Background:The role of surgery in metastatic breast cancer(MBC)is currently *** novel statistical and deep learning(DL)methods promise to infer the suitability of surgery at the individual ***:The objective of this study was to identify the most applicable DL model for determining patients with MBC who could benefit from surgery and the type of surgery ***:We introduced the deep survival regression with mixture effects(DSME),a semi-parametric DL model integrating three causal inference *** models were trained to make individualized treatment *** who received treatments in line with the DL models'recommendations were compared with those who underwent treatments divergent from the *** probability weighting(IPW)was used to minimize *** effects of various features on surgery selection were visualized and quantified using multivariate linear regression and causal ***:In total,5269 female patients with MBC were *** was an independent protective factor,outperforming other models in recommend-ing surgery(IPW-adjusted hazard ratio[HR]=0.39,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.19–0.78)and type of surgery(IPW-adjusted HR=0.66,95%CI:0.48–0.93).DSME was superior to other models and traditional guidelines,suggesting a higher proportion of patients benefiting from surgery,especially breast-conserving *** debiased effect of patient characteristics,including age,tumor size,metastatic sites,lymph node status,and breast cancer subtypes,on surgery decision was also ***:Our findings suggested that DSME could effectively identify patients with MBC likely to benefit from surgery and the specific type of surgery *** method can facilitate the development of efficient,reliable treatment recommendation systems and provide quantifiable evidence for decision-making.

Maps have long been a part of everyday life for the general public,and even more so in today’s knowledge *** doubt,cartography as a profession of map design is assuming a more important role in the formation of intellectual skills in terms of spatial *** its emergence as an academic discipline about 100 years ago,cartography has undergone many paradigm *** interaction with other disciplines has also constantly *** changes have left traces in cartographic education *** the age of big data,however,we are facing four fundamental challenges:(1) cartographic courses are being marginalized or even disappearing from degree programs in geospatial sciences;(2) the role of cartographers is increasingly eclipsed as a side effect of participatory cartography;(3) cartographers are blamed whenever something goes wrong with map use;and(4) professional map publishers can hardly compete with online mapping platforms dominated by Internet *** on a contextual analysis of this seemingly gloomy situation,the paper reveals a number of proliferation points for the design of future cartographic ***,cartography,once dedicated to supporting geospatial sciences,is thriving in the soil of data science,mapping not only the earth or other celestial bodies,but literally any kind of virtual ***,cartography has benefited from theoretical and technological advances in cognitive sciences,especially non-intrusive user studies,so that spatial cognition is becoming an integral component of cartographic ***,the role of scapegoat for wrongdoing of maps has accentuated cartographer’s overarching responsibility for quality and ethical issues in the geodata value ***,the diversification of the labor market requires new approaches to prepare future talents for a coopetition-oriented ecosystem in the marketplace.

Phenylacetic acid(PAA)is a primary raw material for illegal Methamphetamine(MATM)synthesis under the strong precursor chemicals supervisions of safrole and ***,trace detection of PAA at ultra-low concentration is a strategic technique and an urgent issue in the field of drug *** this paper,trace determination of PAA at sub-nmol-L-1 concentration level is achieved by hydrogen bond adsorption and electrochemical catalysis through the prepared aminated SiO_(2)nanoparticles(SiO_(2)-NH_(2) NPs)and MoS_(2) nanosheets(NSs)modified glassy carbon electrode(GCE).The prepared MoS_(2) NS s/SiO_(2)-NH_(2) NPs modified electrode represents a detecting limit of 0.0989 nmol·L^(-1)and an obvious increasing linear range before the concentration increasement up to 60 nmol·L^(-1)in square wave voltammetry(SWV)responses of *** SWV response of the modified electrode to PAA in the concentration range within 100 nmol·L^(-1)is higher than phenol,acetic acid(HOAc)and benzoic Acid(BEN).This electrochemical method for trace detection of PAA in aqueous solution with desired performance provides a feasible scheme for the detection of other drugs and aromatic precursor chemicals.
