Multi-scale analyses of phase transformation mechanisms and hardness in linear friction welded Ti17(a+β)/Ti17(β)dissimilar titanium alloy joint

The Ti17(a+β)-Ti17(β)dual alloy-dual property blisk produced using Linear Friction Welding(LFW)is considered as high-performance component in advanced ***,up to now,microstructure evolution and relationship between microstructure and micro mechanical properties of LFWed Ti17(a+β)/Ti17(β)dissimilar joint have not been thoroughly *** this work,complex analyses of the phase transformation mechanisms of the joint are conducted,and phase transformations in individual zones are correlated to their microhardness and *** reveal that a dissolution occurs under high temperatures encountered during LFW,which reduces microhardness of the joint to that of Ti17(a+β)and Ti17(β).In ThermoMechanically Affected Zone of Ti17(a+β)(TMAZ-(a+β))side joint,a large number of nanocrystalline a phases form with different *** microstructure strengthens significantly by fine grains which balances partial softening effect of a dissolution,and increases nanohardness of a phase and microhardness of TMAZ-(a+β).Superlattice metastableβphase precipitates from metastableβin Weld Zone(WZ)during quick cooling following welding,because of short-range diffusion migration of solute atoms,especiallyβstabilizing elements Mo and *** precipitation of the superlattice metastableβphase results in precipitation strengthening,which in turn increases nanohardness of metastableβand microhardness in WZ.

Self-adaptive gas flow and phase change behaviors during hydrate exploitation by alternate injection of N2 and CO_(2)

Since hydrate resources play a part of the stratigraphic framework structure in sediments,establishing a safe and economic method for hydrates exploitation remains the primary challenge to this *** the proposed methods,the spontaneous displacement of CH_(4) from hydrate cages by CO_(2) seems to be a perfect mechanism to address gas production and CO_(2) storage,especially in today's strong demand for carbon reduction and replacing clean *** extensive lab researches,in the past decade,injecting a mixture of CO_(2) and small molecule gas has become a key means to enhance displacement efficiency and has great potential for ***,there is a lack of in-depth research on gas flow in the reservoir,while the injected gas always passes through low-saturated hydrate areas with high permeability and then occurs gas channel in a short term,finally resulting in the decreases in gas production efficiency and produced gas ***,we explored a new injection-production mode of alternate injection of N2 and CO_(2) in order to fully coordinate the advantages of N2 in enhanced hydrate decomposition and CO_(2) in solid storage and heat *** alternate"taking"and"storing"processes perfectly repair the problem of the gas channel,achieving self-regulation effect of CH_(4) recovery and CO_(2) *** 3-D experimental results show that compared to the mixed gas injection,CH_(4) recovery is increased by>50%and CO_(2) storage is increased by>70%.Additionally,this alternate injection mode presented a better performance in CH_(4) concentration of produced gas and showed outstanding N2 utilization ***,we analyzed its self-adaptive gas flow mechanism and proposed an application model of"one injection and multiple production".We look forward to this study accelerating the application of CO_(2)-CH_(4) replacement technology.

Recently,many lead-free metal halides with diverse structures and highly efficient emission have been ***,their poor stability and single-mode emission color severely limit their ***,three homologous Sb^(3+)-doped zero-dimensional(0D)air-stable Sn(IV)-based metal halides with different crystal structures were developed by inserting a single organic ligand into SnCl_(4)lattice,which brings different optical *** photoexcitation,(C_(25)H_(22)P)SnC_(l5)@Sb⋅CH_(4O)(Sb^(3+)−1)does not emit light,(C_(25)H_(22)P)_(2)SnC_(l6)@Sb-α(Sb^(3+)−2α)shines bright yellow emission with a photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 92%,and(C_(25)H_(22)P)_(2)SnC_(l6)@Sb-β(Sb^(3+)−2β)exhibits intense red emission with a PLQY of 78%.The above three compounds show quite different optical properties should be due to their different crystal structures and the lattice ***,Sb^(3+)−1 can be successfully converted into Sb^(3+)−2αunder the treatment of C_(25)H_(22)PCl solution,accompanied by a transition from nonemission to efficient yellow emission,serving as a“turn-on”photoluminescence(PL)***,a reversible structure conversion between Sb^(3+)−2αand Sb^(3+)−2βwas witnessed after dichloromethane or volatilization treatment,accompanied by yellow and red emission ***,a triple-mode tunable PL switching of off-onI-onII can be constructed in Sb^(3+)-doped Sn(IV)-based ***,we demonstrated the as-synthesized compounds in fluorescent anticounterfeiting,information encryption,and optical logic gates.

Review of Iron-Based Catalysts for Carbon Dioxide Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis

Capturing and utilizing CO_(2)from the production process is the key to solving the excessive CO_(2)emission problem. CO_(2)hydrogenation with green hydrogen to produce olefins is an effective and promising way to utilize CO_(2)and produce valuable chemicals. The olefins can be produced by CO_(2)hydrogenation through two routes, i.e., CO_(2)-FTS (carbon dioxide Fischer- Tropsch synthesis) and MeOH (methanol-mediated), among which CO_(2)-FTS has significant advantages over MeOH in practical applications due to its relatively high CO_(2)conversion and low energy consumption potentials. However, the CO_(2)-FTS faces challenges of difficult CO_(2)activation and low olefins selectivity. Iron-based catalysts are promising for CO_(2)-FTS due to their dual functionality of catalyzing RWGS and CO-FTS reactions. This review summarizes the recent progress on iron-based catalysts for CO_(2)hydrogenation via the FTS route and analyzes the catalyst optimization from the perspectives of additives, active sites, and reaction mechanisms. Furthermore, we also outline principles and challenges for rational design of high-performance CO_(2)-FTS catalysts.

