Background: Fibrous dysplasia is an uncommon skeletal disorder in which normal bone and marrow are replaced with fibro-osseous tissue. The disease comprises 2.5% of all bone tumors and 7.5% of all benign bone neoplasm. It is the progressive, slowly developing disease and the optimum treatment remains unclear in many cases. Aim: In this study, the authors report their experience in the surgical treatment of four cases of craniofacial fibrous dysplasia. Cases presentation: The study involved 4 patients with craniofacial fibrous dysplasia. There were 3 men and a woman. The patients were 10, 17, 20 and 8 years old. No patient had a focal neurological deficit. The CT scan appearance was compatible with Fibrous dysplasia in all patients. The site of disease was frontal in one case and parietal in the other 3 cases. Cosmetic surgical treatment was performed in all patients. Cranioplasty was performed in one patient and planned for the other three. Conclusion: Fibrous Dysplasia is a benign slow growing disease that may cause as well as clinical symptom and aesthetical discomfort. Radical resection, if possible, is the only technique to obtain resolution of the disease.

In 1969, Lazar, Morris and Wulbert gave a necessary condition of OCC(X) whose metric projection P_G has s continuous selection. In this paper, we show that the necessary condition mentioned above is also sufficient for the existence of continuous selections for P_G. As abonus, we prove that P_G has a continuous selection if and only if P_G is almost lower semicontinuity.

Benign multicystic peritoneal mesothelioma （BMPM） is a rare tumor that occurs mainly in women in their reproductive age. The pathogenesis of BMPM is unclear and a controversy regarding its neoplastic and reactive nature exists. The biological behavior of BMPM is characterized by its slowly progressive process and high rate of recurrence after surgical resection. In addition this lesion does not present a strong tendency to transform into malignancy. Today approximately 130 cases have been reported. We here report a 62-year-old woman who had diffuse abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Physical examination revealed a painful mass in her upper abdomen. She reported a mild dehydration, but the vital signs were normal. Peristaltic rushes, gurgles and highpitched tinkles were audible. Upright plain abdominal film revealed small bowel loops with air-fluid levels. She was diagnosed having an incarcerated incisional hernia that resulted in intestinal obstruction. The patient underwent surgery during which a cystic mass of the right ovary measuring 6 cm × 5 cm × 4 cm, four small cysts of the small bowel （1 cm in diameter） and a cyst at the retroperitoneum measuring 11 cm× 10 cm × 3 cm were found. Complete resection of the lesion was performed. The patient had an uneventful recovery and had no recurrence two years after surgery.

Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) could be used for dozens of metabolites [1]. In this paper we will focus especially on proton (hydrogen) MRS. Generally published literatures consist of reviews and articles about metabolites are long, complicated and emphasise on physical or on technical data. But with this article, we will try to explain basically how MRS could be used in daily practice of radiologists. First of all we tried to search all current literature only referencing the main ones to make this review and we want all of our colleagues to give feedback about this review. With collection of all these trick points and line up to appropriate order, it is possible to make this review a common guide for radiologists and a useful tool while reporting MRS.

Lumbar Disc Herniation and Lumbar Spine Stenosis are the most common spine diseases which are mainly due to age related Spine degeneration. Diagnosis of both Lumbar Disc Herniation and Lumbar Spine Stenosis depends on clinical findings as well as radiological investigations. Treatment of choice of these conditions is on the basis of the patient conditions. Surgical treatment is the option only when the conservative treatment does not improve the patient’s clinical condition. Advancement and improvement of the technology have resulted in the traditional open surgical treatment into minimal invasive surgery. Intervention of the different surgical instruments with expert spinal surgeons had made percutaneous endoscopic lumbar Spine surgery as one of the preferred choices of surgery for treating Lumbar Disc Herniation and Lumbar Spine Stenosis. The concept of percutaneous endoscopic surgery for lumbar region is to provide surgical options without producing iatrogenic morbidity associated with the open surgical procedures. Conventionally, there are different approaches/techniques for Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Spine Surgery, but in this review we are mainly focusing on the Transforaminal Technique. Regarding the Lumbar Disc Herniation treatment with transforaminal approach, a number of articles have been published due to which we mainly focused on those articles which were published after 2009 onwards. While fewer articles related to Lumbar Spine Stenosis treatment with Transforaminal approach were found, we tried to brief out all those articles. On the basis of comparative study of different surgeries done for Lumbar Disc Herniation and Lumbar Spine Stenosis, Percutaneous Transforaminal endoscopic Lumbar Surgery provides a substantial benefit. Transforaminal approach for treating Lumbar Disc Herniation and Lumbar Spine Stenosis is safe and effective. ＜正＞ A non-contact measurement technique of Rayleigh wave velocity is proposed. In the non-contact measurement system, a laser Doppler velocimeter is used to detect wave motions. With above technique, the relationship between Rayleigh wave velocity and stress for an aluminum alloy 5052 and steel SS400 is determined, and the results are in good agreement with that obtained by contact measurement method.

AIM： To evaluate the effect of polypropylene mesh- reinforced pancreatojejunostomy on pancreatic leakage. METHODS： Seventeen consecutive patients with paraampullar malignancy received polyprolene meshreinforced pancreatodudeonectomy and the Child＇s method was used to rebuild the alimentary tract. RESULTS： The mean time of polyprolene mesh-reinforced pancreatojejunostomy was 22 rain. Anastomosis could endure 30-500 cm H20 pressure during operation. All patients recovered without pancreatic leakage. CONCLUSION： Polyprolene mesh-reinforced pancreatojejunostomy is a feasible and reliable procedure to prevent pancreatic leakage.
