Objective To examine the clinical subtypes of patients with multisystem atrophy(MSA)that may indicate the prognosis of ***,we aim to compare the ability to perform daily activities among patients of each subtype using cluster *** The retrospective analysis included demographic data,clinical symptoms and signs,scale scores,and ancillary examinations of 94 patients diagnosed with multisystem atrophyatXuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical *** study aimed to analyze the clinical characteristicssofeachhsubtype obtained through ***,acomparison was'made between patients with traditional motor subtypes and those with new subtypes in terms of activities of daily *** study consisted of 94 MSA patients,with an average age of 61 years and a female representation of 51.1%.Using the data collected on the continuum,a full linkage hierarchical cluster analysis was performed to classify MSA patients into four clinical subtypes:gait disorder(17 cases,18.1%),malignant tonic hyperkinetic with premature haircut(25 cases,26.6%),intermediate(43 cases,45.7%)。

Objective To explore the clinical characteristics of unilateral vertebral artery V4 segment occlusive lesions(severe stenosis or occlusion),where the contralateral vertebral artery can be compensated through blood flow and reverse supplytothe posterior inferior cerebellarartery(PICA).Methods This study is a retrospective case series of 66 patients with V4 segment occlusive lesions of unilateral vertebral artery diagnosed and treated from June 2020 to October *** data were retrospectively collected,and their hemodynamic characteristics and imaging data were *** Of the 66 cases,11 patients(16.7%)with V4 segment occlusive disease showed the blood flow of the vertebral artery on the opposite side of the lesion on the digital subtraction angiography(DSA),which can be reversely stolen to the posterior inferior cerebellar artery of the diseased side through the confluence point of the vertebrobasilar artery through the distal end of the ipsilateral vertebral artery *** to the lack of literature on this pathway and based on the characteristics of previous definitions of subclavian artery steal and carotid artery steal,we referred to this pathway as the vertebral artery V4 segment *** 6 patients(9.1%)。

Objective To investigate the effect of homocysteine(Hcy) on cerebral perfusion and cognitive function in patients with arteriosclerotic cerebral small vessel disease(aCSVD).Methods A total of 117 patients with aCSVD who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from June 2020 to September 2022 were enrolled and divided into the aCSVD cognitive impairment group (aCSVD-CI,n=57) and aCSVD noncognitive impairment group (aCSVD-NCI,n=60)according to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment score.

Objective To summarize the clinical phenotype and genetic characteristics of biallelic variation in HPDL leading to neurodevelopmental disorders with progressive spasticity and cerebral white matter abnormalities Methods The clinical and genetic data of 3 cases with neurodevelopmentla ldisorders confirmedinthe Department of neurology of the Affiliated Children's Hospital of Zhengzhou University from February 2018 to June2022 ***-generation sequencing method was used to sequence the HPDL gene and the first-generation Sanger sequencing was used to verify the family members,and the characteristics of gene variants were summarized,and 3 cases were treated and followed *** Among the 3 children with neurodevelopmental disorders,2 were females and 1 male,and the age of onset was 25 days to 11 years of *** the clinical phenotypes,cases 1 and 2 were children with Leigh-like syndrome with infancy onset,with recurrentseizures,intelligent backwardness,language and motor delay,lactic acid increase,acidosis.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of acute stent implantation during endovascular treatment for patients with emergent large vessel occlusion due to intracranial atherosclerotic *** A retrospective analysis was carried out on 46 patients with emergent large vessel occlusion due to intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis whoreceivedendovascular treatment at the Strategic Support Force Medical Center from January 2015 to August ***-seven patients underwent balloon angioplasty alone and 19 patients underwent acute stent *** baseline characteristics,modified thrombolysisincerebral infarction(mTICI)score of the responsible vessels,modified Rankin scale(mRS)score 90 days after operation,incidence of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage and mortality of the two groups were *** The proportion of effective recanalization of the offending vessels(mTICI≥2b)in the acute stenting group was slightly higher than that in the balloon angioplasty group(16/19 vs.81.5%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Besides,there was no significant difference in the median of mRS between the acute stenting group[3.0(0,4.0)]and the balloon angioplasty group[4.0(1.0,5.0)]90 days after operation(P>0.05).
