Objective To evaluate the efficacy of arthroscopic surgery in inflammatory hip *** A retrospective clinical study was conducted inspecting 40 hips in 36 patients of inflammatory *** were 17 cases of ankylosing spondylitis,11 cases of rheumatoid arthritis,and 8 cases of psoriatic *** joints were irrigated and the inflamed tissues were debrided with *** patients were followed up with Harris hip score,Oxford hip score,Visual Analog Scale(VAS),and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Statistical analysis was performed using Student t *** All of the 36 cases were followed up for 46-103 months,averaging 67.2±8.4 *** and Oxford scores increased from 66.9±12.1 and 69.4±16.4 before operation to 78.4±19.3 and 80.2±18.8 after operation,respectively(P<0.05).VAS score decreased from pre-operative 8.5±2.5 to post-operative 7.2±2.5(P<0.05).All the patients showed improved joint range of *** revealed alleviation of hip *** results were classified as excellent in 8 patients,good in 17 patients,fair in 8 patient,and poor in 3 according to Harris hip ***-seven patients were satisfied with the operative outcomes as they regained normal daily *** Arthroscopy-assisted joint debridement and synovium resection is an effective procedure for hip lesion in inflammatory *** inflammatory lesion might be thereby controlled and the symptoms be relieved.

BACKGROUND Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). ALCL is rare as a bone lesion and in pregnancy. CASE SUMMARY We present the first case of anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)+ ALCL of the thoracic spine during pregnancy. A 25-year-old pregnant woman was presented to us at 24 wk’ gestation with severe back pain and weakness in the left lower limb. Imaging examination showed lesions at T10 and T11. She underwent posterior pedicle screw fixation and vertebroplasty. Pathological examination showed ALK+ ALCL. The patient chose to have therapeutic abortion after surgery and received chemotherapy in the hematology department. She now remains disease free with no neurological deficit after 30 mo’ follow-up. CONCLUSION ALK+ ALCL with the thoracic spine involvement is uncommon, especially in pregnancy. Many symptoms can be misunderstood during pregnancy;therefore, when a pregnant patient has persistent back pain or lower limb neurological symptoms, imaging examinations should be performed.

BACKGROUND：Studies have demonstrated that olfactory mucosa can promote the regeneration and formation of axonal medullary sheath of injured neurons. To date, olfactory ensheathing cells （OECs） utilized in basic and clinical research arise primarily from the olfactory bulb mucosa. However, little is known regarding culture, purification, and biological properties of OECs . OBJECTIVE： To isolate and culture OECs utilized modified, differential attachment in combination with neurotrophic factor 3 （NT3） and low concentration serum to explore an optimal in vitro culture method for ***, TIME AND SETTING： Single-sample observation was performed at the Medical Experimental Center of Stomatology College, Xi＇an Jiaotong University between March 2006 and December 2007. MATERIALS： Twelve samples from aborted embryos, 4-6 months, were used to isolate OECs; rabbit-anti-human p75NTR and glial fibrillary acidic protein （GFAP） antibody were provided by Sigma, USA. METHODS： The differential time was six hours. This was repeated twice, based on Nash＇s differential attachment. Attached OECs were cultured in DMEM-F12 culture medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum （FBS） or 2.5% FBS and NT3. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： OEC morphology was observed, and p75NTR and GFAP immunocyto-chemistry was used for identification and purity detection. RESULTS： Some cells attached after three days in culture. Several cells possessed short neurites with good refractivity. Some shuttle-shaped fibroblasts could be seen. On day six, more cells attached, exhibiting a three-dimensional appearance. Many cells appeared dipolar or tripolar, with slender neurites, and fibroblasts were clustered. On day nine, the number of dipolar or tripolar cell bodies with slender neurites was increased, and fibroblasts were clustered. On day 15, fibroblasts occupied the majority of the bottom of the culture bottle, with several OECs surviving at the upper layer. OECs were positive for P75NTR and GFAP expression, as ident

