Pathogenic microorganisms produce numerous metabolites,including volatile organic compounds(VOCs).Monitoring these metabolites in biological matrices(e.g.,urine,blood,or breath)can reveal the presence of specific microorganisms,enabling the early diagnosis of infections and the timely implementation of tar-geted ***,complex matrices only contain trace levels of VOCs,and their constituent com-ponents can hinder determination of these ***,modern analytical techniques enabling the non-invasive identification and precise quantification of microbial VOCs are *** this paper,we discuss bacterial VOC analysis under in vitro conditions,in animal models and disease diagnosis in humans,including techniques for offline and online analysis in clinical *** also consider the advantages and limitations of novel microextraction techniques used to prepare biological samples for VOC analysis,in addition to reviewing current clinical studies on bacterial volatilomes that address inter-species in-teractions,the kinetics of VOC metabolism,and species-and drug-resistance specificity.

The ability of mosquitoes to transmit a pathogen is affected,among other factors,by their survival rate,which is partly modulated by their *** microbiota is acquired during the larval phase and modified during their development and adult feeding behavior,being highly dependent on environmental *** residues including antibiotics are widespread pollutants potentially being present in mosquito breeding waters likely affecting their ***,we used Culex pipiens mosquitoes to assess the impact of antibiotic exposure during the larval and adult stages on the survival rate of adult ***-collected larvae were randomly assigned to two treatments:larvae maintained in water supplemented with antibiotics and control *** adults were subsequently assigned to each of two treatments,fed with sugar solution with antibiotics and fed only with sugar solution(controls).Larval exposure to antibiotics significantly increased the survival rate of adult females that received a control *** addition,the effect of adult exposure to antibiotics on the survival rate of both male and female mosquitoes depended on the number of days that larvae fed ad libitum in the laboratory before *** particular,shorter larval ad libitum feeding periods reduced the survival rate of antibiotic-treated adult mosquitoes compared with those that emerged after a longer larval feeding *** differences were not found in control adult *** results extend the current understanding of the impact of antibiotic exposure of mosquitoes on a key component of vectorial capacity,that is the vector survival rate.

Gabapentinoid drugs(pregabalin and gabapentin) have been successfully used in the treatment of neuro pathic pain and in focal seizure *** research has demonstrated their potent activities in modulating neurotransmitter release in neuronal tissue,oxidative stress,and inflammation,which matches the mechanism of action via voltage-gated calcium *** this review,we briefly elaborate on the medicinal history and ligand-binding sites of *** systematically summarize the preclinical and clinical research on gabapentinoids in stroke,including ischemic stro ke,intracerebral hemorrhage,subarachnoid hemorrhage,seizures after stro ke,cortical spreading depolarization after stroke,pain after stroke,and nerve regeneration after stro *** review also discusses the potential to rgets of gabapentinoids in stroke;however,the existing results are still unce rtain regarding the effect of gabapentinoids on stroke and related *** preclinical and clinical trials are needed to test the therapeutic potential of gabapentinoids in ***,gabapentinoids have both opportunities and challenges in the treatment of stroke.

Glioblastoma(GBM) is the most common invasive malignant tumor in human brain tumors, representing the most severe grade of gliomas. Despite existing therapeutic approaches, patient prognosis remains dismal, necessitating the exploration of novel strategies to enhance treatment efficacy and extend survival. Due to the restrictive nature of the blood-brain barrier(BBB), smallmolecule inhibitors are prioritized in the treatment of central nervous system tumors. Among these, DNA damage response(DDR) inhibitors have garnered significant attention due to their potent therapeutic potential across various malignancies. This review provides a detailed analysis of DDR pathways as therapeutic targets in GBM, summarizes recent advancements, therapeutic strategies, and ongoing clinical trials, and offers perspectives on future directions in this rapidly evolving field. The goal is to present a comprehensive outlook on the potential of DDR inhibitors in improving GBM management and outcomes.

