In this paper we examine the effect on the determination of boundary length per unit area of the stepped nature of boundaries in orientation maps derived from electron back-scatter diffraction data.A correction factor is derived for isotropic *** measures based on length per unit area for the determination of the cross-link boundary spacing in high strain deformation microstructures are then compared.A geometric method based on subtraction of the contribution to the length per area of the lamellar boundaries gives the best results,though in some cases a method based on boundary misorientation angles may be preferred.

Two novel heterocyclic diamine monomers: 1,2-dihydro-2-(4-aminophenyl)-4-[4-(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl] (2H)phthalazin-1-one and 1,2-dihydro-2-(4-aminophenyl)-4-[4-(4-aminophenoxy)-3,5-dimethylphenyl](2H)phthalazin-1-one were successfully synthesized from readily available heterocyclic bisphenol-like monomers in two steps in high yield. A series of novel poly(aryl ether amide)s containing the phthalazinone moiety were successfully prepared by the direct polymerization of the novel diamines and aromatic dicarboxylic acids using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents.

The solution heat treatment,cold deformation and subsequent aging were performed on CuMoCr *** the influence of deformation and aging treatment on the electrical conductivity of CuMoCr alloy was studied through metallograph,transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and electrical conductivity *** show that deformation without subsequent aging can reduce the electrical conductivity of CuMoCr alloy,but deformation followed by the optimum aging treatment can effectively improve the electrical conductivity of CuMoCr *** at 500 ℃ for 4 h after 80% deformation,the much better electrical conductivity of CuMoCr alloy can be *** of Cr content in the Cu matrix could be the reason for the enhancement of electrical conductivity.

In-situ titanium matrix composites with N content of 0. 045-0. 27 wt% have been produced by a easting method. The microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast materials have been observed and tested. The results show that when N content in Ti-6Al alloy is between 0. 045 wt% and 0. 27 wt%, the reinforcement is a compound of Ti, Al and N, and volume fraction of reinforcements increases with an increase of N content. The hardness, compressive strength and elastic modulus are all higher than that of the matrix alloy. With the increase of N content, the compressive strength, the hardness and the elastic modulus increase. Fracture surface analysis has also shown that the matrix alloy fractures in a ductile model and the composites fracture in a cleavage brittle model with characteristics of dimple and cleavage surface.

In general-sum games, taking all agent＇s collective rationality into account, we define agents＇ global objective, and propose a novel multi-agent reinforcement learning（RL） algorithm based on global policy. In each learning step, all agents commit to select the global policy to achieve the global goal. We prove this learning algorithm converges given certain restrictions on stage games of learned Q values, and show that it has quite lower computation time complexity than already developed multi-agent learning algorithms for general-sum games. An example is analyzed to show the algorithm＇ s merits.

In the Abu Rusheid area, Southeastern Desert of Egypt, polymineralized (HREEs, U, Zn and Pb) lam-prophyre dykes are recently recorded. The lamprophyre dykes cut cataclastic rocks along share zones in NNW-SSE trends. The secondary U-minerals are essentially represented by uranophane, kasolite, torbernite and autunite. Ex-perimental work was carried out on the lamprophyre dykes for the recovery of uranium and other valuable elements (e.g. Zn, Pb and Al) from 50 kg of technological sample. The optimum conditions were: 100 g/L sulfuric acid con-centration, 1:5 S/L (solid/liquid) and soaking for 15 days at room temperature. The leaching efficiencies for the re-covery of uranium and other elements like Al, Zn and Pb were 40, 33.6, 98.8 and 78, respectively.

Enhancement and Optimization of ATO Nano-crystalline Films Properties by the Addition of Acetylacetone as Modifier in the Sol-gel Process

Sb-doped Sn O2(ATO) thin films have been prepared using the spin coating method by selecting the proper amount of acetylacetone as solution modifier. All ATO powders and films exhibited the cassiterite rutile-like structure in a crystal size below 10 nm under all the experimental conditions and a nonpreviously reported crystal structure was observed at high acetylacetone loads. The acetylacetone molar ratio influenced notably the optical and electrical properties of ATO films. When prepared at an acetylacetone molar ratio of 4, ATO films exhibited optical transparencies above 90% in the visible region and above 40% in the UV region for thicknesses of 100 and 300 nm. Films in a thickness of 100 nm and at an annealing temperature of 650 ℃ accounted for a high transparency of 97% in the visible wavelength. Films prepared at an acetylacetone molar ratio of 4 exhibited an electric resistivity of 1.33×10-3 Ω·cm at an annealing temperature of 650 ℃. The optimal Sb content for ATO films was found to be 8 at%. The relationships among the properties of starting solutions, the experimental parameters, and properties of ATO films are discussed.
