Objective: The aim of the present study was to determine associations between the late diagnosis of oral cancer and demographic/clinical factors. A quantitative cross-sectional study was carried out in 2007. Material and Method: oral tumors were recorded based on the TNM staging system, with T1 and T2 considered early diagnosis and T3 and T4 considered late diagnosis. Results: Patient age ranged from 30 to 105 years (mean: 64.7). Just over half of the patients (54.9%) resided in urban areas and approximately 1/4 (25.7%) had an agricultural occupation. The majority had smoking habits (89.9%) and consumed alcohol (62.5%). The most frequent tumor site was the tongue (42.4%), followed by the hard palate (19.2%) and lip (12.2%). The majority (70.1%) were in advanced stages (III and IV). A greater percentage of smokers were in advanced stages than non-smokers. The percentage of cases in the early stages was lowest when the tumor was located in the tongue (14.1%) and highest when located in the buccal mucosa (80.0%). Conclusion: The main causes of the late diagnosis of oral cancer are insufficient training on the part of physicians and dentists in the field of pathology, delays on the part of patients in seeking medical assistance and deficient access to quality medical care, reflecting the absence of preventive public health programs and an effective healthcare system.

Diabetes is a chronic and debilitating disease,which is associated with a range of complications putting tremendous burden on medical,economic and socio-technological infrastructure *** the higher authorities of health services are facing the excruciating cumulative reasons of diabetes as a very imperative worldwide issue in the 21st *** study aims to relook at the misapplication of the processed radio frequency that frailties in the pancreas within and around the personal body boundary *** administered sensor data were obtained at laboratory experiments from the selected specimens on dogs and cats in light and dark *** study shows the frequent urine flow speed varies with sudden infection due to treated wireless sensor networks in active open *** overweight and obese persons are increasingly affected in diabetes with comprehensive urinary pressure due to continuous staying at dark *** findings replicate the increasing tide of diabetes *** study also represents the difficulties of physicians to provide adequate diabetic management according to their expectancy due to insecure personal area network control *** sensor network is indispensable for healthcare but such network is at risk to health security due to digitalized poisoning within GPS *** study recommends the anti-radiation integrated system policy with user’s security alternative approach to inspire dealing with National Health Policy and Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

Background: Pemphigus vegetans, a variant of pemphigus vulgaris, constitutes a rare form of all pemphigus cases, and oral involvement is common. Two clinical subtypes of pemphigus vegetans exist, characterized initially by flaccid bullae and erosions (Neumann) or pustules (Hallopeau). Both subtypes subsequently develop into hyperpigmented vegetative plaques with pustules and hypertrophic granulation tissue at the periphery. Methods: We report three cases of pemphigus vegetans with oral manifestations exclusively. Two patients were male aged 30 and 45 years old, respectively,while one was a 51-year old female. Conclusions: oral lesions in all cases consisted of erosions and whitish, vegetating plaques. The histopathological characteristics were in all cases identical. The spinous cell layer was characterized by intense acanthosis and by the presence of vesicles between the spinous and basal cell layers. Inside the vesicles exudative elements were observed consisting mainly of eosinophils. In the upper lamina propria severe inflammatory reaction was observed. Streptavidin-biotin immunoperoxidase technique showed in all cases intercellular epithelial deposition of IgG and C3.

Objective To study the influence of carcinogenic factors on tissues and organs of the maxillofacial region(MFR)by measuring the expression of biomarkers in the oral *** We recruited 421 patients who were divided into 2 groups:356 patients with a tumour of the MFR and 65 healthy people without somatic pathology in medical *** The effects of carcinogenic factors on the expression of biomarkers in the oral fluid in patients with a tumour of the MFR revealed a significant increase in the levels of biomarkers of tobacco use-MMP-8,TIMP-1,TIMP-2,and CA 72-4,CEA and CA 125;frequent use or abuse of alcohol-MMP-8,TIMP-1,TIMP-2,AFP and NSE;use of narcotics-TIMP-1 and TIMP-2;presence of occupational hazards in the medical history-MMP-8,MMP-9,TIMP-1 and TIMP-2;with a diagnostic sensitivity(DS)of over 60%.Also our analysis showed that the use of tobacco was significantly affecting the expression of TIMP-1and CA 125;frequent use or abuse of alcohol-CA 19-9,AFP and CEA;use of drugs had an impact on ***,the occupational hazards in the medical history did not show a statistically significant *** Factors of carcinogenesis affect the expression of biomarkers in the oral *** expression of the biomarkers of the MFR should be compared with that in the control group of patients with no carcinogenic factors.

The population genetic data and forensic parameters of 19 X-chromosome short tandem repeat （X-STR） loci in Chinese Uygur ethnic minority are presented. These loci were detected in a sample of 233 （94 males and 139 females） unrelated healthy individuals. We observed 238 alleles at the 19 X-STR loci, with the corresponding gene frequencies spanning the range from 0.0021 to 0.5644. After Bonferroni correction （P〉0.0026）, there were no signif- icant deviations from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The cumulative power of discrimination in females and males, and the probability of exclusion of the 19 X-STR loci were 0.999 999 999 999 999 999 998 091,0.999 999 999 999 966, and 0.999 999 986 35, respectively. The cumulative mean exclusion chance was 0.999 999 992 849 in deficiency cases, 0.999 999 999 999 628 in normal trios, and 0.999 999 998 722 in duo cases. The high value of the forensic parameters mentioned above revealed that the novel panel of 19 loci had important values for forensic applications in the LJygur group.

Sir,dentistry is growing at a rapid rate and now there is certainly an increased awareness of oral health care among the general population of developing *** are numerous studies conducted on the important role of forensic odontology in developing ***,I have always been intrigued about whether in case of a mass disaster,the records of the patients would actually be available to the concerned forensic odontologist or the forensics *** is a lack of any common record of the patients in resource‑constrained *** data is obtained by general dental practitioners but most of the time,the data is not recorded in either soft copy(through digital imaging)or conventional intraoral periapical film and is generally *** obvious reason for this is the lack of any archiving *** is no compulsion to keep the records of the patients and thus,valuable data is *** would like to recommend a system for archiving records that can be cited in a ***,there are certain practical difficulties involved such as the lack of any dental insurance scheme in emerging nations due to which the general dental practitioners may lack the motivation to archive records and place these records on a ***,the practitioners would feel uncomfortable placing their patients’records on a common website.

Dental plaque in adult patients is well identified as a reservoir for Helicobacter pylori. This question still remains unclear in children. The aim of this study is to identify the presence of this bacterium in dental plaque of Mexican pediatric patients, using Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR). Forty patients from 2 to 11 years without dyspeptic symptoms were enrolled. Samples were collected from the subgingival space of the lingual side of the lower molars and cultured in selective medium. Therefore, qPCR analysis was conducted. According to the results obtained in this study, it was found that 35% of the pediatric population who participated tested qPCR positive for the presence of H. pylori in dental plaque samples. No significant associations were detected among isolation rate by gender or age. We found that dental plaque may be a reservoir for H. pylori. However, more research is needed to establish the way of the infection of pediatric population.