Reactive oxygen species are closely related to tumor *** recent years,reactive oxygen species has become a hot spot in tumor therapy,and many natural substances in nature contain compound components with anti-tumor ***,there is a lack of discussion on the synergistic anti-tumor effects of natural products in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs through reactive oxygen *** terms“natural products”,“reactive oxygen species”,“anti-tumor”,and“chemotherapy”were used to identify the synergistic effects of natural *** conducted a systematic literature search in PubMed and Web of Science databases for relevant research articles and reviews published in recent *** systematically summarized the studies related to anti-tumor active ingredients in natural compounds in the field of reactive oxygen species in recent years.A total of 77 relevant literatures were *** them,45 literatures containing various natural products such as terpenoids,flavonoids,alkaloids,*** anti-tumor effects by regulating reactive oxygen species levels,and 32 literatures regarding adjunctive role of natural products in anti-tumor *** this study,we found that natural products exert anti-tumor effects by elevating reactive oxygen species *** provides strong theoretical support for future clinical studies.

Sentiment analysis is becoming increasingly important in today’s digital age, with social media being a significantsource of user-generated content. The development of sentiment lexicons that can support languages other thanEnglish is a challenging task, especially for analyzing sentiment analysis in social media reviews. Most existingsentiment analysis systems focus on English, leaving a significant research gap in other languages due to limitedresources and tools. This research aims to address this gap by building a sentiment lexicon for local languages,which is then used with a machine learning algorithm for efficient sentiment analysis. In the first step, a lexiconis developed that includes five languages: Urdu, Roman Urdu, Pashto, Roman Pashto, and English. The sentimentscores from SentiWordNet are associated with each word in the lexicon to produce an effective sentiment score. Inthe second step, a naive Bayesian algorithm is applied to the developed lexicon for efficient sentiment analysis ofRoman Pashto. Both the sentiment lexicon and sentiment analysis steps were evaluated using information retrievalmetrics, with an accuracy score of 0.89 for the sentiment lexicon and 0.83 for the sentiment analysis. The resultsshowcase the potential for improving software engineering tasks related to user feedback analysis and productdevelopment.

The application of photothermal therapy(PTT)is greatly limited by the low accumulation of photothermal agents,uneven photothermal distribution,and heat endurance of cancer *** still,despite PTT enhances immunogenicity,the anti-tumor immune efficacy is still unsatisfactory due to the inefficient immunogenic cell death(ICD)induction and poor infiltration of immune *** solve the above problems of PTT,we developed hyaluronic acid(HA)modified hollow copper sulfide nanoparticles encapsulating diethyldithiocarbamate(DDTC)to construct a breast tumor targeting and near infrared(NIR)photo-responsive drug delivery system(D-HCuS@HA),which further combined with losartan to improve the accumulation and penetration in the tumor *** irradiation,D-HCuS@HA realized enhanced PTT and released cytotoxic Cu(DDTC)_(2)to eliminate heat endurance tumor cells,thereby enhancing antitumor effect and inducing effective ***,the combination with losartan could remodel the tumor microenvironment,allowing more T cells to infiltrate into the tumor,and significantly inhibiting the occurrence and development of metastatic *** vitro/vivo results revealed the great potential of D-HCuS@HA combined with losartan,which provides a new paradigm for anti-tumor and anti-metastases.

Objective To study the way to better regulate the online sales of prescription drugs,and to provide reference for the adjustment of relevant policies since the online sales of prescription drugs has become an inevitable *** A game model was constructed for the strategy choice of pharmaceutical e-commerce platform,customers and government departments based on differential game theory and Nash equilibrium game model to analyze the pure strategy Nash equilibrium,Nash equilibrium dominant strategy of each subject and the mixed strategy Nash equilibrium under different ***,Matlab was used to carry out simulation *** and Conclusion The study shows that:(1)Improving the credibility of the government and reducing the cost of government regulation can not only make the pharmaceutical e-commerce platform operate with high quality,but also give greater play to government functions;(2)The greater the influence of social evaluation on pharmaceutical e-commerce platforms,the lower the cost of high-quality operation of pharmaceutical e-commerce platform,and the greater the probability of customer choosing real evaluation strategy;(3)The greater the customers’perception of potential risk,the greater the compensation,and the lower the cost of ***,the greater the probability that government departments will choose strict ***,the model solution and simulation analysis are combined to provide countermeasures and suggestions for the safety regulation of online sales of prescription drugs.
