A numerical schemes applicable to the direct solution of Boltzmann transport equation (BTE) in vertical-SOI NMOSFET are investigated by means of the finite element analysis (FEA).The solution gives the electron distribution function,electrostatic potential,carriers concentration,drift velocity,average energy and drain current by directly solving the BTE and the Poisson equation *** result shows that the direct numerical solution of the BTE with the aid of FEA and vertical SOI NMOSFET is a promising approach for ultra short channel transistors modeling.

The paper reviews previous publications and reports some comments about a semi empirical model of the growth and decay process of a planktonic microbial culture. After summarizing and reshaping some fundamental mathematical expressions, the paper highlights the reasons for the choice of a suitable time origin that makes the parameters of the model self-consistent. Besides the potential applications to predictive microbiology studies and to effects of bactericidal drugs, the model allows a suitable proxy of the fitness of the microbial culture, which can be of interest for the studies on the evolution across some thousand generations of a Long Term Evolution Experiment.

Objective To analyze and summarize the clinical,genotypic and pathological characteristics of children with PAX2 gene mutation in China,and to provide information for the monitoring,treatment and prognosis of the *** It was a case series analysis *** clinical data of children with PAX2 gene mutation in Pediatric Nephrology Department,TongijHi ospital Affiliatedd toTongji MedicalCollege,HIuazhong University of science and Technology from January 2014 to December 2022 were collected,and peripheral blood gene DNA was extracted and sequenced for whole exome *** clinical,pathological and genotypic characteristics of PAX2 gene variation of children in China were summarized by searching PubMed,Medline,China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Wanfang database and compared with the cases in this single *** Among the 13 children with PAX2 gene mutation,there were 9 males and 4 females,12 patients with abnormal urine tests,7 patients with small kidney volume by imaging examination,and 5 patients with renal *** clinical phenotypes were congenital renal and urinary tract malformations in 8 cases,renal coloboma syndrome in 1case,and hematuriaor proteinuria in 3 *** patients underwent renal biopsies,showing focal segmental glomerulosclerosis and C33glomerulopathy in1 case,focal segmental glomerulosclerosis in 1 case,thin basement membrane lesion in 1 case,and IgA nephropathy in 2 cases.

This study introduces an advanced finite element model for the light weight deflectometer(LWD),which integrates contact mechanics with fully coupled *** simulating LWD tests on granular soils at various saturation levels,the model accurately reflects the dependence of the LWD modulus on dry density,water content,and effective *** model addresses and overcomes the limitations of previous finite element models for this specific ***,this research presents the first experimentally validated fully coupled contact impact ***,the research provides a comparative assessment of elastoplastic and nonlinear elastic models and contrasts an enriched node-tosegment method(developed in this study)with the more precise mortar technique for contact *** comparisons reveal unique advantages and challenges for each ***,the study underscores the importance of careful application of the LWD modulus,emphasising the need for sophisticated tools to interpret soil behaviour accurately.

Mountainous regions have disadvantages in economic development because of harsh physical and climatic ***,winter tourism activities are one of the key components for supporting economic development in the *** a ski resort area supports direct and indirect employment in a region,and it stops immigration from mountainous regions to other *** research aimed to assess the potential ski areas using a multi criteria evaluation technique in the Van region which is located in the eastern part of Tü*** this context,snow cover duration,sun effect,slope,slope length,elevation,population density,distance from main roads and lake visibility were used as input factors in the decision making *** factor was standardized using a fuzzy technique based on existing well-known ski centers in Tü*** weight of inputs was defined by applying a survey to the professional *** most important factors were detected as transportation opportunities and snow covers whereas,the least important factors were elevation and population ***,lake visibility was very important to make a difference from other existing facilities in the ***,it was included as constraints and lake visible areas were extracted at the final stage of the *** ski areas were mapped in three levels as professional,intermediate and beginner *** of the suitable areas was selected as a sample projection and for the 3D simulation of the ski investment *** costs and benefits were *** was found that a ski tourism area investment can be amortized in 3 years in the region.

Although tuberculosis has become more common in recent years, it still accounts for just a small percentage of cases of chronic otitis media. Common symptoms of tuberculous otitis media(TOM) include otorrhoea, hearing loss, and multiple tympanic membrane perforations. Due to its rarity, the illness is frequently misdiagnosed. When a patient does not improve with standard antibacterial and antifungal treatment, this may be a possible diagnosis to explore. Complete healing is possible if the illness is diagnosed and treated timely to prevent consequences.
