Silicon(Si)-based solid-state batteries(Si-SSBs)are attracting tremendous attention because of their high energy density and unprecedented safety,making them become promising candidates for next-generation energy storage ***,the commercialization of Si-SSBs is significantly impeded by enormous challenges including large volume variation,severe interfacial problems,elusive fundamental mechanisms,and unsatisfied electrochemical ***,some unknown electrochemical processes in Si-based anode,solid-state electrolytes(SSEs),and Si-based anode/SSE interfaces are still needed to be explored,while an in-depth understanding of solid–solid interfacial chemistry is insufficient in *** review aims to summarize the current scientific and technological advances and insights into tackling challenges to promote the deployment of ***,the differences between various conventional liquid electrolyte-dominated Si-based lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with Si-SSBs are ***,the interfacial mechanical contact model,chemical reaction properties,and charge transfer kinetics(mechanical–chemical kinetics)between Si-based anode and three different SSEs(inorganic(oxides)SSEs,organic–inorganic composite SSEs,and inorganic(sulfides)SSEs)are systemically reviewed,***,the progress for promising inorganic(sulfides)SSE-based Si-SSBs on the aspects of electrode constitution,three-dimensional structured electrodes,and external stack pressure is highlighted,***,future research directions and prospects in the development of Si-SSBs are proposed.

The effects of Tai Chi exercise on cognitive function in older adults:A meta-analysis

Background:Cognitive impairment is prevalent among older adults and results in degraded quality of life for older *** the population ages,this may cause a huge burden to *** has demonstrated that physical exercise is beneficial to cognitive *** purpose of this meta-analysis was to critically assess the effect of Tai Chi exercise on global cognitive,executive,and memory functions in older ***:After a thorough electronic search and selection,eight studies were included in this meta-analysis with two cross-sectional and six intervention *** variables included in this meta-analysis were:mini mental status examination(MMSE),Alzheimer’s disease assessment scale-cognitive subscale(ADAS-cog),trailmaking test part A(TMA),trailmaking test part B(TMB),digit span test forward(DSF),digit span test backward(DSB),visual span test backward(VSB),verbal fluency test(VFT),and word delay recall test(WDR).The effect sizes and forest plots of these nine variables were ***:Four(MMSE,DSB,VSB,and VFT)out of nine variables were significantly improved after Tai Chi exercise with the effect sizes ranged from 0.20 to 0.46(small to medium).MMSE represented global cognitive function,and DSB,VSB,and VFT represented memory ***:Tai Chi as a mind-body exercise has the positive effects on global cognitive and memory functions,and more consistent positive effects were found on memory function,especially verbal working memory.

Synthesis and Characterization of Pr(DPM)_3 Served as Precursor for MOCVD

Praseodymium β-diketone chelate, Pr （DPM）3 [ DPM = 2,2,6,6 -tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedionato ], was successfully synthesized from the inorganic salt praseodymium chloride and HDPM（2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptane-dione） in an ethanol/aqueous solution followed distillation at low pressure and recrystallization from toluene. The physical and thermal properties of the chelate, including volatility, stability, and thermal decomposition, were investigated by elemental analyses, 1^H NMR spectroscopy, XRD, TG/DTG/DTA analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and mass spectroscopy. The chelate with high purity prepared by the authors of this study also shows sufficient volatility and Stability in inert gases, which could be used as the precursor for metal-organic chemical vapor deposition（MOCVD）.

Early Prevention of Exercise-induced Tibia Periostitis for Long-Distance Runners in China＇ s Regular Universities

Exercise-induced tibia periostitis is one of the most common sports injuries in the sports training of athletics in regular institutions of higher learning. It often occurs. When it is serious, periosteal proliferation would occur, It will result in fatigue fi^cture sometimes. This is relevant to tibialis anterior muscle restrained contraction in the events in the sports process. If measures are not adopted, early prevention should be strengthened. This would not only affect seriously the sports achievement of long-distance runners, but also affects their future ordinary lives. Through analysis and summaries, the main reasons for the occurrence of tibia periostitis for long-distance runners are shown. From the perspectives of reasonably arranging the exercise load, strengthening the field management and strengthening the self-protection and so on, the prevention of tibia periostitis for long-distance runners has been explored. It also helps the long-distance runners to train scientifically, which can effectively avoid and lessen the occurrence of tibia periostitis and the adverse effect it brings.

Emergent Swarming States in Active Particles System with Opposite Anisotropic Interactions

From the organization of animal flocks to the emergence of swarming behaviors in bacterial suspension,populations of motile organisms at all scales display coherent collective *** studies showed that the anisotropic interaction between active particles plays a key role in the phase *** we investigate the collective behaviors of based-active Janus particles that experience an anisotropic interaction of which the orientation is opposite to the direction of active force by using Langevin dynamics simulations in two dimensional ***,the system shows emergence of collective swarming states upon increasing the total area fraction of particles,which is not observed in systems without anisotropic interaction or *** threshold for emergence of swarming states decreases as particle activity or interaction strength *** have also performed basic kinetic analysis to reproduce the essential features of the simulation *** results demonstrate that anisotropic interactions at the individual level are sufficient to set homogeneous active particles into stable directed motion.

Analyzing Dominant 13.5 and 27 day Periods of Solar Terrestrial Interaction:A New Insight into Solar Cycle Activities

Our analysis presents an explanation of the Sun–Earth coupling mechanism during declining phase of a solar cycle,and how the dominant 13.5 and 27 day periods play roles in the coupling mechanism which led to intense terrestrial magnetic storms during this declining phase compared to the rising phase of a solar ***,it is observed that while the 27 day period gets strongly modulated in the rising phase,the 13.5 day period modulation is more prominent during the declining *** is suggested that out of the 27 and 13.5 day periods of Sun–Earth interaction,the preferred period of modulation happens to be the one which is more dominant for the less random or quieter system participating in the *** is reported for the first time that the 13.5 day period is more prominent in the Sun–Earth interaction during the declining phase of a solar cycle,as it is the most dominant period of Earth's magnetic system,which happens to be more persistent as a dynamical system and hence quieter or more receptive than the Sun.
