We aimed to study radiomics approach based on biparametric magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)for determining significant residual cancer after androgen deprivation therapy(ADT).Ninety-two post-ADT prostate cancer patients underwent MRI before prostatectomy(62 with significant residual disease and 30 with complete response or minimum residual disease[CR/MRD]).Totally,100 significant residual,52 CR/MRD lesions,and 70 benign tissues were selected according to ***,381 radiomics features were extracted from T2-weighted imaging,diffusion-weighted imaging,and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)*** features were selected using a support vector machine with a recursive feature elimination algorithm(SVM-RFE).Then,ADC values of significant residual,CR/MRD lesions,and benign tissues were compared by one-way analysis of *** regression was used to construct models with SVM features to differentiate between each pair of ***,the efficiencies of ADC value and radiomics models for differentiating the three tissues were assessed by area under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC).The ADC value(mean±standard deviation[s.d.])of significant residual lesions([1.10±0.02]×10^(-3)mm^(2)s^(−1))was significantly lower than that of CR/MRD([1.17±0.02]×10^(-3)mm^(2)s^(−1)),which was significantly lower than that of benign tissues([1.30±0.02]×10^(-3)mm^(2)s^(−1);both P0.05),but superior to ADC value in differentiating significant residual from CR/MRD(AUC:0.748 vs 0.558;P=0.041).Radiomics approach with biparametric MRI could promote the detection of significant residual prostate cancer after ADT.

Data on breeding ecology of a color-band marked population of the ground tit Parus humilis were collected in north Qinghai on the Tibetan plateau, during 2008 and 2009. In spring the birds excavated 0.8-3.2 m long nesting burrows under the ground. First-egg laying occurred between late April and late June during which a pair produced one brood. Incubation was done by female alone for 15-16 days and nestling-feeding by both sexes and helpers in any for 23-25 days. Average brood size at fledging was 5.8 （＋ 1.4 SD, 3-8） and all the 27 observed nesting attempts fledged at least one young. At the population level, brood sex ratio did not differ from 1：1. The birds are a territory-living resident, with annual resight rates being 48% （22 of 46） in adult breeders and 10% （7 of 67） in yearlings. Pairs were socially monogamous, of which 23% （9 of 40） contained one and some- times two male helpers, most likely being philopatric sons of the breeders. The formation of cooperative groups is similar to the population in central Tibet but differs from that in south Guansu where breeding ground tits exhibit a high level of annual turnover

The cost-effective organic semiconductors are strongly needed in organic photovoltaics(OPVs). Herein,two medium bandgap(MBG) electron acceptors, TPT4F and TPT4Cl are developed via the new design of multi-noncovalent interaction assisted unfused core, flanked with two electron withdrawing end groups. These fullly non-fused MBG acceptors adapt the planar and rigid conformation in solid, therefore exhibiting the ordered face-on stacking and strong photoluminescence in films. As results, TPT4Cl^(-)based OPVs, upon blending with the PBDB-TF polymer donor, have achieved a power conversion efficiency of 10.16% with a low non-radiative loss of 0.27 e V, representing one of the best fullly non-fused medium bandgap acceptors with desirable cost-efficiency balance.

Biotemplated metal nanoclusters have garnered much attention owing to their wide range of potential applications in biosensing, bioimaging, catalysis, and nanomedicine. Here, we report the synthesis of stable, biocompatible, watersoluble, and highly fluorescent bovine serum albumin-templated cadmium nanoclusters （CdNcs） through a facile one-pot green method. We covalently conjugated hyaluronic acid （HA） to the CdNcs to form a pH-responsive, tumor- targeting theranostic nanocarrier with a sustained release profile for doxorubicin （DOX）, a model anticancer drug. The nanocarrier showed a DOX encapsulation efficiency of about 75.6%. DOX release profiles revealed that 74% of DOX was released at pH 5.3, while less than 26% of DOX was released at pH 7.4 within the same 24-h period. The nanocarrier selectively recognized MCF-7 breast cancer cells expressing CD44, a cell surface receptor for HA, whereas no such recognition was observed with HA receptor-negative HEK293 cells. Biocompatibility of the nanocarrier was evaluated through cytotoxicity assays with HEK293 and MCF-7 ceils. The nanocarrier exhibited very low to no cytotoxicity, whereas the DOX-loaded nanocarrier showed considerable cellular uptake and enhanced MCF-7 breast cancer cell-killing ability. We also confirmed the feasibility of using the highly fluorescent nanoconjugate for bioimaging of MCF-7 and HeLa cells. The superior targeted drug delivery efficacy, cellular imaging capability, and low cytotoxicity position this nanoconjugate as an exciting new nanoplatform with promising biomedical applications.

