Application of uniform DFT filter bank in radar jamming system

Bulk Schottky silicide source/drain n- and p-MOS transistors(SSDTs) with EOT=2.0～2.5nm HfO gate dielectric and HfN/TaN metal gate have been successfully demonstrated using a low temperature process.P-SSDTs with PtSi silicide show excellent electrical performance of I/I～10-10 and subthreshold slop of 66 mV/dec.N-SSDTs with YbSi silicide have also demonstrated a very promising characteristic with a recorded high I/I radio of～10 and subthreshold slope of 75mV/dec.To the best of our knowledge,these are the best SSDTs data reported so far.The implant free low temperature process relaxes the thermal budget of high-K dielectric and metal gate materials. Our results are expected to be further improved when using ultra-thin-body(UTB) SOI structures,showing great potential of this low temperature process SSDTs for future sub-tenth micron CMOS technology.

The principle of uniform DFT filter bank is presented. Exploiting poly-phase structure, radar jamming system samples the intercepted wideband radar signals through analysis filter bank by different channels and linearly modulates the intercepted radar signal according to the theory of signal and system, then synthesizes the jamming signal through the synthesis filter hank. The method merely requires lower sample frequency, reduces the computational complexity and the data quantity to be processed. The un-ideal filter＇s influence to the result of signals processing is analyzed by simulating the match filter in radar jamming system.

＜正＞A new method is presented to suppress the cross-talk of high speed digital circuits,when the rise time and fall time of transmitted signal are shorter than 500ps.The proposed method is to use alternative smoothly changing phase-velocity microstrip lines （Alter-P lines） on printed circuit board.A pair of Alter-p lines are composed of a homogeneous line and a period structured slow-wave line,which makes the phase velocity difference between neighboring tracks. Preliminary theoretical analysis,with the quasi-TEM and no lost approximation,proves the cross-talk between tracks can be controlled by the phase constant difference of the tracks.Simulation and experiment have shown that the cross-talk is lower than conventional parallel microstrip lines.

Antenna loads can modify the current distribution on the wires, thus improving antenna characteristics in the process. However, it is difficult to calculate appropriate loads of antenna near the ground because in half lossy space there are inherent situational complexities. This paper optimizes loads of antenna near the ground base using a half-determined genetic algorithm. The numerical results show the HDGA has a quicker convergent speed and a better convergent value than the SGA.

Congestion management in an electricity market is introduced in this paper and a new method of allocating congestion cost to transactions is proposed. The proposed method is a two-step process, in which the total congestion cost is firstly allocated to congested facilities and then to each transaction involved. The cost of relieving a congested facility allocated to each transaction is proportional to the power flow change on the congested facility caused by the transaction. The more the power flow change is on the congested facility caused by the transaction, the deeper the degree of involvement by the transaction. Therefore, cutting down the magnitudes of such transactions contributes to relieving congestion. Test results on a 5-bus system indicate that the proposed method can reflect reasonably the degree of involvement by each transaction in the congestion and provide correct price signals contributing to relieving congestion.

In this paper, the design and implementation of a high performance Ultra-WideBand (UWB) Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) waveform generator at Very High Frequency/Ultra High Frequency (VHF/UHF) band are introduced. Firstly, the design ideas for a high performance UWB LFM waveform generator are described. Then, a generation scheme for UWB LFM waveforms is presented according to the baseband digital generation method combining with the bandwidth ex-tension method via frequency doubling. An experimental system has been implemented and tested. The results show that the UWB LFM waveform generator achieves very high performance.

This study explored the concurrent scheduling of machines, tools, and tool transporter(TT) with alternative machines in a multi-machine flexible manufacturing system(FMS), taking into mind the tool transfer durations for minimization of the makespan(MSN). When tools are expensive, just a single copy of every tool kind is made available for use in the FMS system. Because the tools are housed in a central tool magazine(CTM), which then distributes and delivers them to many machines, because there is no longer a need to duplicate the tools in each machine, the associated costs are avoided. Choosing alternative machines for job operations(jb-ons), assigning tools to jb-ons, sequencing jb-ons on machines, and arranging allied trip activities, together with the TT’s loaded trip times and deadheading periods, are all challenges that must be overcome to achieve the goal of minimizing MSN. In addition to a mixed nonlinear integer programming(MNLIP) formulation for this simultaneous scheduling problem, this paper suggests a symbiotic organisms search algorithm(SOSA) for the problem’s solution. This algorithm relies on organisms’ symbiotic interaction strategies to keep living in an ecosystem. The findings demonstrate that SOSA is superior to the Jaya algorithm in providing solutions and that using alternative machines for operations helps bring down MSN.

Two new current mode active-RC networks using the second generation current conveyer (CCII) devices are presented. The circuits provide high-Q bandpass (BP)/lowpass(LP) filter characteristics; the highpass(HP) response may also be obtained with suitable design. Current mode sine wave signal generation (Q→α) is possible by tuning a grounded resistor. With non-ideal CCIIs the design equations are slightly altered owing to CCII port current and voltage tracking errors (Ei,v).

Propose a new degradation call admission control（DCAC）scheme, which can be used in wideband code division multiple access communication system. So-called degradation is that non-real time call has the characteristic of variable bit rate, so decreasing its bit rate can reduce the load of the system, consequently the system can admit new call which should be blocked when the system is close to full load, therefore new call＇s access probability increases. This paper brings forward design project and does system simulation, simulation proves that DCAC can effectively decrease calls＇ blocking probability and increase the total number of the on-line users.
