This paper proposes an improved Direction Of Arrival（DOA） estimation algorithm for asynchronous multipath Code Division Multiple Access（CDMA） system. The algorithm is based on the correlation matrices of outputs of decorrelator, which is a Multi-User Detection（MUD） approach, one of the key techniques for CDMA system. Through decorrelating processing, the desired user＇s mulipath signals can be resolved and all the other resolved multipath signal interference is eliminated. So the proposed algorithm is expected to perforln much better than algorithm such as that based directly on the Matched Filter（MF） bank outputs. Simulation results confirm this. While the improved algorithm performs better and better as Signal-to-Noise Ratio（SNR） increases, the performance of algorithm based directly on the MF bank outputs can not be improved.

We propose and analyze a submicron stub-assisted ultrafast all-optical plasmonic switch based on nonlinear MIM waveguide. It is constructed by two silicon stub filters sandwiched by silver cladding. The signal waveleng.h is assumed to be 1550 nm. The simulation results show a ?14.66 dB extinction ratio. Downscaling the silicon waveguide in MIM structure leads to enhancement of the effective Kerr nonlinearity due to tight mode confinement. Also, using O+ ions implanted into silicon, the switching time less than 10 ps and a delay time less than 8 fs are achieved. The overall leng.h of the switch is 550 nm.

＜正＞There is a limit of recognition performance for dialogue speech using acoustic models built only with read speech, because various acoustic and linguistic phenomena, which reflect, the characteristics of spontaneous speech, are observed in the dialogue speech. In this paper, we investigated the differences of acoustic properties which cause the limit among isolated words, read speech and spontaneous speech. Firstly, the dialogue speech was compared with the read speech through acoustic analyses. Next, the acoustic models were separately built with each of the speech databases. The recognition performance was experimentally evaluated using the acoustic models and the relations of the differences of the performance to those of the acoustic features observed in the analyses were investigated quantitatively. The effectiveness of speaker adaptation was also investigated in the same manner.

The issue of CCF （common cause failure） in digital I ＆ C （instrumentation and control） systems is of great interest because an increasing number of such systems are implemented in nuclear power plants. For the mitigation of ATWS （anticipated transients without scram） as well as CCF within the PPS （plant protection system） and the ESF-CCS （eng.neered safety feature-component control system）, the ADPS （advanced diverse protection system） has been developed by KEPCO E ＆ C （KEPCO eng.neering and Construction） Company for new nuclear units in Korea. As compared to the DPS （diverse protection system） design of APR1400, the ADPS has a diverse safety injection function considering a LBLOCA （large break loss of coolant accident） concurrent with the CCF of the PPS and ESF-CCS. Besides the function of SIAS （safety injection actuation signal） initiation, several CCF avoidance features, such as the changes of software design classification, communication methods, equipment platform, and man-machine interfaces, are introduced to enhance the reliability of the ADPS. In addition, the ADPS has recently incorporated four redundant channels with 2-out-of-4 voting logics to enhance its fault tolerant capability. Therefore, it is expected that the ADPS can provide an enhanced reliability regarding possible CCFs in the safety-grade digital I ＆ C systems as well as the ADPS itself.

研制了一种用于GSM850/GSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900/UMTS频段的五频内置芯片天线.芯片天线将FR-4介质（介电常数为4.4）上的曲折线和螺旋线相结合,两者分别产生谐振频段进行叠加从而实现天线宽频工作特性.弯曲的折线结构实现了天线尺寸的小型化,天线的体积为20 mm×8 mm×3.2 mm,适合用作移动手机终端的内置天线.电路板的尺寸为40 mm×93 mm,适用于新款小型手机.在驻波比小于3时,测试低频带宽为146 MHz（1030-1176 MHz）,高频工作带宽为530 MHz（1756-2286 MHz）.

Bulk Schottky silicide source/drain n- and p-MOS transistors(SSDTs) with EOT=2.0～2.5nm HfO gate dielectric and HfN/TaN metal gate have been successfully demonstrated using a low temperature process.P-SSDTs with PtSi silicide show excellent electrical performance of I/I～10-10 and subthreshold slop of 66 mV/dec.N-SSDTs with YbSi silicide have also demonstrated a very promising characteristic with a recorded high I/I radio of～10 and subthreshold slope of 75mV/*** the best of our knowledge,these are the best SSDTs data reported so *** implant free low temperature process relaxes the thermal budget of high-K dielectric and metal gate materials. Our results are expected to be further improved when using ultra-thin-body(UTB) SOI structures,showing great potential of this low temperature process SSDTs for future sub-tenth micron CMOS technology.
