Polarization conversion and beam scanning metasurfaces are commonly used to reduce polarization mismatch and direct electromagnetic waves in a specific direction to improve the strength of a wireless ***,identifying suitable active and mechanically reconfigurable metasurfaces for polarization conversion and beam scanning is a considerable challenge,and the reported metasurfaces have narrow scanning ranges,are expensive,and cannot be independently *** this paper,we propose a reconfigurable transmissive metasurface combined with a scissor and rotation actuator for independently controlling beam scanning and polarization conversion *** metasurface is constructed with rotatable unit cells(UCs)that can switch the polarization state between right-handed(RHCP)and left-handed circular polarization(LHCP)by flipping the UCs to reverse their phase ***,independent beam scanning is achieved using the scissor actuator to linearly change the distance between the *** and experimental results confirm that the proposed metasurface can perform beam scanning in the range of 28°for both the positive and negative regions of a radiation pattern(RHCP and LHCP beams)at an operational frequency of 10.5 GHz.

In recent years,sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have emerged as a promising technology for energy storage systems(ESSs)because of the abundance and affordability of ***,metal selenides have been studied as promising high-performance conversion-type anode materials in *** them,nickel se-lenide(NiSe_(2))has received considerable attention due to its high theoretical capacity of 495 mAh g^(-1)and ***,it still suffers from poor cycling stability because of the low electrochemical reactivity,large volume expansion,and structural instability during *** address these challenges,NiSe_(2)nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped graphitic carbon fibers(NiSe_(2)@NGCF)were synthesized by using ZIF-8 as a ***_(2)@NGCF showed a high discharge capacity of 558.3 mAh g^(-1)with a fading rate of 0.14%per cycle after 200 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1)in 0.01-3.0 *** a very high current density of 5 A g^(-1),the capacity still displayed excellent long-term cycle life with a discharge capacity of 406.1 mAh g^(-1)with a fading rate of 0.016%per cycle after 3000 *** mechanism of the excellent electrochem-ical performance of NiSe_(2)@NGCF was thoroughly investigated by ex-situ XRD,TEM,and SEM ***,NiSe_(2)@NGCF//Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)full-cell also delivered an excellent reversible capacity of 378.7 mAh g^(−1)at 0.1 A g^(−1)after 50 cycles,demonstrating its potential for practical application in SIBs.

The superplastic behavior and associated deformation mechanisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of the BCCβphase and a small amount of the HCPαphase,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** microstructural refinement of this alloy was achieved by employing high-ratio differential speed *** best superplasticity was achieved at 523 K and at strain rates of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),where tensile elongations of 550±600%were *** the heating and holding stage of the tensile samples prior to tensile loading,a significant increase in grain size was observed at temperatures above 573 ***,it was important to consider this effect when analyzing and understanding the superplastic deformation behavior and *** the investigated strain rate range,the superplastic flow at low strain rates was governed by lattice diffusion-controlled grain boundary sliding,while at high strain rates,lattice diffusion-controlled dislocation climb creep was the rate-controlling deformation *** was concluded that solute drag creep is unlikely to *** the late stages of deformation at 523 K,it was observed that grain boundary sliding led to the agglomeration of theαphase,resulting in significant strain *** mechanism maps were constructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys in the form of 2D and 3D formats as a function of strain rate,stress,temperature,and grain size,using the constitutive equations for various deformation mechanisms derived based on the data of the current tests.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the analgesic effects of Tuina on neuropathic pain(NPP) and the underlying mechanisms. METHODS: Forty-eight Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were assigned by random into three treatment groups: sham, chronic constriction injury(CCI), and Tuina. Each group contained sixteen rats. CCI model was generated by ligating the right sciatic nerve. Behavioral changes of CCI were assessed by the paw withdrawal threshold(PWT) and paw withdrawal latency(PWL). In addition, biochemical techniques such as immunofluorescence staining, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and Western blotting were used to profile levels of microglia activation and inflammatory factors in the spinal dorsal horn(SDH) of rats. Tuina(clockwise pressing and rubbing) was performed at Chengshan(BL57) to observe the analgesic effects on CCI rats and the underlying mechanisms. RESULTS: Rats with CCI experienced significant reduction in the PWT and PWL of the right hind paw relative to CCI group at day 3. Tuina treatment rescued this situation significantly on days 10 and 14. Besides, Iba-1, microglia M1 receptor CD68, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and interleukin-1β(IL-1β) were higher in the right SDH for CCI group compared to the sham group on day 14. As expected, Tuina partially downregulated the CCI-induced overexpressed Iba-1, CD68, TNF-α, and IL-1β in the SDH of CCI model. CONCLUSION: Tuina induces a time-dependent cumulative analgesic effect in CCI rats by inhibiting the activation of microglia and the secretion of IL-1β and TNF-α in SDH.