Research in dermatology is exploring bio-compatible materials like alginate and calcium sulphate for use in skincare products, such as facial sheet masks. Alginate (from seaweed) has wound healing and hydr.tion properties, while calcium assists in maintaining skin balance and protection. In this study we explore the effects of an algae-calcium based sheet mask on skin. Materials and Methods: In-vitro studies investigated the purpose, process and effectiveness of an algae-calcium dr. sheet mask (Algae Mask-MedSkin Solutions dr. Suwelack). The mask is made from brown algae and undergoes a lyophilization and stabilization process to form its final structure. The mask’s properties were tested using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and its performance was assessed on human skin biopsies. Various tests were performed, such as measuring the release of ionic constituents and concentration of calcium ions, and the fibroblast cell-activating effect. Clinical evaluations and skin microbiome assessment were conducted on healthy volunteers to assess the mask’s effect on the skin. Results and Conclusion: The study validates the benefits of macro algae-based sheet masks for skincare, with significant cosmetic effects and high tolerance due to its composition. Notably, the algae based mask releases substantial calcium ions, hydr.tes, minimizes skin roughness and wrinkles, regulates pH levels, and maintains skin microbiome diversity. It also decreases Corynebacterium species found on the skin, suggesting potential to modify skin microbiome. .

Specimens of Pb1-1.5xLax（Zr0.53 Ti0.47）1-y-zFeyNb2O3 （x = 0, 0.004, 0.008, 0.012, and 0.016, y = z = 0.01）（PZTFN） ceramics were synthesized by a semi-wet route. In the present study, the effect of La doping was investigated on the structural, microstructural, dielectric, piezoelectric, and ferroelectric properties of the ceramics. The results show that, the tetragonal （space group P4mm） and rhombohedr.l （space group R3c） phases are observed to coexist in the sample at x = 0.012. Microstructural investigations of all the samples reveal that La doping inhibits grain growth. Doping of La into PZTFN improves the dielectric, ferroelectric, and piezoelectric properties of the ceramics. The hys- teresis loops of all specimens exhibit nonlinear behavior. The dielectric, piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties show a maximum response atx 〉 0.012, which corresponds to the morphotropic phase boundary （MPB）.

To investigate the improvement in the fatigue strength of magnesium alloy by peening methods,magnesium alloy AZ31 was treated by submerged laser peening(SLP),cavitation peening(CP),and shot peening(SP),and the fatigue properties were evaluated by a plane bending fatigue *** the case of SLP,both the impact induced by laser ablation(LA)and that caused by laser cavitation(LC),which developed after LA,were *** the present study,the fatigue life at a constant bending stress was examined to determine the suitable *** was found that the fatigue strengths at N=10^(7)for the SLP,CP,and SP specimens treated by each optimum condition were 56%,18%,and 16%higher,respectively,than that of the non-peened(NP)specimen,which was 97 *** key factors in the improvement of fatigue strength by peening methods were work hardening and the introduction of compressive residual stress.

Sr^2＋ modified polycrystalline PZT-PMN ceramics were synthesized by a semi-wet route. Impedance spectroscopy studies indicate the bulk and grain boundary effects of PZT-PMN material along with the negative temperature coefficient of resistance. The bulk conductiv-ity exhibits an Arrhenius-type thermally activated hopping process which is supported by the AC conductivity behavior as a function of fre-quency and temperature. It is observed that the remnant polarization increases with an increase in the Sr2＋content in PZT-PMN.

A series of novel ethyl-7-（（1-（benzyl）-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl）methoxy）-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carboxylates 8a-h as potential antifungal agents were synthesized via click chemistry. The antifungal activity was evaluated against five human pathogenic fungal strains, such as Candida albicans, Fusarium oxysporum, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger and Cryptococcus neoformans. Compound 8c, 8d, 8e and 8h were found to be equipotent against C. albicans when compared with miconazole and compound 8f was found to be two-fold more active compared with miconazole and equipotent to fluconazole against ***. The coumarin-based triazole derivatives were also evaluated for antioxidant activity and compound 8a was found to be potent antioxidant when compared with standard dr.g. Furthermore,molecular docking study of the newly synthesized compounds was performed and results showed good binding mode in the active site of fungal C. albicans enzyme P450 cytochrome lanosterol 14 ademethylase. Moreover, the synthesized compounds were also analyzed for ADME properties and showed potential to build up as good oral dr.g candidates.

During the production period of shale gas, proppant particles and rock debris are produced together,which will seriously erode the elbows of gathering pipelines. In response to this problem, this paper takes the elbow of the gathering pipeline in the Changning Shale Gas Field as an example to test the erosion rate and material removal mechanism of the test piece at different angles of the elbow through experiments and compares the four erosion models with the experimental results. Through analysis, it is found that the best prediction model for quartz sand-carbon steel erosion is the Oka model. Based on the Oka model, FLUENT software was used to simulate and analyze the law of erosion of the elbow of the gas gathering pipeline under different gas flow velocities, gas gathering pressure, particle size, length of L1,and bending directions of the elbow. And a spiral pipeline structure is proposed to reduce the erosion rate of the elbow under the same working conditions. The results show that this structure can reduce erosion by 34%.
