Trans-2,2?,4,4?-tetramethyl-6,6?-dinitro azobenzene (C16H16N4O4, Mr = 328.32) was isolated from benzene extract of the leaves of Aconitum sungpanense Hand. Mazz. as a new compound, and characterized by spectral methods and X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 8.544(1), b = 13.997(2), c = 7.161(1) ? ?= 112.97(1), v = 788.4(2) ?, Z = 4, Dc = 1.383 g/cm3, F(000) = 344 and ?MoKa) = 0.102 mm-1. The final R = 0.0395 and wR = 0.1140 for 1913 independent reflections with Rint = 0.0109 and 1329 observed reflections with I > 2s(I). The molecule is composed of two phenyl rings through trans N=N.

Unique two-dimensional(2D)porous nanosheets with overwhelmingly rich channels and large specific surface area exhibit superior electrochemical capacitance performance,as compared to the conventional zero-and one-dimensional *** ternary transition metal sulfides(TMSs)are well recognized for their high electrochemical activity and capacity,and the replacement of oxygen with sulfur may result in high stability and flexible properties of the nanomaterials,as compared to transition metal oxides,herein we report the synthesis of 2D porous nanosheet arrays of Zn_(x)Co_(1-x)S(x=0,0.25,0.5,0.75,and 1)via a facile hydrothermal *** to the synergistic effect of the metal components and a unique 2D porous structure,the Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S electrode was found to stand out as the best among the series,with a high specific capacity of 614 C g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1)and excellent cycle retention rate of 90%over 10,000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1).Notably,a supercapattery based on a Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S positive electrode and an activated carbon(AC)negative electrode(Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S//AC)was found to display a 1.6 v voltage window,a 61 mA h g^(-1)specific capacity at 1 A g^(-1),a 49 Wh kg^(-1)energy density at 957 W kg^(-1)power density,and excellent cycling performance(88%over 10,000 cycles),suggesting tremendous potential of Zn_(0.5)Co_(0.5)S in the development of high-performance supercapattery devices.

In this paper a model for suggesting a smart parking that involves a set of electric cars is presented to auction the management ability and correct parking planning in reserve spinning market, secondary energy market and grid. Parking interest under various scenarios is analyzed and its effective results are presented by a valid model. Besides, particle swarm optimization algorithm is used for calculating maximum benefit.

A central composite rotatable design and response surface methodology were used in order to investigate the individual and combined effects of the ethanol-to-oil ratio, H2SO4 concentration, temperature and time of reaction on the reduction of free fatty acid （FFA） in jatropha oil. A quadratic polynomial model relating the reaction variables with FFA reduction was developed, presenting a good coefficient of determination （R2= 0.893）. For reducing FFA to less than 1%, the optimal combination was found to be 0.62 v.v^-1 ethanol-to-oil ratio （14.9 v.v^-1 ethanol-to-FFA ratio）, 1.7% *** H2SO4 concentration, and 79 rain reaction time at a reaction temperature of 54℃. These results are of great relevance to maximize methyl esters formation by transesterification using an alkaline catalyst.

Splicing of Receptor-Like Kinase-Encoding SNC4 and CERK1 is Regulated by Two Conserved Splicing Factors that Are Required for Plant Immunity

Plant immune receptors belonging to the receptor-like kinase （RLK） family play important roles in the recog- nition of microbial pathogens and activation of downstream defense responses. The Arabidopsis mutant snc4-1D con- tains a gain-of-function mutation in the RLK SNC4 （SUPPRESSOR OF NPRI-1, CONSTITUTIvE4）, which leads to constitutive activation of defense responses. Analysis of suppressor mutants of snc4-1D identified two conserved splicing factors, SUA （SUPPRESSOR OF ABI3-5） and RSN2 （REQUIRED FOR SNC4-1D 2）, that are required for the constitutive defense responses in snc4-1D. In sua and rsn2 mutants, SNC4 splicing is altered and the amount of 5NC4 transcripts is reduced. Further analysis showed that SUA and RSN2 are also required for the proper splicing of CERK1 （CHITIN ELICITOR RECEPTOR KINASE1）, which encodes another RLK that functions as a receptor for chitin. In sua and rsn2 mutants, induction of reactive oxygen species by chitin is reduced and the non-pathogenic bacteria Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3OOOhrcC grows to higher titers than in wild-type plants. Our study suggests that pre-mRNA splicing plays important roles in the regulation of plant immunity mediated by the RLKs SNC4 and CERK1.

Gifted children are able to learn in a more advanced way than others, probably due to neurophysiological differences in the communication efficiency in neural pathways. Topological features contribute to understanding the correlation between the brain structure and intelligence. Despite decades of neuroscience research using MRI, methods based on brain region connectivity patterns are limited by MRI artifacts, which therefore leads to revisiting MRI morphometric features, with the aim of using them to directly identify gifted children instead of using brain connectivity. However, the small, high-dimensional morphometric feature dataset with outliers makes the task of finding good classification models challenging. To this end, a hybrid method is proposed that combines tensor completion and feature selection methods to handle outliers and then select the discriminative features. The proposed method can achieve a classification accuracy of 93.1%, higher than other existing algorithms, which is thus suitable for the small MRI datasets with outliers in supervised classification scenarios.

A state-of-the art Rayleigh and Mie backscattering lidar was set up at Gadanki （13.5°N, 79.2°E） in the Tropics in India. Using this system, regular observations of upper tropospheric clouds, aerosols at stratospheric heights and atmospheric temperatures in the range from 30 to 80 km were made. In this paper, the data collected during the period of 1998-99 were selected for systematic investigation and presentation. The Mie scattering lidar system is capable of measuring the degree of depolarization in the laser backscattering. Several tropical cirrus cloud structures have been identified with low to moderate ice content. Occasionally, thin sub-visible cirrus clouds in the vicinity of the tropical tropopause have also been detected. The aerosol measurements in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere show low aerosol content with a vertical distribution up to 35 km altitude. Rayleigh-scattering lidar observations reveal that at the tropical site, temperature inversion occurs at mesospheric heights. Atmospheric waves have induced perturbations in the temperatures for several times at the upper stratospheric heights. A significant warming in the lower mesosphere associated with a consistent cooling in the upper stratospheric heights is observed particularly in the winter season during the events of sudden stratospheric warming （ssw）.

We report a 26-year-old man with critical aortic coarctation, severe bicuspid aortic valve stenosis, infective endocarditis and ascending aortic aneurysm. He underwent simultaneously in singlestage a Bentall’s procedure and an extra-anatomic ascending-descending aortic bypass grafting by 14-mm Dacron tube, through median sternotomy. The immediate postoperative outcome was favourable. The CT scan control for 7 years after surgery showed a good patency of the extra-anatomic bypass.
