High-excited-state splitting and multimode vibrational coupling in Mn^(4+)-activated fluoride phosphor

Excited-states play a crucial role in the optical absorption and luminescence of solids and hence their accurate information is highly desired. Herein, we attempt to seize the excited-states information of Mn^(4+)ions in K_(2)SiF_(6) microcrystals via measuring and calculating their variable-temperature photoluminescence excitation(PLE) spectra. At cryogenic temperatures, an unpredicted splitting of the high-excited-state is observed. Moreover, the two-split high-excited-state levels are further revealed to primarily couple with the two hyperfine split modes of quasi-localized ν2 vibration in the distorted Mn-F_(6) octahedral configuration,whereas the coupling strengths are found to be substantially different from each other. The slightly split vibrational mode is firmly supported by the low-temperature Raman spectra. Jahn-Teller lattice distortion is believed to be responsible for the observed splitting of the electronic high-excited-state and the quasi-localized vibrational mode.

This study proposes an approach of leveraging information gathered from multiple traffic data sources at different resolutions to obtain approximate inference on the traffic distribution of Chicago's O'Hare Airport ***,it proposes the ingestion of traffic datasets at different resolutions to build spatiotemporal models for predicting the distribution of traffic volume on the road *** to its good adaptability and flexibility for spatiotemporal data,the Gaussian process(GP)regression was employed to provide short-term forecasts using data collected by loop detectors(sensors)and supplemented by telematics *** GP regression is used to make predictions of the distribution of the proportion of sensor data traffic volume represented by the telematics data for each location of the ***,the fitted GP model can be used to determine the approximate traffic distribution for a testing location outside of the training *** in the transportation sector can find the results of this work helpful for making informed decisions relating to current and future transportation conditions in the area.

To develop porous organic frameworks,precise control of the stacking manner of two-dimensional porous motifs and structural characterization of the resultant framework are *** these points of view,porous molecular crystals formed through reversible intermolecular hydrogen bonds,such as;hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks(HOFs),can provide deep insight because of their high crystallinity,affording single-crystalline X-ray diffraction *** this study,we demonstrate that the stacking manner of hydrogen-bonded hexagonal network(HexNet)sheets can be controlled by synchronizing a homological triangular macrocyclic tecton and a hydrogen-bonded cyclic supramolecular synthon called the phenylene triangle.A structure of the resultant HOF was crystallographically characterized and revealed to have a large channel aperture of 2.4 *** HOF also shows thermal stability up to 290°C,which is higher than that of the conventional HexNet frameworks.

Phosphorus(P) levels alter the allelopathic activity of rice seedlings against lettuce seeds. In this study, we investigated the effect of P deficiency on the allelopathic potential of non-pigmented and pigmented rice varieties. Rice seedlings of the white variety Khao Dawk Mali(KDML105, non-pigmented) and the black varieties Jao Hom Nin(JHN, pigmented) and Riceberry(RB, pigmented) were cultivated under high P(HP) and low P(LP) conditions. Morphological and metabolic responses to P deficiency were investigated. P deficiency inhibited shoot growth but promoted root growth of rice seedlings in all three varieties. Moreover, P deficiency led to decreased cytosolic phosphate(Pi) and total P concentrations in both shoot and root tissues. The subsequent reduction in internal P concentration enhanced the accumulation of phenolic compounds in both shoot and root tissues of the seedlings. Subsequently, allelopathy-based inter-and intra-specific interactions were assessed using water extracts from seedlings of the three varieties grown under HP and LP conditions. These extracts were tested on seeds of lettuce, the weed Dactyloctenium aegyptium, and the same rice variety. The shoot and root extracts from P-deficient seedlings reduced the germination of all recipient plants. Specifically, the shoot extract from P-deficient KDML105 seedlings reduced the germination index(GI) of lettuce seeds to 1%, while those from P-deficient RB and JHN seedlings produced GIs of 32% and 42%, respectively. However, when rice seeds were exposed to their own LP shoot and root extracts, their GIs increased up to 4-fold, compared with the HP extracts. Additionally, the shoot extracts from P-deficient plants also stimulated the germination of D. aegyptium by about 2–3-fold, whereas the root extracts did not have this effect. Therefore, P starvation led to the accumulation and exudation of phenolics in the shoots and roots of rice seedlings, altering their allelopathic activities. To adapt to P defici

Capsicum is a nutritious vegetable and its cultivation in farms is getting popular in Bangladesh. Although many efforts have lain to explore better yielding and nutritionally rich cultivars with suitable modern cultivation techniques but still have to find the desired outcome. Thus, it’s necessary to conduct further research to identify the high-yielding and nutritious capsicum cultivars in Bangladesh. An experiment was conducted from July 2021 to June 2022 at the Bangladesh Institute of Research and Training on applied Nutrition (BIRTAN) research field with three cultivars of capsicum: B0 = California Wonder, B1 = BARI Misti Morich-1 and B2 = BARI Misti Morich-2 and three mulching: T0 = No mulching, T1 = Water hyacinth, T2 = Poly Mulching in randomized complete block design with three replications to identify better quality capsicum cultivar and suitable mulching material. Among cultivars the BARI Misti Morich-2 (B2) showed increased agronomic parameters like number of branches and effective branches per plant, leaves length and width, consequently yield and yield contributing traits were also enhanced like fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter and yield per plant (25.97%, 4.54%, 3.64% and 21.43%, respectively). Poly Mulching (T2) increased agronomic traits, yield traits and yield (0.61 kg) than BARI Misti Morich-1 (T1). The combined effect of B2T2 increased the number of branches per plant, effective branches per plant, leaves length and breadth by 40%, 90%, 15.57% and 26.22%, respectively, hence resulting in an increased yield of 20%. BARI Misti Morich-2 cultivar showed an increase in Fe, Zn and Vitamin-C content of 26.24% and 23.10%, 8.82% and 5.14%, and 6.03% and 5.74% than B0 and B1 cultivars, respectively. OBJECTIVE： This study aims to investigate the relationship between major signal points （MaSPs） of the lower extremities used in court-type thai traditional massage （CTTM） and the corresponding underlying anatomical structures, as well as to determine the short-term changes in blood flow and skin temperature of volunteers experiencing CTTM. METHODS： MaSPs were identified and marked on cadavers before acrylic color was injected. The underlying structures marked with acrylic colors were observed and the anatomical structures were determined. Then, pressure was applied to each MaSP in human volunteers （lateral side of leg and medial side of leg） and blood flow on right dorsalis pedis artery was measured using duplex ultrasound while skin temperature changes were monitored using an infrared themographic camera. RESULTS： Short-term changes in the blood flow parameters, volume flow and average velocity, compared to baseline （P 〈 0.05）, were observed on MaSP of the lower extremity, ML4. Changes in the peak systolic velocity of the area ML5 were also observed relative to baseline. The skin temperature of two different MaSPs on the lateral side of leg （LL4 and LL5） and four on the medial side of leg （ML2, ML3, ML4 and ML5） was significantly increased （P 〈 0.05） at 1 rain after pressure application. CONCLUSION： This study established the clear correlation between the location of MaSP, as defined in CTTM, and the underlying anatomical structures. The effect of massage can stimulate skin blood flow because results showed increased skin temperature and blood flow characteristics. While these results were statistically significant, they may not be clinically relevant, as the present study focused on the immediate physiological effect of manipulation, rather than treatment effects. Thus, this study will serve as baseline data for further clinical studies in CTTM
