the electron cyclotron emission(ECE)diagnostic system has been developed on the ENN spherical torus(EXL-50).the ECE system is designed to detect radiation emitted by energetic electrons,rather than conventional 1d electron temperature profile measurement,in the frequency range of 4-40 *** system is composed of five subsystems,each covering a different frequency band,including the C-band(4-8 GHz),X-band(8-12 GHz),Ku-band(12-18 GHz),K-band(18-26.5 GHz)and Kα-band(26.4-40 GHz).the system uses heterodyne detection to analyze the received *** K-band and Kα-band subsystems are located horizontally in the equatorial plane of the EXL-50,while the C-band,X-band and Ku-band subsystems are located under the vacuum vessel of the *** direct the microwaves from the plasma to the antennas for the horizontal detection subsystems,a quasi-optical system has been *** the vertical detection subsystems,the antennas are directly attached to the port located beneath the torus at R=700 mm,which is also the magnetic axis of the *** system integration,bench testing and initial experimental results will be thoroughly discussed,providing a comprehensive understanding of the ECE system s performance and capabilities.

In light of the difficult removal of harmful impurity tungsten(W)in Ce metal,in this paper a combined vacuum gravity sedimentation-directional solidification method was innovatively designed and the W separation behavior was *** reducing the electron beam power instantly and gradually at reduction rates of 1,3 and 5 kW/min,it is found that W is enriched at the bottom of ingots as the melt *** enrichment effect is much better than that of single purification method and the enrichment degree increases as the beam reduction rate decreases,attributed to the k0(W)>1 andρ(W)>ρ(Ce).Overall,the minimum content of W impurity can decrease from 630 to 0.1 ppm at the top of the ingot,and the purity of Ce increases from 99.932 wt%to 99.995 wt%by this combined ***,this paper provides a new method for the removal of high density and low evaporation coefficient impurities in low vapor pressure rare earth metals.

As semiconductor devices shrink and their manufacturing processes advance,accurately measuring in-cell critical dimensions(Cd)becomes increasingly *** test element group(tEG)measurements are becoming inadequate for representing the fine,repetitive patterns in cell *** non-destructive metrology technologies like optical critical dimension(OCd)are limited due to their large spot diameter of approximately 25μm,which impedes their efficacy for detailed in-cell structural ***,there is a pressing need for small-spot and non-destructive metrology *** address this limitation,we demonstrate a microsphere-assisted hyperspectral imaging(MAHsI)system,specifically designed for small spot optical metrology with *** microsphere-assisted super-resolution imaging,this system achieves an optical resolution of 66 nm within a field of view of 5.6μm×5.6μ*** approach effectively breaks the diffraction limit,significantly enhancing the magnification of the *** MAHsI system incorporating hyperspectral imaging with a wavelength range of 400–790 nm,enables the capture of the reflection spectrum at each camera *** achieved pixel resolution,which is equivalent to the measuring spot size,is 14.4 nm/pixel and the magnification is *** MAHsI system enables measurement of local uniformity in critical areas like corners and edges of dRAM cell blocks,areas previously challenging to inspect with conventional OCd *** our knowledge,this approach represents the first global implementation of microsphere-assisted hyperspectral imaging to address the metrology challenges in complex 3d structures of semiconductor devices.

to prepare a highly efficient NiMo/Al_(2)O_(3) hydrodesulfurization catalyst,the combined effects of specific organic functional groups and alumina surface characteristics were ***,the correlation between the surface characteristics of four different alumina and the existing Mo species states was *** was found that the Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity can be used as a specific descriptor to quantitatively evaluate the changes in surface characteristics of different alumina.A lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity for alumina means weaker metal-support interaction and the loaded Mo species are easier to transform into ***,the Mo-O-Al bonds still exist at the metal-support *** introduction of cationic surfactant hecadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CtAB)can further improve Mo species dispersion through electrostatic attraction with Mo anions and interaction of its alkyl chain with the alumina surface;meanwhile,the introduction of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EdtA)can complex with Ni ions to enhance the Ni-promoting effect on ***,the NiMo catalyst designed using alumina with lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity and the simultaneous addition of EdtA and CtAB exhibits the highest hydrodesulfurization activity for 4,6-dimethyl dibenzothiophene because of its proper metal-support interaction and more well-dispersed Ni-Mo-s active phases.

Weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore is crucial source of medium and heavy rare earths,with in-situ leaching being the most common mining *** high contents of impurity of aluminum in the leach solution are a significant challenge for the subsequent enrichment process of rare earths.A comprehensive understanding of the occurrences and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths within typical vertical profiles can provide valuable insights into entire design of the in-situ *** paper improves a five-step sequential extraction method to analyze the occurrence and vertical distribution of rare earths and aluminum in vertical profiles from Chongzuo and *** results demonstrate that soil solution pH is the main factor affecting the vertical distribution of ionexchangeable rare *** samples have distinct areas of enrichment for ion-exchangeable rare earths or ***-exchangeable rare earths are primary concentrated in the middle and lower parts of the ore layer(4-13 m in Chongzuo,14-22 m in Longyan),while the ion-exchangeable aluminum is mainly enriched in the upper part of the ore layer(1-5 m in Chongzuo,and 2-14 m in Longyan).the vertical distribution of inorganic hydroxy aluminum is likely influenced by the micromorphology and particle size of the clay *** inorganic hydroxy aluminum concentration in Chongzuo samples decreases continuously from 415.65 to 120.95 mg/kg with increasing sampling depth,whereas the concentration in Longyan samples(110.55-171.27 mg/kg)is almost independence with sampling *** results provide direct guidance for the entire design of the injection well depth and the leaching parameters,thereby inhibiting the leaching of impurity of aluminum and lower the consumption of leaching agent.

dNA sequencers have become increasingly important research and diagnostic tools over the past 20 *** this study,we developed a single-molecule desktop sequencer,GenoCare 1600(GenoCare),which utilizes amplification-free library preparation and two-color sequencing-by-synthesis chemistry,making it more user-friendly compared with previous single-molecule sequencing platforms for clinical *** the GenoCare platform,we sequenced an Escherichia coli standard sample and achieved a consensus accuracy exceeding 99.99%.We also evaluated the sequencing performance of this platform in microbial mixtures and coronavirus disease 2019(COvId-19)samples from throat *** findings indicate that the GenoCare platform allows for microbial quantitation,sensitive identification of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(sARs-Cov-2)virus,and accurate detection of virus mutations,as confirmed by sanger sequencing,demonstrating its remarkable potential in clinical application.

Background: COvId-19 limitations have hindered the implementation of new technologies by preventing proctors from coming to the *** share our first experience of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)-guided focused ultrasound(MRgFUs)treatment with an international remote online proctorship,and develop and evaluate the methodology of remote MRgFUs ***: this single-center,nonrandomized controlled prospective study included 94 patients:27 with essential tremor(Et)and 67 with tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease(Pd).the coming of proctors was impossible,so we arranged for the remote participation of proctors from the United Kingdom,spain,and Israel.A total of 38 patients(40.4%)received telemedicine-proctored treatment(proctor group)and 56 received their treatment independently(solo group).We used the Clinical Rating scale for tremor(CRst)for Et patients and the Unified Parkinson's disease Rating scale(UPdRs)Part III for Pd ***: In patients with Et,success rates were 81.8%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.22).CRst reduction on the treated side was 71.43%[65.83%;80.56%](proctor group)versus 60.87%[53.99;79.58](solo group)(p=0.19).None of the patients showed worsening of tremors within 1 *** patients with Pd,the success rates were 92.6%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.08).the UPdRs Part III improvement was 30.1%(proctor group)versus 39.9%(solo group)(p=0.003).the 1-year recurrence rate was 40%(proctor group)and 17.5%(solo group)(p=0.04).No complications were observed at 6 ***: We developed a feasible and safe methodology for telemedicine remote online-proctored MRgFUs *** significant difference was observed between the solo and developed remote proctor protocols in terms of complication rate,effect,and long-term results;however,UPdRs Part III improvement was better in the Pd solo *** study demonstrated that the MRgFUs international proctorship can be performed successfully remotely.