A sol-gel processing was used to low temperature. Orthorhombic synthesize （Cao.61,Ndo.26）TiO3 （CNT） perovskite structure phase with a smal nanoparticles doped with Li-Cu-B at amount of Li3BO3 secondary phase was formed by calcining the xerogels at 300℃, and monodisperse CNT nano-powders with the grain size of 10-15 nm could be obtained. By using these nanocrystalline CNT powders, dense CNT ceramics could be achieved at the low sintering temperature of 1100℃ due to the effect of the small size nanoparticles and liquid phase Li3BO3. And the dielectric properties with dielectric constant （εr= 89.52）, quality value factors with frequency （Q×f=17148 GHz） and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency （τf） value of ＋239×10^-6/℃ were achieved.

The present investigation deals with an application of integrated sequential oxic and anoxic bioreactor（SOABR） and fluidized immobilized cell carbon oxidation（FICCO） reactor for the treatment of domestic wastewater with minimum sludge generation. The performance of integrated SOABR-FICCO system was evaluated on treating the domestic wastewater at hydraulic retention time（HRT） of 3 hr and 6 hr for 120 days at organic loading rate（OLR）of 191 ± 31 mg/（L·hr）. The influent wastewater was characterized by chemical oxygen demand（COD） 573 ± 93 mg/L; biochemical oxygen demand（BOD5） 197 ± 35 mg/L and total suspended solids（TSS） 450 ± 136 mg/L. The integrated SOABR-FICCO reactors have established a significant removal of COD by 94% ± 1%, BOD5 by 95% ± 0.6% and TSS by 95% ± 4% with treated domestic wastewater characteristics COD 33 ± 5 mg/L; BOD59 ± 0.8 mg/L and TSS 17 ± 9 mg/L under continuous mode of operation for 120 days. The mass of dry sludge generated from SOABR-FICCO system was 22.9 g/m3. The sludge volume index of sludge formed in the SOABR reactor was 32 mL/g and in FICCO reactor it was 46 mL/g. The sludge formed in SOABR and FICCO reactor was characterized by TGA, DSC and SEM analysis. Overall, the results demonstrated that the integrated SOABR-FICCO reactors substantially removed the pollution parameters from domestic wastewater with minimum sludge production.

The therapeutic outcomes of conventional oral medications against ulcerative colitis(UC)are restricted by inefficient drug delivery to the colitis mucosa and weak capacity to modulate the inflammatory ***,a fluorinated pluronic(FP127)was synthesized and employed to functionalize the surface of mulberry leaf-derived nanoparticles(MLNs)loading with resveratrol nanocrystals(RNs).The obtained FP127@RN-MLNs possessed exosome-like morphologies,desirable particle sizes(around 171.4 nm),and negatively charged surfaces(−14.8 mV).The introduction of FP127 to RN-MLNs greatly improved their stability in the colon and promoted their mucus infiltration and mucosal penetration capacities due to the unique fluorine effect.

The objective of this study is to incorporate a numerical model with GIS to simulate the movement, erosion and deposition of debris flow across the three dimensional complex terrain. In light of the importance of erosion and deposition processes during debris flow movement, no entrainment assumption is unreasonable. The numerical model considering these processes is used for simulating debris flow. Raster grid networks of a digital elevation model in GIS provide a uniform grid system to describe complex topography. As the raster grid can be used as the finite difference mesh, the numerical model is solved numerically using the Leap-frog finite difference method. Finally, the simulation results can be displayed by GIS easily and used to debris flow evaluation. To illustrate this approach, the proposed methodology is applied to the Yohutagawa debris flow that occurred on 2oth October 2010, in Amami- Oshima area, Japan. The simulation results that reproduced the movement, erosion and deposition are in good agreement with the field investigation. The effectiveness of the dam in this real-ease is also verified by this approach. Comparison with the results were simulated by other models, shows that the present coupled model is more rational and effective.
