Stepwise Pyrolysis by LBCR Downstream to Enhance of Gasoline Fraction of Liquid Fuel from MMSW

Pyrolysis is one of the thermal cracking methods to convert hydrocarbon to liquid *** quantity and quality of the process are dependent on several condition including temperature,reaction time,catalyst,and the type of ***,a gasoline fraction was maximum product to be considered in the pyrolisis ***,this study aims to increase the gasoline fraction in liquid fuel using stepwise pyrolysis with a long bed catalytic reactor downstream(LBCR).The LBCR downstream was equipped with the top and bottom outlet and the fed source was mixed municipal solid waste(MMSW).The activated natural dolomite at 500℃ was used to allow the repetition of the secondary ***,the reactor temperature was setup at around 200℃-300℃ and the pyrolizer was 400℃.To analyze the gasoline fraction and physical properties of liquid fuel,Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy(GC-MS)and ASTM standard were *** experimental results showed there was a significant increase in the gasoline fraction of liquid fuels compared to using direct catalytic cracking and absence of *** using a LBCR at 250℃,the liquid fuel obtained at top outlet(TO)and bottom outlet(BO)have 84.08 and 56.94 percent peak area of gasoline fraction(C5-C12),*** average value(TO and BO)of the fraction at 250℃ by LBCR was 70.51 percent peak area and it was increased by about 93.6%and 51.14%compared to without catalyst and direct catalytic,***,pyrolytic liquid oils were found to have kinematic viscosity of 2.979 and 0.789 cSt,density of 0.781 and 0.782 g/cm^(3),and flash point<−5℃ for BO-250 and TO-250 liquid fuel,*** results showed BO liquid fuel was comparable to diesel conventional fuel while TO liquid fuel was comparable to ***,the presence of LBCR made a major contribution to generate multi secondary cracking and to produce more gasoline fraction from mixed MMSW feedstock,as well as to increase the physical properties of l

Microcrystalline cellulose(MCC)is one of the cellulose derivatives produced as a result of the depolymerization of a part of cellulose to achieve high *** implemented in other polymers,high crystallinity correlates with greater strength and stiffnes,but it can reduce the water-holding *** acid concentration and hydrolysis time will affect the acquisition of crystallinity and water absorption capacity,both of which have significance as properties of hydrogel *** study aimed to evaluate the properties and select the MCC generated from varying the proportion of hydrochloric acid(HCl)and the appropriate hydrolysis time as a filler for film *** was produced by hydrolyzing cellulose of oil palm empty fruit bunches(OPEFB)with the HCl solution at varied concentrations and *** results show that the longer hydrolysis times and higher HCl concentrations increase crystallinity and density while lowering yield and water *** extensive acid hydrolysis reduces the amorphous area significantly,allowing the depolymerization to occur and extend the crystalline *** morphological properties of the MCC,which are smaller but compact,indicate the presence of disintegrating and diminishing structures.A 2.5 N HCl concentration and a 45-min hydrolysis time succeed in sufficient crystallinity as well as maintaining good water absorption *** treatment produced MCC with absorption capacity of 4.03±0.26 g/g,swelling capacity of 5.03±0.26 g/g,loss on drying of 1.44%±0.36,bulk and tapped density of 0.27±0.031 g/cm^(3) and 0.3±0.006 g/cm^(3),respectively,with a crystallinity index of 88.89%±4.76 and a crystallite size of 4.23±0.70 *** MCC generated could potentially be utilized as a hydrogel film filler,since a given proportion will be able to maintain the strength of the hydrogel,not readily dissolve but absorb water significantly.

New drug delivery system for liver sinusoidal endothelial cells for ischemia-reperfusion injury

AIM: To investigate the cytoprotective effects in hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury, we developed a new formulation of hyaluronic acid(HA) and sphingosine ***: We divided Sprague-Dawley rats into 4 groups: control, HA, sphingosine 1-phosphate(S1P), and HA-S1 P. After the administration of each agent, we subjected the rat livers to total ischemia followed by reperfusion. After reperfusion, we performed the following investigations: alanine aminotransferase(ALT), histological findings, Td T-mediated d UTP-biotin nick end labeling(TUNEL) staining, and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). We also investigated the expressionof proteins associated with apoptosis, hepatoprotection, and S1 P accumulation. RESULTS: S1 P accumulated in the HA-S1 P group livers more than S1 P group livers. Serum ALT levels, TUNEL-positive hepatocytes, and expression of cleaved caspase-3 expression, were significantly decreased in the HA-S1 P group. TEM revealed that the liver sinusoidal endothelial cell(LSEC) lining was preserved in the HA-S1 P group. Moreover, the HA-S1 P group showed a greater increase in the HO-1 protein levels compared to the S1 P ***: Our results suggest that HA-S1 P exhibits cytoprotective effects in the liver through the inhibition of LSEC apoptosis. HA-S1 P is an effective agent for hepatic ischemia/reperfusion injury.

