Space-time clutter model for airborne bistatic radar with non-Gaussian statistics

To validate the potential space-time adaptive processing （STAP） algorithms for airborne bistatic radar clutter suppression under nonstationary and non-Gaussian clutter environments, a statistically non-Gaussian, space-time clutter model in varying bistatic geometrical scenarios is presented. The inclusive effects of the model contain the range dependency of bistatic clutter spectrum and clutter power variation in range-angle cells. To capture them, a new approach to coordinate system conversion is initiated into formulating bistatic geometrical model, and the bistatic non-Gaussian amplitude clutter representation method based on a compound model is introduced. The veracity of the geometrical model is validated by using the bistatic configuration parameters of multi-channel airborne radar measurement （MCARM） experiment. And simulation results manifest that the proposed model can accurately shape the space-time clutter spectrum tied up with specific airborne bistatic radar scenario and can characterize the heterogeneity of clutter amplitude distribution in practical clutter environments.

By using the expressions of the field parameters and with the aid of the Orthogonal DesignMethod,we optimized the design of the saddle delection yoke with a ferromagnetic shield.The results ob-tained agree with the practical model.It is pointed out that the end ear and the distribution of the fieldparameter B0（z）have important effects on the deflection aberrations.An example is given,in which the elec-tron optical properties of the deflection coils having cosine distribution and finite length and that of the de-flection coils having distributed winding are compared.

Based on transmission function theory,the synthesis technique for multivaluedCMOS circuits is discussed.By comparing the CMOS circuits based on transmission functiontheory with the T gate,it is shown that their action principles are identical.Based on it,thesynthesis method for multivalued CMOS circuits with many variables by using function decom-position is proposed.

Learning Vector Quantization(LVQ)originally proposed by Kohonen(1989)is aneurally-inspired classifier which pays attention to approximating the optimal Bayes decisionboundaries associated with a classification task.With respect to several defects of LVQ2 algorithmstudied in this paper,some‘soft’competition schemes such as‘majority voting’scheme andcredibility calculation are proposed for improving the ability of classification as well as the learningspeed.Meanwhile,the probabilities of winning are introduced into the corrections for referencevectors in the‘soft’competition.In contrast with the conventional sequential learning technique,a novel parallel learning technique is developed to perform LVQ2 procedure.Experimental resultsof speech recognition show that these new approaches can lead to better performance as comparedwith the conventional

The Internet of Moving Things(IoMT)takes a step further with respect to traditional static IoT deployments.In this line,the integration of new eco-friendly mobility devices such as scooters or bicycles within the Cooperative-Intelligent Transportation Systems(C-ITS)and smart city ecosystems is crucial to provide novel services.To this end,a range of communication technologies is available,such as cellular,vehicular WiFi or Low-Power Wide-Area Network(LPWAN);however,none of them can fully cover energy consumption and Quality of Service(QoS)requirements.Thus,we propose a Decision Support System(DSS),based on supervised Machine Learning(ML)classification,for selecting the most adequate transmission interface to send a certain message in a multi-Radio Access Technology(RAT)set up.Different ML algorithms have been explored taking into account computing and energy constraints of IoMT enddevices and traffic type.Besides,a real implementation of a decision tree-based DSS for micro-controller units is presented and evaluated.The attained results demonstrate the validity of the proposal,saving energy in communication tasks as well as satisfying QoS requirements of certain urgent messages.The footprint of the real implementation on an Arduino Uno is 444 bytes and it can be executed in around 50µs.

In this paper,a new radar target identification scheme is presented based on adaptivediscrimination waveform synthesis and a nearest neighbor neural network.It can directly use theimpulse response of the target to synthesize discrimination waveform,so the poles extractionprocedure is not required.Particularly,it can successfully operate on the case that the poles ofthe target are weakly dependent on the aspect angle.

An oscillator(OSC)with a metamaterial resonator based on high-Q is designed to improve the phase noise in Kband.The proposed metamaterial resonator is a lattice structure resonator(LSR)that is designed to be high-Q by a strong coupling of E-field at the resonance frequency.Thus the output of OSC is about 12.5dBm at the f0.The phase noise is 109.477dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset frequency.
