Background:Concussed patients have impaired reaction time(RT)and cognition following injury that may linger and impair driving *** research has used direct methods to assess driving-RT *** study compared driving RT during simulated scenarios between concussed and control individuals and examined driving-RT’s relationship with traditional computerized neurocognitive testing(CNT)***:We employed a cross-sectional study among 14 concussed(15.9±9.8 days post-concussion,mean±SD)individuals and 14 healthy controls matched for age,sex,and driving *** completed a driving simulator and CNT(CNS Vital Signs)assessment within 48 h of symptom resolution.A driving-RT composite(ms)was derived from 3 simulated driving scenarios:stoplight(green to yellow),evasion(avoiding approaching vehicle),and pedestrian(person running in front of vehicle).The CNT domains included verbal and visual memory;CNT-RT(simple-,complex-,Stroop-RT individually);simple and complex attention;motor,psychomotor,and processing speed;executive function;and cognitive *** t tests and Hedge d effect sizes assessed driving-RT differences between groups,Pearson correlations(r)examined driving RT and CNT domain relationships among cohorts separately,and p values were controlled for false discovery rate via Benjamini-Hochberg procedures(a=0.05).Results:Concussed participants demonstrated slower driving-RT composite scores than controls(mean difference=292.86 ms;95%confidence interval(95%CI):70.18515.54;p=0.023;d=0.992).Evasion-RT(p=0.054;d=0.806),pedestrian-RT(p=0.258;d=0.312),and stoplight-RT(p=0.292;d=0.585)outcomes were not statistically significant after false-discovery rate corrections but demonstrated medium to large effect sizes for concussed *** concussed individuals,driving-RT outcomes did not significantly correlate with CNT domains(r-range:0.51 to 0.55;p>0.05).No correlations existed between driving-RT outcomes a

Indonesian National Sport Committee, hereinafter called KONI, is the government body which has the authority to organize sport development in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the social capital of regional KONI in Central Java which potentially support the implementation of the National Sport System Law. It also aims to analyze the relevant strategy to empower the social energy of KONI and to design the most appropriate model of KONI to solve problems raised after the law imposed. This study used qualitative approach with the idea of learning from people. This approach is a tool to understand the reality which moves the social capital of KONl. The result describes that the activities inside KONI reflect the reality of social capital. KONI as the social capital is a need for the development of the productive cooperation in the society. The existence of the article 40 might influence the characteristics of KONI as the social capital. The model of KONI as an organization of sport should be built in five potential elements：（1） democracy as an ideology, （2） freedom as a purpose, （3） empowerment as a function, （4） social justice as policy, and （5） discretion as a method.

Background: The distribution of forest vegetation within urban environments is critically important as it influences urban environmental conditions and the energy exchange through the absorption of solar radiation and modulation of evapotranspiration. It also plays an important role filtering urban water systems and reducing storm water ***: We investigate the capacity of ALS data to individually detect, map and characterize large(taller than15 m) trees within the City of Vancouver. Large trees are critical for the function and character of Vancouver’s urban forest. We used an object-based approach for individual tree detection and segmentation to determine tree locations(position of the stem), to delineate the shape of the crowns and to categorize the latter either as coniferous or ***: Results indicate a detection rate of 76.6% for trees > 15 m with a positioning error of 2.11 m(stem location). Extracted tree heights possessed a RMSE of 2.60 m and a bias of-1.87 m, whereas crown diameter was derived with a RMSE of 3.85 m and a bias of-2.06 m. Missed trees are principally a result of undetected treetops occurring in dense, overlapping canopies with more accurate detection and delineation of trees in open ***: By identifying key structural trees across Vancouver’s urban forests, we can better understand their role in providing ecosystem goods and services for city residents.

This paper explores the perceived relationship between household poverty and forest dependence among the poorest residents neighboring Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Using the sustainable livelihoods framework, this paper examines the influence of household poverty on forest dependence. The findings reveal that food and health security risks are primary drivers of forest dependence. Education security risks however, were found to have an indirect influence. Both food and health security risks were found to have equal influence on forest dependence. The economic security risks traditionally believed to significantly influence forest dependence were not found to have a direct influence.

Purpose： The purpose of this study was to compare children＇s physical activity （PA） levels, self-efficacy, and enjoyment when experiencing dance-exergaming （Dance Dance Revolution, DDR） and aerobic dance in physical education. Methods： A total of 53 urban fourth grade children were divided into two groups, with one group playing DDR and the other group engaged in aerobic dance. After 15 min, the groups switched activities and continued their respective activities for another 15 min. Participants wore NL- 1000 pedometers in four consecutive sessions, and responded to a questionnaire measuring their self-efficacy and enjoyment toward two dance activities at the end of the first session. Results： Children spent more moderate-to-vigorous PA （MVPA） time （p 〈 0.01, 72 = 0.49） in aerobic dance than DDR. Additionally, children reported significantly higher self-efficacy （p 〈 0.001, 72 = 0.28） and enjoyment （p 〈 0.01, η2 = 0.18） in DDR than in aerobic dance. Conclusion： Health care professionals and educators may not replace the traditional PAs and sports with interactive video games, but may use exergaming as an excellent addition to promote PA. Accessibility is a factor affecting national park ***,the effect of accessibility on national park visitation is not fully *** paper examines the relationship between *** park visitation and ***,the global and local accessibility indexes of each park unit are computed based on an accessibility model that takes into account the surrounding population and its proximity to the park *** in the model is a distance decay coefficient that is derived from *** park visitor surveys and therefore pertinent to the case of *** correlation analysis is performed between park visitation and accessibility based on park types,regions,and visitation *** show that total visitation is positively related to accessibility in National Memorials,Military Parks and Battlefield Parks/Sites but negatively related to accessibility in national parks and national ***,recreational overnight stay visits are commonly negatively correlated to accessibility for almost all park ***,local accessibility index displays enhanced correlation coefficients with improved significance levels in many categories of *** suggest that historical/cultural national parks which often show positive correlations tend to attract more local visitors,but nature-based parks which mainly show negative correlations tend to attract more distant visitors.
