Environmental degradation is a pressing global concern,with the energy sector being one of the major contributors to this *** environmental impact of energy imports,particularly regarding natural resources income and natural gas production profitability,cannot be *** must assess the environmental consequences of their energy choices and take steps to minimize their *** transitioning to cleaner and more sustainable energy sources,countries can ensure a better future for the environment and their *** study examines the impact of energy imports and natural resources income on environmental degradation in the Asia-Pacific economic Cooperation(APEC)countries from 1990 to 2020,using revenue minus the production cost of natural gas and electricity production from renewable sources as moderating ***-run estimates are derived using the Generalized Method of Moments and robust least *** findings elucidate that importing energy from countries specializing in renewable energy can help reduce reliance on fossil *** diversification of energy sources decreases the overall carbon footprint and contributes to a cleaner *** gas production often involves infrastructure construction,such as drilling rigs and pipelines,which can disrupt natural habitats and wildlife *** destruction of ecosystems can have long-term consequences on biodiversity and ecological *** environmental impact of energy imports,particularly related to natural resource income and natural gas production profitability,requires BRICS countries to take proactive *** nations can address the environmental challenges associated with their energy demands by implementing policies prioritizing sustainable resource management,carbon pricing,stringent regulation,and investment in research and *** doing so,they can balance economic growth and environmental sustainability,ensuring a greener future for the BRICS

This research explored the effects of the coronavirus disease(COVID-19)outbreak on stock price movements of China’s tourism industry by using an event study *** results showed that the crisis negatively impacted tourism sector *** quantile regression analyses supported the non-linear relationship between the government’s responses and stock *** results present that the resurgence of the virus in Beijing did bring about a short-term negative impact on the tourism *** empirical results can be used for future researchers to conduct a comparative study of cultural differences concerning government responses to the COVID-19.

Optical molecular imaging is an important technique of studies at molecular level and provides promising tools to non-invasively delineate in vivo physiological and pathological activities at cellular and molecular levels,and it has been widely used for diagnosing,managing diseases,metastasis detection and drug *** a mathematical perspective,this paper mainly focuses on the forward problem and inverse problem in biological tissues based on the radiative transfer equation(RTE).The forward problem is accustomed to describing photon propagation in biological tissues and the inverse problem is used to reconstruct internal source distribution from the signal detected on the external *** also introduce the detailed derivation of the RTE and Robin boundary condition and discretization of the forward problem,along with the reconstruction methods and iterative solution algorithms summarized for the inverse ***,the current and future challenges of optical molecular imaging are *** survey aims to construct a mathematical method,a state-of-the-art framework for optical molecular imaging,from which future research may benefit.

The piezoelectric film electro-deposition for optical fiber sensor with ZnO coating is studied. The zinc oxide plating film is made on the copper surface directly by cathodic electro-deposition in the Zn（NO3）2 single salt aqueous solution systems. The influences of main experimental conditions on the properties of ZnO thin film in the electro-deposition processes are analyzed and a stable, practical and economic technique is obtained.

External disturbances or inaccurate mathematical model built will inevitably impose a disadvantageous effect on the robot system,which generates positioning errors,vibrations,as well as weakening control performances of the system. The strategy of combining adaptive radial basis function( RBF) neural network control and composite nonlinear feedback( CNF) control is studied,and a robot CNF controller based on RBF neural network compensation is proposed. The core is to use RBF neural network control to approach the uncertainty of the system online,as the compensation term of the CNF controller,and make full use of the advantages of the two control methods to reduce the influence of uncertain factors on the performance of the system. The convergence of closed-loop system is proved. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this strategy.

The effect of COVID-19 on stock market performance has important implications for both financial theory and *** paper examines the relationship between COVID-19 and the instability of both stock return predictability and price volatility in the U.S over the period January 1st,2019 to June 30th,2020 by using the methodologies of Bai and Perron(Econometrica 66:47–78,***://***/10.2307/2998540;J Appl Econo 18:1–22,***://***/10.1002/jae.659),Elliot and Muller(Optimal testing general breaking processes in linear time series *** of California at San Diego economic Working Paper,2004),and Xu(J Econ 173:126–142,***://***/10.1016/*** om.2012.11.001).The results highlight a single break in return predictability and price volatility of both S&P 500 and *** timing of the break is consistent with the COVID-19 outbreak,or more specifically the stock sellingoffs by the *** committee members before COVID-19 crashed the ***,return predictability and price volatility significantly increased following the derived *** findings suggest that the pandemic crisis was associated with market inefficiency,creating profitable opportunities for traders and ***,it also induced income and wealth inequality between market participants with plenty of liquidity at hand and those short of funds.

Temperate and high-latitude forests are carbon sinks and play pivotal roles in offsetting greenhouse gas emissions of ***,uncertainty still exists for subtropical forests,especially in monsoon-prevalent eastern *** studies have depended on remote sensing,ecosystem modeling,carbon fluxes,or single period forest surveys to estimate carbon sequestration capacities,and the results vary *** study was designed to utilize multi-period forest survey data to explore spatial-dynamics of biomass storage in subtropical forests of *** province,a region with over 60%subtropical forest cover,was selected as the case study site and is located in central east *** on forest inventory data 1984-2013,and the stock-difference and biomass expansion factor methods,the carbon storage and density,of arboreal forests,economic forests,bamboo forests,woodlands and shrubberies were *** results show that carbon storage increased from 159.1 Tg C in 1988 to 276.1 TgC in 2013,making up 3.1-3.8%of carbon stored throughout *** the four types of forests,the amount of carbon stored was as follows:arboreal forest>economic forest>bamboo forest>woodland and *** forests accounted for 64.0-79.4%of the *** carbon density increased from 21.2 Mg C ha-1 in 1984 to26.2 Mg C ha-1 in 2013,equal to 61.2-70.2%of the average carbon density of China’s forests in the same *** carbon storage in Jiangxi will reach 355.5 Tg C and 535.8 Tg C in 2020 and 2030,respectively,and forest carbon density is predicted to be 31.9 Mg C ha-1and 46.4 Mg C ha-1,*** one of the few studies using multi-period data tracking biomass dynamics in Jiangxi province,the findings of this study may be used as a reference for other *** Jiangxi as a case study underlies the fact that subtropical forests in China have great carbon sequestration potential and have fundamental significance to offset global environmental change eff

The behavior of industrial cluster is similar to the behavior of biological population, that is, the industrial cluster is seemed to be an ecological symbiotic system. The relationship between economic organizations in the industrial cluster is similar to the relationship of species in ecological system, and symbiotic reciprocity, competition and cooperation are the basic. The ecological development is mainstream and direction of industrial cluster. In this paper, firstly, we studied the ecological symbiosis growth model of industry cluster, and tbund it being according to logistic growth model; secondly, we studied the growth and reproduction of economic organizations in industrial cluster in three different cases, which with only competition relations, only beneficial relations, and both competition and beneficial cooperation relationship between economic organizations, and finally, we determined the number of economical organizations when the industrial cluster attained ecological equilibrium.