Logit regression analysis is widely applied in scientific studies and laboratory experiments, where skewed observations on a data set are often encountered. A number of problems with this method, for example, oudiers and influential observations, can cause overdispersion when a model is fitted. In this study a systematic statistical approach, including the plotting of several indices is used to diagnose the lack-of-fit of a logistic regression model. The outliers and influential observations on data from laboratory experiments are then detected. Specifically we take account of the interaction of an internal sohtary wave （ISW） with an obstacle, i.e., an underwater ridge, and also analyze the effects of the ridge height, the lower layer water depth, and the potential energy on the amplitude-based transmission rate of the ISW. As concluded, the goodness-of-fit of the revised logit regression model is better than that of the model without this approach.

Qualitative analysis of catechins from green tea GMB-4 clone using HPLC and LC-MS/MS

Objective:To identify the bioactive compounds in catechins isolation and its components from green tea GMB-4 ***:Green tea GMB-4 clones were extracted with distilled water at *** were eluted into the column with 10%***,the column was eluted with95%ethanol and evaporated *** tea extract was identified by thin layer *** were separated by the stationary phase in column chromatography using polyamide with 10%ethanol eluent and 95%*** results of isolations were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatographic(HPLC)and LCMS/*** of catechins by HPLC was done by external ***:Fraction from 10%ethanol showed that four major peaks at retention time of1.663,2.367,2.950 and 4.890,indicated the presence of four catechins components including catechin,epicatechins,gallocatechin and ***,fraction from 95%ethanol showed two main peaks at retention time of 5.167 and 9.82,which indicated the presence of epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)and epicatechin gallate(ECG).EGCG(m/z 459),epigallocatechin(m/z 307),ECG(m/z 443),and epicatechin(m/z 291)were isolated and separated successfully using HPLC and LC-MS/***:The HPLC and LC-MS/MS methods were successfully tuned for the qualitative analysis of green tea extract with EGCG and *** major catechins were separated and identified by LC-MS/MS,such as EGCG,epigallocatechin,ECG and *** result of HPLC analysis showed that EGCG and ECG were main components from catechins isolation of green tea GMB-4 clone.

Fundamental experiments were carried out in a wave flume on internal solitary wave （ISW） of depression-type propagating over a submerged ridge. The seabed ridge included either triangular or semicircular shape - regarded as topographic obstacles. Influenced by the submarine ridge, the transmitted waves were found to always consist of a leading pulse （a solitary wave） followed by a dispersive wave train. The wave profile propagating over a triangular ridge was similar to that caused by a semicircular obstacle. Apparently, the smooth face of a semicircular ridge produced time lag of wave propagation. From experimental results available, the reduction in wave energy induced by a semicircular ridge was larger than that by a triangular one. The events of wave distortion, strong breaking, internal bolus, and stratification mixing happened in case that the crest of an ISW was great enough to interact with the topographic obstacle. The reduction in wave energy was induced by strong breaking, and it depended on the ridge height rather than the geometric shape of the ridge.

Optimal Location to Use Solar Energy in an Urban Situation

This study conducted in Lima, Peru, a combination of spatial decisionmaking system and machine learning was utilized to identify potentialsolar power plant construction sites within the city. Sundial measurementsof solar radiation, precipitation, temperature, and altitude were collectedfor the study. Gene Expression programming (GEP), which is based on theevolution of intelligent models, and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) wereboth utilized in this investigation, and the results obtained from each werecompared. Eighty percent of the data was utilized during the training phase,while the remaining twenty percent was utilized during the testing phase. Onthe basis of the findings, it was determined that the GEP is the most suitablenetwork for predicting the location. The test state’s Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE) was 0.90, and its root-mean-square error (RMSE) was 0.04. Followingthe generation of the final map based on the results of the GEP model, itwas determined that 9.2% of the province’s study area is suitable for theconstruction of photovoltaic solar power plants, while 53.5% is acceptable and37.3% is unsuitable. The ANN model reveals that only 1.7% of the study areais suitable for the construction of photovoltaic solar power plants, while 66.8%is acceptable and 31.5% is unsuitable.

Financial market model based on self-organized percolation

Starting with the self-organized evolution of the trader group’s structure, a parsimonious percolation model for stock market is established, which can be considered as a kind of betterment of the Cont-Bouchaud model. The return distribution of the present model obeys Lévy form in the center and displays fat-tail property, in accord with the styl-ized facts observed in real-life financial time series. Fur-thermore, this model reveals the power-law relationship be-tween the peak value of the probability distribution and the time scales, in agreement with the empirical studies on the Hang Seng Index.
