]) to construct Q[8]_(3)/G_(2) complexes, in which the encapsulated G molecules exist as an exact face-to-face dimer. These complexation behaviors have been indicated by proton nuclear magnetic resonance(~1H NMR) spectroscopy and isothermal titration calorimetry(ITC),and have been confirmed by X-ray single crystal structural analysis of Q[8]_(3)/G2_(2). While free guests G1–G3 have no ability to sensitize singlet oxygen, they all become effective singlet oxygen sensitizers when complexed with Q[8]. By irradiation of white light, Q[8]_(3)/G_(2) complexes induced selective oxidation of aryl sulfide to aryl sulfoxide in good yields and selective oxidation of dimethyl sulfide(DMS) to dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) in excellent yields without over-oxidation to dimethyl sulfone(DMSO_(2))even for elongated irradiation. High-yield photo-oxidation of DMS to DMSO_(2) was only achieved by irradiation of blue light in the presence of Q[8]_(3)/G1_(2), which was also effective in photobleaching of Rhodamine B in water. The higher photo-oxidation power of Q[8]_(3)/G1_(2) has been ascribed to an additional generation of reactive oxygen species besides singlet oxygen.
