From clinical practice,the authors concluded that the principal pathogenic factor in allergicrhinitis is deficient resistance of the the body surface,and the patient is exposed to invasionof wind-evil.495 cases of the allergic rhinitis have been treated with the method of invigo-rating vital energy and strengthening the body surface resistance (Bu Qi Gu Biao 补气固表);the total effective rate was 84%,and the recurrence rate was 13.2% in a follow-up of *** changes in plasma cyclic nucleotides of the patients,and the ultrastructure of na-sal mucosa of patients and animal models were also observed before and after *** results showed that the tCM therapy tended to normalize the plasma cyclic nucleotidelevel,to improve the morphology and function of cells and organelles,to restore the functionof mucosal cilia,to reduce the infiltration of eosinophils and their degranulation,to reducetissue edema,and to eliminate the deposit of immune complexes.

Customer segmentation according to load-shape profiles using smart meter data is an increasingly important application to vital the planning and operation of energy systems and to enable citizens’participation in the energy *** study proposes an innovative multi-step clustering procedure to segment customers based on load-shape patterns at the daily and intra-daily time *** meter data is split between daily and hourly normalized time series to assess monthly,weekly,daily,and hourly seasonality patterns *** dimensionality reduction implicit in the splitting allows a direct approach to clustering raw daily energy time series *** intraday clustering procedure sequentially identifies representative hourly day-unit profiles for each customer and the entire *** the first time,a step function approach is applied to reduce time series *** attributes embedded in surveys are employed to build external clustering validation metrics using Cramer’s V correlation factors and to identify statistically significant determinants of load-shape in energy *** addition,a time series features engineering approach is used to extract 16 relevant demand flexibility indicators that characterize customers and corresponding clusters along four different axes:available energy(e),temporal patterns(t),Consistency(C),and Variability(V).the methodology is implemented on a real-world electricity consumption dataset of 325 Small and Medium-sized enterprise(SMe)customers,identifying 4 daily and 6 hourly easy-to-interpret,well-defined *** application of the methodology includes selecting key parameters via grid search and a thorough comparison of clustering distances and methods to ensure the robustness of the *** research can test the scalability of the methodology to larger datasets from various customer segments(households and large commercial)and locations with different weather and socioeconomic conditio

BACKGROUnD Atypical optic neuritis,consisting of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders(nMOSD)or myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disease(MOGAD),has a very similar presentation but different prognostic implications and longterm management *** and metabolic factors are being thought to play a role in such autoimmune neuro-inflammatory disorders,apart from the obvious immune mediated *** the advent of optical coherence tomography angiography(OCtA),it is easy to pick up on these subclinical macular microvascular and structural *** to study the macular microvascular and structural changes on OCtA in atypical optic *** this observational cross-sectional study involved 8 nMOSD and 17 MOGAD patients,diagnosed serologically,as well as 10 healthy *** vascular density(MVD)and ganglion cell+inner plexiform layer thickness(GCIPL)were studied using *** there was a significant reduction in MVD in nMOSD and MOGAD affected as well as unaffected eyes when compared with healthy *** and MOGAD affected eyes had significant GCIPL thinning compared with healthy *** unaffected eyes did not show significant GCIPL thinning compared to healthy controls in contrast to MOGAD unaffected *** comparing nMOSD with MOGAD,there was no significant difference in terms of MVD or GCIPL in the affected or unaffected *** Although significant microvascular and structural changes are present on OCtA between atypical optic neuritis and normal patients,they could not help in differentiating between nMOSD and MOGAD cases.

the age at which a woman enters natural menopause has also been associated to death from any cause. Menopause is a natural component of aging that happens between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average menopausal age being 51. Previous research has revealed the age at which women reach menopause, but there is no evidence to support the link between menopause and longevity. We made a study in assessing the limits of maximum lifespan at menopausal age in our previous article. In this paper, we aim to predict the maximum lifespan of women at mean menopausal age.

BACKGROUnD Gamification,the use of game materials in education,has been used in several scientific fields,and studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in student *** to evaluate whether the success of 4th-and 5th-grade dentistry students increases when using the gamification applications Kahoot!and *** An experimental design was used to measure the effect of gamification applications on students who were taught using the traditional *** this purpose,Mentimeter and Kahoot!applications were used in this experimental *** groups of 4th-and 5th-grade students were formed:Mentimeter,Kahoot!,and control *** effect of gamification applications on achievement was evaluated by administering a post-test to these groups after the instructional ***-way analysis of variance and t-tests were used for statistical *** A total of 35.5%of the students were in the Mentimeter group,29.8%in the Kahoot!group,and 34.6%in the control *** the total number of students,54.8%were female and 45.2%were male,while 52.2%were 5th-grade students and 47.8%were 4th-grade *** overall grade point average was found to be 66.65(range,24-100).there was a statistically significant difference in average success scores between students of different groups(P=0.003nd grades(P=0.036the average success score was the highest in the Mentimeter group(71.64)and the lowest in the Kahoot!group(62.15).In the control group,this score was *** average success score was higher for students in the 5thgrade(68.16)and for female students(68.84).COnCLUSIOn Gamification has a great potential in the education of dentomaxillofacial radiology *** outperformed both the Kahoot!and the traditional method in terms of average student success rates.

Objective:to study the ZeB2, AnnexinA2 and latent membrane protein 2A (LMP2A) expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and their correlation with prognosis and malignant ***: Patients who underwent local tissue biopsy under nasopharyngeal fiberscope in Xuhui Dahua Hospital between March 2015 and February 2018 were selected as the research subjects, and the pathological results of biopsy were referred to enroll the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma into nasopharyngeal carcinoma group and enroll those with nasal mucosal inflammation into control group of the research. the biopsy tissue was collected to detect the mRnA expression of ZeB2, AnnexinA2, LMP2A and malignant molecules related to proliferation and ***: ZeB2, AnnexinA2, LMP2A,β-catenin, CyclinD1, iASPP, n-cadherin, PARP-1 and MMP9 mRnA expression in tumor tissue of nasopharyngeal carcinoma group were significantly higher than those in rhinitis mucosa tissue of control group whereas RASSF1A, p21WAF1, e-cadherin, IFR5 and tIMP1 mRnA expression were significantly lower than those in rhinitis mucosa tissue of control group;ZeB2, AnnexinA2 and LMP2A mRnA expression in tumor tissue of nasopharyngeal carcinoma group were positively correlated withβ-catenin, CyclinD1, iASPP, n-cadherin, PARP-1 and MMP9, and negatively correlated with RASSF1A, p21WAF1, e-cadherin, IFR5 and ***:the high expression of ZeB2, AnnexinA2 and LMP2A in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue is closely related to the changes of tumor staging and malignant molecule expression.

With increasing age,humans become more susceptible to the onset of neurodegenerative diseases(nDs),and among these,Alzheimer's disease(AD)is the most frequent(nicoletti et al.,2023).nDs are primarily characterized by neuronal loss and atrophy,but also by lesions involving the cerebral and/or cardiovascular system(Balistreri,2021).Lesions such as macroinfa rcts,microinfarcts,hemorrhages,white matter lesions,atherosclerosis,and arteriolosclerosis have also been significantly described in the preclinical stages of cognitive impairment characterizing nDs(Mariani et al.,2007).