Objective:To investigate the inhibition effect of siRNA interference on NGF induced by inflammatory factor IL-6,and JUL—1 so as to provide novel targets for clinical treatment of discogenic low back ***:The intervertebral disc nucleus and annulus fibrosus cells of rats were separated-The cells were co-cultured with different concentrations(10 nmol/L,20nmol/L,50 nmol/L,100 nmol/L)of IL-6 and IL-1β.The NGF-siRNA was leaded into the cocultured cells with its import ability assessed by flow cytometry instrument tests,hefore and after which the NCF mRNA expression was detected by real-time Q-PCR and the NGF content was detected by ***:Flow cytometry instrument test results showed that the NGFsiRNA cell conversion rate was 99.8%.Real-time Q-PCR detection results showed that compared with negative control group,the NGF mRNA expression of co-cultured cells treated by 10 nmol/L,20 nmol/L,50 nmol/L,100 nmol/L IL-6 and IL-1βwere respectively raised 3.4,3.7,4.7,3.7 times which were all significantly down-regulated after the import of *** detection results showed that compared with negative control group,the NGF content of cocultured medium treated by 10 nmol/L,20 nmol/L,50 nmol/L,100 nmol/L I-L6 and IL-1βwere respectively raised 2.9,3.3,4.5,7.4 times which were all significantly decreased after the import of ***:These molecular biological results suggest that inflammatory factor IL-6 and IL-1βcould stimulate NCF on intervertebral disc cells in vitro culture model and its efficiency is concentration dependent,while siRNA interference can inhibit the stimulation effect of IL-6 and IL-1βon intervertebral disc cell,which provides a new targets for the clinical treatment of discogenic low back pain.

The study of lipid metabolism relies on the characterization of the lipidome,which is quite complex due to the structure variations of the lipid *** analytical tools have been developed recently for characterizing fine structures of lipids,with C=C location identification as one of the major *** this study,we studied the lipid metabolism reprograming by analyzing glycerol phospholipid compositions in breast cancer cell lines with structural specification extended to the C=C location *** of the lipid desaturase,stearoyl-CoA desaturase 1,increased the proportion of n-10 isomers that are produced via an alternative fatty acid desaturase 2 ***,there were different variations of the ratio of n-9/n-7 isomers in C18:1-containing glycerol phospholipids after stearoyl-CoA desaturase 1 inhibition,showing increased tendency in MCF-7 cells,MDA-MB-468 cells,and BT-474 cells,but decreased tendency in MDA-MB-231 *** consistent change of the ratio of n-9/n-7 isomers was observed in SK-BR-3 *** type of heterogeneity in reprogrammed lipid metabolism can be rationalized by considering both lipid desaturation and fatty acid oxidation,highlighting the critical roles of comprehensive lipid analysis in both fundamental and biomedical applications.

To observe clinical therapeutic effects of acupuncture combined with music therapy for treatment of cerebral palsy. Methods： Sixty children with cerebral palsy were randomly divided into an acupuncture group （Group Acup.） and an acupuncture plus music group （Group Acup.＋ M）. Simple acupuncture was applied in Group Acup., and acupuncture at 5 groups of points plus music were applied in Group Acup. ＋M., The treatment was given once every two days with 3 treatments weekly, and 36 treatments constituted a therapeutic course. Therapeutic effects including movement improvement were observed for comparison after 3 courses of treatments. Results： The comprehensive functions were elevated in both groups, and the total effective rate in Group Acup. ＋ M was obviously better than that in Group Acup （P〈0.05）. Movement functions were also improved in both groups, but the differences in improvement of creeping and kneeling, standing, and walking were significant between the two groups （P〈0.01）, showing the effect in Group Acup. ＋ M was better than that in Group Acup.. Conclusion： The therapy of acupuncture plus music gained better therapeutic effect on cerebral palsy than simple acupuncture, which provided new thoughts for treating the disease by comprehensive therapies.

In this article,one proved case of flaccid tongue treated by Guan’s tongue acupuncture was introduced by the three-step method of"puncture,prick,and swallowing".This case was an elderly female patient with Parkinson disease,which had the main clinical symptoms of flaccid and weak tongue,and speech and swallowing disorder,and was diagnosed as flaccid tongue(deficiency of the both qi and blood,and deficiency syndrome of liver and kidney).The patient received diagnosis and treatment based on an overall analysis of its dialectical characteristics,using the five acupoints of Heart,Jīnjīn(金津EX-HN12),Yùyè(玉液EX-HN13),Tongue root acupoint 1,and Tongue root acupoint 2 in ***,the four acupoints of EX-HN12,EX-HN13,Tongue root acupoint 1,and Tongue root acupoint 2 were punctured successively,and then using the reinforcing method,the Heart on the tongue surface was ***,the patient was advised to make a slow swallowing *** tongue acupuncture therapy for 6 times,the patient’s speech and swallowing function was improved,which achieved a satisfactory therapeutic effects.