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the effect and mechanism of Sanhua Tang(三化汤, SHT) in treating ischemic stroke(IS) through the "Kaitong Xuanfu" theory by using network pharmacology and animal experiments. METHODS: The active ingredients and targets of SHT and IS were screened by public databases such as Traditional Chinese medicine systems pharmacology, GeneCards, and online mendelian inheritance in man. Visual network topographies were constructed using R, Cytoscape 3.6.0, AutoDockTools, a user-sponsored molecular visualization system on an open-source foundation, and other software to analyze the correlation between targets and active ingredients. The middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) model was established by operation. Animals were divided into the Sham group, MCAO group(M group), aloe-emodin(AE) group(MCAO rats treated with aloe-emodin), SHT at low dosage(SL group)(MCAO rats treated with SL), SHT at medium dosage(SM group), and SHT at high dosage(SH group). 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride staining was used to detect the volume of cerebral infarction; Nissl staining was used to observe the morphology of neuronal cells; transmission electron microscopy was used to observe the integrity of the blood-brain barrier(BBB); enzymelinked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the content of interleukin-6(IL-6), IL-10, tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α) in serum. Western blot was used to detect the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA) protein in the cerebral ischemic penumbra. RESULTS: Using network pharmacology and molecular docking validation, four active ingredients(lignan, naringenin, aloe-rhodopsin, and β-sitosterol), seven target proteins(protein kinase b 1, IL-6, TNF, VEGFA, TP53, jun proto-oncogene, and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase 3), and inflammatory signaling pathways were identified. OBJECTIVE: To explore the mechanism of Xianglian Huazhuo formula( 香连化浊方, XLHZ) blocking the development of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG) to gastric cancer(GC) through bioinformatics analysis and in vitro. METHODS: Pathological morphology of gastric mucosa of rats were observed. High-throughput sequencing was used to analyze the miRNA expression profile of gastric mucosa. The miRanda, miRDB and miRWalk databases were used to predict the differential target genes. Gene Ontology(GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) enrichment analysis were performed for differential target genes. Real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qRTPCR) was used to verify the differentially expressed miRNAs and target genes. Western blot, EdU, wound healing and flow cytometry were used to observe the effect of XLHZ on epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) markers, proliferation, migration, apoptosis and cell cycle of CAG cells in vitro. RESULTS: A total of five differentially expressed miRNAs and four differential target genes were screened in this study. GO analysis showed that the target genes were enriched in regulation of neuron development, regulation of transcription factor activity and regulation of RNA polymerase. KEGG pathways database differences in gene enrichment of target genes in the Wnt signaling pathway, Phospholipase D signaling pathway and mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway. qRTPCR confirmed that miRNAs and its target genes were consistent with the screening results. In vitro, our study revealed that XLHZ could increase the expression of Ecadherin, decrease the expression of transforming growth factor β1, vimentin and β-catenin, inhibite the proliferation and migration of CAG cells, cause cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 and G2/M phase, induce the apoptosis of CAG cells, and prevent the progression of CAG to GC. Background:The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(K-NAFLD)score was recently developed with the intent to operationally define nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).However,there remained an external validation that confirmed its diagnostic performance,especially in patients with alcohol consumption or hepatitis virus ***:Diagnostic accuracy of the K-NAFLD score was evaluated in a hospital-based cohort consisting of 1388 participants who received Fibroscan®.Multivariate-adjusted logistic regression models and the contrast estimation of receiver operating characteristic curves were used for validation of the K-NAFLD score,fatty liver index(FLI),and hepatic steatosis index(HSI).Results:K-NAFLD-moderate[adjusted odds ratio(aOR)=2.53,95%confidence interval(CI):1.13-5.65]and K-NAFLD-high(aOR=4.14,95%CI:1.69-10.13)groups showed higher risks of fatty liver compared to the K-NAFLD-low group after adjustments for demographic and clinical characteristics,and FLI-moderate and FLI-high groups revealed aORs of 2.05(95%CI:1.22-3.43)and 1.51(95%CI:0.78-2.90),*** addition,the HSI was less predictive for Fibroscan®-defined fatty *** K-NAFLD and FLI also demonstrated high accuracy in the prediction of fatty liver in patients with alcohol consumption and chronic hepatitis virus infection,and the adjusted area under curve values were comparable between K-NAFLD and ***:Externally validation of the K-NAFLD and FLI showed that these scores may be a useful,noninvasive,and non-imaging modality for the identification of fatty *** addition,these scores also predicted fatty liver in patients with alcohol consumption and chronic hepatitis virus infection.
