Ten years ago, in 2011, we founded Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B(APSB) with the goal of creating a global high-level forum centered around drug discovery and pharmaceutical research/application. Our first priority was and will always be to serve our readers and the best way is to diligently curate our publications to ensure the high quality of our articles. For our efforts, APSB was included by the Chemical Abstract in 2011, accepted by Pub Med Central in 2015, indexed by Science Citation Index in 2017 and has evolved to become one of the most important international journals in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

This special APSB issue marks the beginning of a series of celebratory events for the 10-year anniversary of the *** was June 2011, when the first issue of the journal was *** has been an exciting decade for the growth of the journal, which began publishing bimonthly and was changed to monthly in 2020to meet the ever-increasing demand for journal space. The inaugural issue had 10 articles, including two reviews and eight research articles. From the beginning, the editors set high standards and expectations. The annual editorial report for the first year showed a rejection rate of 85%;today, the rejection rate is over 93%. The initial goal of reaching an impact factor of 3 was quickly reached;now the impact factor is above 7. The journal has established itself as a leading international journal in pharmaceutical sciences in a relatively short time, an accomplishment well worth celebrating!

In 1946, The Dental Journal of West China Union University was launched by Dr. Ashley Lindsay. Dr. Lindsay was the founder of the Dental School in West China Union University, which was also the first dental school in China, and the journal was the first dental and oral journal in the country. Although the journal was finally suspended after 8-years of publication of high-quality academic papers in both Chinese and English, the first dental hospital and dental school, now West China College of Stomatology of Sichuan University, which Dr. Lindsay and his colleagues devoted their lives to, has been providing services to the Chinese people and taught thousands of practitioners and scholars over the past century. Just celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2007, the college takes pride in being the leading educational and clinical base for dental, oral and maxillofacial sciences in China.

The Unified Field

This is a Unified Field description based on the holographic Time Dilation Cosmology, TDC, model, which is an eternal continuum evolving forward in the forward direction of time, at the speed of light, c, at an invariant 1 s/s rate of time. This is the Fundamental Direction of Evolution, FDE. There is also an evolution down time dilation gradients, the Gravitational Direction of Evolution, GDE. These evolutions are gravity, which is the evolutionary force in time. Gravitational velocities are compensation for the difference in the rate of time, dRt, in a dilation field, and the dRtis equal to the compensatory velocity’s percentage of c, and is a measure of the force in time inducing the velocity. In applied force induced velocities, the dRt is a measure of the resistance in time to the induced velocity, which might be called “anti-gravity” or “negative gravity”. The two effects keep the continuum uniformly evolving forward at c. It is demonstrated that gravity is already a part of the electromagnetic field equations in way of the dRt element contained in the TDC velocity formula. Einstein’s energy formula is defined as a velocity formula and a modified version is used for charged elementary particle solutions. A time dilation-based derivation of the Lorentz force ties gravity directly to the electromagnetic field proving the unified field of gravity and the EMF. It is noted how we could possibly create gravity drives. This is followed by a discussion of black holes, proving supermassive objects, like massive black hole singularities, are impossible, and that black holes are massless Magnetospheric Eternally Collapsing Objects (MECOs) that are vortices in spacetime. .

This paper is a further elaboration of the author’s Time Dilation Cosmology (TDC) holographic model that ties gravitation and celestial mechanics and kinematics directly to time dilation, resolving all the major conundrums in astrophysics, and ties astrophysics directly to quantum physics. It begins with a brief summary of the TDC model and contains the new derivation for the time dilation version of the formula for summing relativistic velocities, Einstein’s gravitational constant and the time dilation versions for the Lorentz factor and the Euclidean norm of the 3d velocity vector, the two of which can then be used in the Four-velocity formula. It is demonstrated how orbital curvature is manifested as the resultant of two time dilation-manifested velocities. It also explains why an interferometer cannot distinguish free fall from zero gravity and further elaborates on the author’s previous explanations of how spiral galaxies are formed, and contains mathematical proof that Black Holes are actually Magnetospheric Eternally Collapsing Objects (MECOs) that are massless spacetime vortices.
