Flaxseed has displayed the potential beneficial as functional ***,most studies focused on effects of flaxseed extracts or ingredients in ***,few studies showed that flaxseed extracts contributed to anti-type 1 diabetes(T1D),yet the underlying mechanism is still *** the present study,16.7% of milled flaxseed(MF)-added diet was given to diabetic mice induced by streptozocin for 6 *** results showed that MF feeding 1)slightly decreased blood glucose levels and improved the ability of glucose tolerance by oral glucose tolerance test,2)decreased liver tumor necrosis factor-αlevels and increased liver glycogen levels with significance via down-regulating TLR4/NF-κB pathways,3)and significantly altered some beneficial bacteria in gut *** conclusion,the present study showed that milled flaxseed showed the potential on anti-T1D through anti-inflammation via TLR4/NF-κB and altering the gut microbiota in STZ-induced diabetic mice.

By means of a logarithm law for the velocity profile, a corrected formula of bed resistance coefficient, which involves many factors such as gradient of still water dept., variation of surface elevation, flow direction, and so on, is derived from the 3D governing equations of tidal current by averaging over the whole water dept.. Theoretical analysis and application have shown that the 2D plane tidal current numerical model would be more reasonable and could be applied to steep bottom topography when the corrected bed resistance coefficient is used, therefore the results of reproduction simulation and engineering calculation would be more scientific and reasonable.

In this paper, the performance of various Pulse Position Modulation (PPM) schemes has been analysed for PIN and APD receivers in the presence of atmospheric turbulence. It is observed that the performance of the APD receiver is always better than that of the PIN receiver as expected. Among the various modulation schemes, the performance of Differential Amplitude PPM (DAPPM) scheme with more number of amplitude levels is better than that of the other schemes for the same single level peak amplitude. Further, the optimum gain of APD receiver does not change substantially for different modulation schemes and turbulent conditions.

The anticancer activity of stevenleaf(SV)on the basis of cell viability,cell cycle,and apoptosis induction in HepG2 cancer cells were *** controlled the growth of HepG2 cells with IC50 of 139.82μmol/L for 24 h,IC50 of 119.12μmol/L for 48 h and cell cycle arrested at G0/G1 phase,induced cell apoptosis and enhanced intracellular ROS *** cell cycle arrest,the mRNA expression levels of p21,p27 and p53 were up-regulated,while the expression levels of Cyclin A,Cyclin D1,Cyclin E and CDK1/2 were *** efficiently up-regulated TNF R1,TRADD1 and FADD and down-regulated Caspase8 for cell death receptors;similarly,up-regulated Bax,Bak,Cytc,Apaf1,Caspase3 and Caspase9,and down-regulated Bcl2,Bcl xl and Bad for mitochondrial signal *** induced the mTOR-mediated cell apoptosis in HepG2 cells via activation of Akt and *** mechanistic explanation for the anticancer activity of SV as functional food can be derived from above results.

Cold spray is a technique to make a coating on a wide variety of mechanical or electric parts by spraying solid particles accelerated through a high-speed gas flow in a converging-diverging nozzle. In this study, pseudo-shock waves in a modeled cold spray nozzle as well as high-speed gas jets are visualized by schlieren technique. The schlieren photographs reveals the supersonic flow with shock train in the nozzle. Static pressure along the barrel wall is also measured. The location of the head of pseudo-shock wave and its pressure distribution along the nozzle wall are analytically explained by using a formula of pseudo-shock wave. The analytical results show that the supersonic flow accompanying shock wave in the nozzle should be treated as pseudo-shock wave instead of normal shock wave.

This paper presents a 10-bit 20 MS/s pipelined Analog-to- Digital Converter（ADC） using op amp sharing approach and removing Sample and Hold Amplifier（SHA） or SHA-less technique to reach the goal of low-power constanpfion. This design was fabricated in TSMC 0.18 wn 1P6M technology. Measurement results show at supply voltage of 1.8 V, a SFDR of 42.46 dB, a SNDR of 39.45 dB, an ENOB of 6.26, and a THDof41.82 dB are at 1 MHz sinusoidal sig- nal input. In addition, the DNL and INL are 1.4 LSB and 3.23 LSB respectively. The power onstmaption is 28.8 mW. The core area is 0.595 mm2 and the chip area including pads is 1.468 mm2.

The letter proposes a three-layer manageable media distribution network system architecture called MSPnet, which is based on Session Initiation ProtocolIll and Peer to Peer （SIP P2P） technology. MSPnet performs application-level structured DHT routing and resource location among domains and unstructured ones in domain. Except for media distribution, it can be used to support a variety of P2P applications, including video broadcasting, video on demand, VoIP, etc. MSPnet is composed of three layers, namely, the signal control layer, the management layer, and the media transportation layer. The MSPnet prototype consists of the SIP server, the management server, the media server, and the node User Agent （UA）. Results from a prototype experiment in a large-scale Internet environment show that MSPnet is feasible, scalable and manageable.

Recently, the reference functions for the synthesis and analysis of the autostereoscopic multiview and integral images in three-dimensional displays were introduced. In the current paper, we propose the wavelets to analyze such images. The wavelets are built on these reference functions as on the scaling functions of the wavelet analysis. The continuous wavelet transform was successfully applied to the testing wireframe binary objects. The restored locations correspond to the structure of the testing wireframe binary objects.

To acquire candidate non-Saccharomyces strains for preparation of high-quality Vidal icewine,11 representative indigenous non-Saccharomyces strains were selected for analyzing their production of organic acids,phenolic compounds,aroma-active compounds and evaluating their sensory profile in Vidal *** results showed that the contents of organic acids in the wines were controlled and balanced well by the non-Saccharomyces strains as well as polyphenol concentrations were well improved during the *** strains differed from each other in their ability to produce aroma compounds,causing diversity and complexity of aroma characteristics in *** by Saccharomycopsis crataegensis YC30(Sc)and Hanseniaspora uvarum QTX22(Hu)could enhance the sweet and floral notes in Vidal icewine,especially Sc,which has never been reported *** can not only enrich the aroma categories,but also increase the content ofδ-decalactone,γ-decalactone,ethyl isobutyrate,ethyl butyrate,phenethyl acetic acid,*** evaluation and optimization of non-Saccharomyces yeast strains could provide theoretical basis for the improvement of ice wine quality,and supply new ideas and strategies for the brewing of ice wine.
