Functional Contentment Model: Optimizing Quality of Life for Nursing Home Residents with Dementia

＜正＞Introduction The UN has recognised the need to involve local communities in governance processes and is actively examining the use of new communications technologies to improve local participation in governance structures（Karamagioli,2005）.Unfortunately the UN Communication Group which developed inter-agency communications and public information policy in 2002,did not consider the role of internet media in encouraging participation of ordinary people in policy *** director of the News and Media division of the UN department of Public Information,saw the department’s new broadcast initiatives as enhancing the UN’s capacity to reach audiences without going through international news agencies and media（UNCG-Accessed on 31 January 2006）.It has begun to use the internet for delivery of radio,web and television news and information."Connecting the People of the World to the United Nations"is the title of the radio site（UN Radio-Accessed on 9 January 2006）.It has so far not begun to represent and address the varied narratives of ordinary people,the intended beneficiaries of human security and development policies.

The Functional Contentment Model (FCM) attains two objectives: 1) building a relationship focused plan of care for nursing home residents diagnosed with dementia;and 2) maximizing and maintaining older adults’ contentment, peace, and happiness while living in dementia care environments. There are three essential components within the FCM: 1) Person/Family Centered Care;2) Slow Medicine;and 3) Team Care Management. The principles of “Person/Family-Centered Care” are coupled with the philosophy of “Slow Medicine,” and neither can exist without the engagement of “Team Care Management.” In short, the FCM maximizes the older adult’s potential functioning in activities of daily living, cognition, gross and fine motor skills, communication, and physical well-being, while maintaining the highest possible level of contentment, peace, and happiness. This is accomplished through dynamically utilized professional modalities adapted to the changing needs of the older adult resident—pharmacologic, physical and occupational therapies, family education and involvement, dietary, spiritual, stimulating activities, as well as any individualized modality. The lead for operationalizing the Functional Contentment Model is the nursing home medical director, whose key role is assuring a team approach to care including the older adult resident, the family, and all staff (dietary, housekeeping maintenance as well as care and administrative staff). The FCM is a culture change model that has implications in practice and policy for each nursing home.

Widespread catastrophic fog episodes in polluted northern India have been attributed to tropical cyclone activity in the Bay of Bengal&Arabian Sea;however,limited studies have been conducted on the effect of tropical cyclone intensity(’T’Numbers)on different fog characteristics in Indo Gangetic Basin,Northern *** this study,different characteristics,including persistence,intensity,and areal extension,were analyzed at the Indira Gandhi international Airport,New Delhi during 1998-99,2013-14,and 2016-17.A high-intensity tropical cyclone(Severe to Very Severe Cyclonic Storm)has been found to significantly increase the persistence,intensity,and areal extension of fog by inducing strong subsidence over the IGI Airport/Indo-Gangetic *** knowledge is vital for improving the short-term forecasting of fog in the IndoGangetic Basin of Northern India and will further support the Government agencies to take preventive safety measures and planning well in advance time.

This is a continuity of a series of taxonomic papers where materials are examined,described and novel combinations are proposed where necessary to improve our traditional species concepts and provide updates on their *** addition to extensive morphological descriptions and appropriate asexual and sexual connections,DNA sequence data are also analysed from concatenated datasets(rDNA,TEF-a,RBP2 and b-Tubulin)to infer phylogenetic relationships and substantiate systematic position of taxa within appropriate *** new species or combinations are being proposed,we apply an integrative approach(morphological and molecular data as well as ecological features wherever applicable).Notes on 125 fungal taxa are compiled in this paper,including eight new genera,101 new species,two new combinations,one neotype,four reference specimens,new host or distribution records for eight species and one alternative *** new genera introduced in this paper are Alloarthopyrenia,Arundellina,Camarosporioides,Neomassaria,Neomassarina,Neotruncatella,Paracapsulospora and *** new species are Alfaria spartii,Alloarthopyrenia italica,Anthostomella ravenna,***,Arthrinium paraphaeospermum,Arundellina typhae,Aspergillus koreanus,Asterina cynometrae,Bertiella ellipsoidea,Blastophorum aquaticum,Cainia globosa,Camarosporioides phragmitis,Ceramothyrium menglunense,Chaetosphaeronema achilleae,Chlamydotubeufia helicospora,Ciliochorella phanericola,Clavulinopsis aurantiaca,Colletotrichum insertae,Comoclathris italica,Coronophora myricoides,Cortinarius fulvescentoideus,***,***,***,Cunninghamella gigacellularis,Cyathus pyristriatus,Cytospora cotini,Dematiopleospora alliariae,***,Diaporthe aseana,***,Distoseptispora multiseptata,***,***,Dothiora buxi,Emericellopsis persica,Gloniopsis calami,Helicoma guttulatum,Helvella floriforma,***,Hermatomyces subiculosa,Ju
