On March 10,2023,Master Chuanyin(传印)passed away at Donglin Monastery(东林寺)in Mount Lu(庐山),Jiangxi Province,aged *** was the former President and Honorary President of the Buddhist Association of China(BAC).As a well-known patriotic Buddhist leader and a close friend of the Communist Party of China(CPC),he was elected the member of the 11th National committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC),the member of the Standing committee and Deputy Director of the Commission for Ethnic and Religious Affairs of the 12th CPPCC National committee.