A robust vector tracking loop structure based on potential bias analysis

This paper proposes a robust vector tracking loop structure based on potential bias analysis. The influence of four kinds of biases on the existing two implementations of Vector Tracking Loops(VTLs) is illustrated by theoretical analysis and numerical simulations, and the following findings are obtained. Firstly, the initial user state bias leads to steady navigation solution bias in the relative VTL, while new measurements can eliminate it in the absolute VTL. Secondly, the initial code phase bias is transferred to the following navigation solutions in the relative VTL, while new measurements can eliminate it in the absolute VTL. Thirdly, the user state bias induced by erroneous navigation solution of VTLs can be eliminated by both of the two VTLs. Fourthly,the multipath/NLOS likely affects the two VTLs, and the induced tracking bias in the duration of the multipath/NLOS would decrease the performance of VTLs. Based on the above analysis,a robust VTL structure is proposed, where the absolute VTL is selected for its robustness to the two kinds of initialization biases;meanwhile, the instant bias detection and correction method is used to improve the performance of VTLs in the duration of the multipath/NLOS. Numerical simulations and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed robust VTL structure.

Spontaneous Recovery in Directed Dynamical Networks

Complex networked systems,which range from biological systems in the natural world to infrastructure systems in the human-made world,can exhibit spontaneous recovery after a failure;for example,a brain may spontaneously return to normal after a seizure,and traffic flow can become smooth again after a *** studies on the spontaneous recovery of dynamical networks have been limited to undirected ***,most real-world networks are *** fill this gap,we build a model in which nodes may alternately fail and recover,and we develop a theoretical tool to analyze the recovery properties of directed dynamical *** find that the tool can accurately predict the final fraction of active nodes,and the prediction accuracy decreases as the fraction of bidirectional links in the network increases,which emphasizes the importance of directionality in network *** to different initial states,directed dynamical networks may show alternative stable states under the same control parameter,exhibiting hysteresis *** addition,for networks with finite sizes,the fraction of active nodes may jump back and forth between high and low states,mimicking repetitive failure-recovery *** findings could help clarify the system recovery mechanism and enable better design of networked systems with high resilience.

Composite polymer electrolytes(CPEs)have attracted much attention for high energy density solid-state lithium-metal batteries owing to their flexibility,low cost,and easy ***,the unstable Li/CPE interface is always challengeable for the practical utilization of ***,a polymer interlayer containing K+prepared by ultraviolet(UV)-curing precursor solution is coated on Li surface to stabilize the interface between poly(vinylidene difluoride)(PVDF)composite electrolytes and Li *** from the physical barrier of the interlayer,the continuous decomposition of PVDF is restrained and the intimate contact between electrode and electrolyte is also achieved to reduce the interface ***,the added K+is utilized to further regulate smooth Li *** a consequence,the symmetric Li|Li cell with coated Li demonstrates steady cycling at 0.4 mAh·cm^(-2) and a high critical current density of 1 mA·cm^(-2).The assembled Li|LiFePO_(4) cell presents outstanding cycling stability(capacity retention of 90%after 400 cycles at 1 C)and good rate *** associated pouch cell performs impressive flexibility and *** work provides a convenient strategy to achieve stable Li/PVDF interface for high-performance PVDF-based solid state Li metal batteries.

Titanium dioxide E171 consumption exacerbates Listeria monocytogenes infection in mice

The food additive titanium dioxide is commonly utilized to enhance the appearance and flavor of food ***,this substance has been linked to gastrointestinal *** aim of this study was to investigate the impact of dietary exposure of titanium dioxide E171 on Listeria monocytogenes infection in *** were mainly divided into the control,LM group(*** infection),and E171+LM groups(E171 supplementation before *** infection).Pre-exposure to E171 resulted in increased bacterial counts in the liver,spleen,ileum,colon,mesenteric lymph nodes,and feces of mice after *** ***,E171 exposure increased the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines while attenuating the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines in mice infected with ***,mice in the E171+LM group exhibited considerably more severe colonic inflammation and worse intestinal barrier function than mice in the LM *** 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed a shift in the composition of the gut microbiota of mice in the E171+LM group,characterized by a decrease in the relative abundance of Firmicutes and a decrease in the Firmicutes-to-Bacteroidetes *** levels of acetate,butyrate,and isobutyrate were markedly decreased within the cecum of mice in the E171+LM group in comparison to mice in the LM *** conclusion,these results suggest that E171 exposure could exacerbate *** infection in mice,which may provide useful information for future risk assessment of this commonly used food additive.

Evaluation of the binding affinity and antioxidant activity of phlorizin to pepsin and trypsin

Phlorizin(PHL)is a natural compound with strong antioxidant properties mainly found in *** this paper,the interaction mechanism of PHL with pepsin and trypsin was comparatively evaluated by computer simulation,fluorescence spectra,circular dichroism(CD),and Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectra at a molecular *** spectra showed that PHL quenches the pepsin/trypsin by static *** parameters indicated that PHL binds to pepsin mainly through hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces,and that of trypsin was electrostatic *** ground state complexes PHL and protease have a moderate affinity of 105 L/mol PHL binds more strongly to trypsin than to *** and FT-IR spectra results showed that pepsin/trypsin decreased theβ-sheet content and slightly changed its secondary structure upon *** experimental results are mutually verified with the predicted computer-aid simulation *** PHL and trypsin binding,the antioxidant capacity of PHL was ***,the antioxidant capacity of PHL was decreased after binding to *** work elucidates the binding of PHL binding mechanisms to pepsin/trypsin and provides useful information for the digestion of PHL to improve the application of PHL in food processing.
