The paper discusses how to reduce higher singularity order of a boundary integral equation. The approach will be discussed in some detail for plane elasticity.Numerical results for the meshes of unequal length boundary elements are reported.Higher precision for both deflection and force is obtained than that obtained with a general boundary element method.

Transition metal carbides and nitrides(MXenes)are crystal nanomaterials with a number of surface functional groups such as fluorine,hydroxyl,and oxygen,which can be used as carriers for proteins and drugs.MXenes have excellent biocompatibility,electrical conductivity,surface hydrophilicity,mechanical properties and easy surface modification.However,at present,the stability of most MXenes needs to be improved,and more synthesis methods need to be explored.MXenes are good substrates for nerve cell regeneration and nerve reconstruction,which have broad application prospects in the repair of nervous system injury.Regarding the application of MXenes in neuroscience,mainly at the cellular level,the long-term in vivo biosafety and effects also need to be further explored.This review focuses on the progress of using MXenes in nerve regeneration over the last few years;discussing preparation of MXenes and their biocompatibility with different cells as well as the regulation by MXenes of nerve cell regeneration in two-dimensional and three-dimensional environments in vitro.MXenes have great potential in regulating the proliferation,differentiation,and maturation of nerve cells and in promoting regeneration and recovery after nerve injury.In addition,this review also presents the main challenges during optimization processes,such as the preparation of stable MXenes and long-term in vivo biosafety,and further discusses future directions in neural tissue engineering.

The purpose of this paper is to discuss how the value of high-tech.firm can be rationally valued by taking into account managerial flexibility when its future revenue is uncertain,thereby the firm's manager can make rational investment decisions.Using stochastic control theory,the paper will present that the firm's value satisfies a partially differentiate equation,and analyze the managerial flexibility value within a framework of real-option analytic theorey.Finally,the comparative static analysis and the model's simple application are given.

The thermo elasto-plastic optimum design of ceramic-metal functionally graded materials (FGMs)was investigated in this paper. The inelastic properties were first evaluated using micromechanical approaches, then an elasto-plastic finite element model was used to calculate the thermal stress in the material . The effects of micromechanical approaches, plasticity and graded interlayer thickness on the thermal stress relaxation characteristics and stress distributions were studied. The results show that: (1) the macro elas-to-plastic response given by the mean-field micromechanics and self-consistent micromechanics is nearly the same but the response given by the rule of mixture is different; (2)the thermo elasto-plastic behavior must be considered to realistically evaluate stress reduction, and the elasto-plastic optimum design can get helpful information to determine the graded interlayer thicknesses;and(3) to optimize the microstructure of the graded material achieves reductions in critical stress components and rational stress distributions.

Let X be a d-dimensional random vector with unknown density function f(z) = f (z1, ..., z(d)), and let f(n) be teh nearest neighbor estimator of f proposed by Loftsgaarden and Quesenberry (1965). In this paper, we established the law of the iterated logarithm of f(n) for general case of d greater-than-or-equal-to 1, which gives the exact pointwise strong convergence rate of f(n).

In this paper, we will consider following initial value problem of semilinear stochastic evolution equation in Hilbert Space: [GRAPHICS] where W(t) is a wiener process in H, H and Y are two real separable Hilbert Spaces, A is an infinitesimal generator of a strongly continuous semigroup s(t) on Y, f(t, y): [0, T] x Y --> Y, and G(t, y): [0, T] X Y --> L(H, Y), y0: OMEGA --> Y is a ramdom variable of square integrable. We apply theory of the semigroup and obtain two conclusions of uniqueness of the mild solution of (1) which include the corresponding results in [4].
