microRNA-210(miR-210)has generally been reported to be associated with cell survival under ***,there are few data regarding the role of miR-210 in the survival of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)under oxidative stress ***,we sought to investigate whether miR-210 over-expression could protect MSCs against oxidative stress injury and what the primary mechanisms involved *** results showed that over-expression of miR-210 significantly reduced the apoptosis of MSCs under oxidative stress,accompanied by obvious increases in cell viability and superoxide dismutase activity and remarkable decreases in malonaldehyde content and reactive oxygen species production,resulting in a noticeable reduction of apoptotic indices when compared with the ***,the above beneficial effects of miR-210 could be significantly reduced by c-Met pathway ***,these results showed that miR-210 over-expression improved MSC survival under oxidative stress through antioxidation and c-Met pathway activation,indicating the potential development of a novel approach to enhance the efficacy of MSC-based therapy for injured myocardium.

Hepatitis due to hepatitis B virus(HBV) reactivation can be severe and potentially fatal, but is preventable. HBV reactivation is most commonly reported in patients receiving cancer chemotherapy, especially rituximabcontaining therapy for hematological malignancies and those receiving stem cell transplantation. All patients with hematological malignancies receiving anticancer therapy should be screened for active or resolved HBV infection by blood tests for hepatitis B surface antigen(HBs Ag) and antibody to hepatitis B core antigen(antiHBc). Patients found to be positive for HBs Ag should be given prophylactic antiviral therapy to prevent HBV reactivation. For patients with resolved HBV infection, no standard strategy has yet been established to prevent HBV reactivation. There are usually two options. One is pre-emptive therapy guided by serial HBV DNA monitoring, whereby antiviral therapy is given as soon as HBV DNA becomes detectable. However, there is little evidence regarding the optimal interval and period of monitoring. An alternative approach is prophylactic antiviral therapy, especially for patients receiving highrisk therapy such as rituximab, newer generation of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, obinutuzumab or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. This strategy may effectively prevent HBV reactivation and avoid the inconvenience of repeated HBV DNA monitoring. Entecavir or tenofovir are preferred over lamivudine as prophylactic therapy. Although there is no well-defined guideline on the optimal duration of prophylactic therapy, there is growing evidence to recommend continuing prophylactic antiviral therapy for at least 12 mo after cessation of chemotherapy, and even longer for those who receive rituximab or who had high serum HBV DNA levels before the start of immunosuppressive therapy. Objective： To study the expressive characteristics of SKP2 protein in lung carcinoma and its implication for prognosis. Methods： The expression of SKP2 protein was detected in 89 non small cell lung carcinoma, 13 small cell lung carcinoma, 10 lung benign lesion tissues by Tissue Chip and Immunohistochemistry technology. Results： The positive rate of SKP2 protein staining was （23.52±13.57）% in non small cell lung carcinoma and （53.85±12.26）% in small cell lung carcinoma, which were significantly higher than （2.91±1.27）% in lung benign lesion tissues. It was highest in small cell lung carcinoma and lowest in lung benign lesion tissues, with a significant difference between them （P=0.000）. The expressive level of SKP2 protein in lung carcinoma tissues was closely related to cell differentiation, lymph node metastasis and pathological types, but not to age, sex, smoking history, tumor site and size, and TNM staging. The survival analysis revealed that the 5-year survival rate of lung carcinoma patients was lower in SKP2 protein positive expression group than that in negative expression group （P1=0.003/0.002; r=-0.275, P2=0.005）. Conclusion. The positive expression of SKP2 protein is higher in lung carcinoma than in lung benign lesion tissues, in particular, much higher in small cell lung carcinoma. In lung carcinoma, its expressive level was closely related to cell differentiation, lymph node metastasis and pathological types. Moreover, it may be an independent factor to prognosis of patients with lung carcinoma.

Purpose:.To investigate the occurrence of corneal incision-induced astigmatism following small incision extracapsular cataract extraction through a superotemporal incision combined with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. Methods:.A total of 255 cases (301 eyes) who received small incision extracapsular cataract extraction through a superotemporal incision with IOL implantation in the Department of Ophthalmology, Yuyan district hospital of Guiyang were enrolled in this clinical trial..Postoperative best-corrected visual acuity and astigmatism were measured. The patients underwent 24-week follow-up. Results: In total, 166 patients (65.1%, 166 eyes) completed follow-up..Astigmatism gradually declined between 1 and 12-week postoperatively, and stabilized after 12 weeks. Among 166 patients,.125(75.3%).had astigmatism > 0.5 D at 24 weeks post-operatively,.showing mostly with-the-rule astigmatism. Visual acuity steadily improved up to 12 weeks, and tended to stabilize subsequently..Over the period of 24-week postoperatively,.visual acuity was negatively correlated with astigmatism (r=-0.691,P<0.05). Conclusion:Superotemporal small incision extracapsular extraction combined with IOL implantation is associated with modest astigmatism which declines over the post-operative period.

Objective： To observe the clinical effects of scraping method for preventing and treating bronchial asthma. Method： Thirty-eight cases were treated with scraping method on the Bladder Meridian once every 10-12 d, by follow up once every half a year, for 3 years continuously. The mean frequency of asthma acute attack was recorded every year. Result： The annual frequency of acute attack of asthma before scraping method was （2.3±1.3） times on average, and reduced to （0.6±0.4） times after scraping therapy. Conclusion： Scraping therapy can effectively prevent the attack of bronchial asthma.

AIM: To explore the effect of in vitro porcine esophageal variceal pressure on complete ligation degree for polycyclic ligators. METHODS: An in vitro model of experimental porcine venous vessels was used to test various venous pressures. Three treatment groups were designated according to the preset pressure range: P1 = 25-30 cm H2O; P2 = 35-40 cm H2O; P3 = 45-50 cm H2 O. The effect of pressure on ligation was assessed and compared among the groups. RESULTS: Complete ligation was achieved at a rate of 56.25%(18/32) in group P1, 37.5%(12/32) in group P2, and 33.33%(11/33) in group P3(χ2 = 3.6126; P = 0.0573). CONCLUSION: Higher variceal pressures impair the ligation completion rate. Therefore, measuring variceal pressure may help predict the effect of endoscopic ligation and guide treatment choice.
