Facile Synthesis of Rose-Like NiO Nanoparticles and Their Ethanol Gas-Sensing Property

In this study, rose-like nickel oxide （NiO） nanoparticles with diameters of 400-500 nm are prepared on ITO glass substrates by simple electrodeposition in NiSO46H20 solution at room temperature followed by oxidation in air. Scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction and a transmission electron microscope are used for analyses of the NiO nanoparticles. The ethanol gas sensitivity of these nanoparticles is studied. The results indicate that the rose-like NiO nanoparticles could be used for the fabrication of ethanol gas sensors to monitor the low concentration of ethanol gas in air. Furthermore, at 5 ppm, the NiO nanorose-based sensors show a high response to ethanol （Rg/Ra = 8.4）.

Tundish is the last refractory vessel in the steelmaking process. The fluid flow phenomena in tundish have a strong influence on the separation of non-metallic inclusions. The dispersive bubble wall （DBW） is a new method in tundish metallurgy. A water model of a multi-strand tundish has been set up based on the Froude number and Reynold number similarity criteria. The effect of DBW＋weir on the flow pattern has been studied. The results show that this new structure of DBW＋weir is beneficial not only to uniform the temperature among different submerge entry nozzles but also to separate non-metallic inclusions from liquid steel. The DBW can capture the particles of non-metallic inclusions and make them float up to the surface.

Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a disabling pathology influencing the population averagely aged 33-38 years. It is characterized by a compromised subchondral microcirculation, especially in the small retinacular vessels. The prevalence of ONFH is relatively high in China. At present, the surgery is the optimal treatment modality for ONFH, but it still can result in many complications. In recent years, traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has shown unique advantages in ONFH, including internal application and external application of Chinese herbs, TCM fumigation, TCM iontophoresis, TCM Tazi and so on. This article primarily investigated the key points of common syndromes, TCM nursing methods and healthy guidance of ONFH in adults, aiming at maintaining and developing the strengths of TCM, improving its efficacy and standardizing its behavior.
