We present three families of soliton solutions to the generalized （3＋l）-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation with distributed coefficients. We investigate the dynamics of these solitons in nonlinear optics with some selected parameters. Different shapes of bright solitons, a train of bright solitons and dark solitons are observed. The obtained results may raise the possibilities of relevant experiments and potential applications.

By the generalized sub-equation expansion method and symbolic computation, this paper investigates the （3＋1）dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii equation with time-and space-dependent potential, time-dependent nonlinearity, and gain or loss. As a result, rich exact analytical solutions are obtained, which include bright and dark solitons, Jacobi elliptic function solutions and Weierstrass elliptic function solutions. With computer simulation, the main evolution features of some of these solutions are shown by some figures. nonlinear dynamics of a soliton pulse is also investigated under the different regimes of soliton management.

In this paper, the extended symmetry transformation of （3＋1）-dimensional （3D） generalized nonlinear Schrodinger （NLS） equations with variable coefficients is investigated by using the extended symmetry approach and symbolic computation. Then based on the extended symmetry, some 3D variable coefficient NLS equations are reduced to other variable coefficient NLS equations or the constant coefficient 3D NLS equation. By using these symmetry transformations, abundant exact solutions of some 3D NLS equations with distributed dispersion, nonlinearity, and gain or loss are obtained from the constant coefficient 3D NLS equation.

A reduction in adult neurogenesis is associated with behavioral abnormalities in patients with Alzheimer's ***,enhancing adult neurogenesis represents a promising therapeutic approach for mitigating disease symptoms and ***,nonpharmacological interventions aimed at inducing adult neurogenesis are currently *** individual non-pharmacological interventions,such as aerobic exercise,acousto-optic stimulation,and olfactory stimulation,have shown limited capacity to improve neurogenesis and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease,the therapeutic effect of a strategy that combines these interventions has not been fully *** this study,we observed an age-dependent decrease in adult neurogenesis and a concurrent increase in amyloid-beta accumulation in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice aged 2-8 *** deposition became evident at 4 months,while neurogenesis declined by 6 months,further deteriorating as the disease ***,following a 4-week multifactor stimulation protocol,which encompassed treadmill running(46 min/d,10 m/min,6 days per week),40 Hz acousto-optic stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),and olfactory stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),we found a significant increase in the number of newborn cells(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive cells),immature neurons(doublecortin-positive cells),newborn immature neurons(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/doublecortin-positive cells),and newborn astrocytes(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells).Additionally,the amyloid-beta load in the hippocampus *** findings suggest that multifactor stimulation can enhance adult hippocampal neurogenesis and mitigate amyloid-beta neuropathology in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 ***,cognitive abilities were improved,and depressive symptoms were alleviated in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice

Development of the telencephalon relies upon several signaling centers-localized cellular populations that supply secreted factors to pattern the cortical *** such signaling center is the cortical hem,which arises during embryonic development at the telencephalic dorsal midline,adjacent to the choroid plexus and hippocampal primordium(Figure 1A).While the cortical hem has also been described in reptiles and birds,most of our knowledge about the developmental roles of the cortical hem is derived from the analysis in *** cortical hem produces several types of secreted molecules,including wingless-related integration site(Wnt)and bone morphogenetic(Bmp)*** cortical hem is particularly important for the development of the hippocampus,which is involved in learning and memory,and the neocortex,which is the most complex brain region that mediates multiple types of behavior and higher cognitive functions(Mangale et al.,2008;Dal-Valle-Anton and Borrell,2022).

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells （PEMFCs） provide an appealing sustainable energy system,with the solid-electrolyte membrane playing a crucial role in its overall ***,sulfonated poly（1,4-phenylene ether-ether sulfone）(SPEES),an aromatic hydrocarbon polymer,has garnered considerable attention as an alternative to Nafion ***,the long-term durability and stability of SPEES present a significant *** this context,we introduce a potential solution in the form of an additive,specifically a core–shell-based amine-functionalized iron titanate （A–Fe2TiO5）,which holds promise for improving the lifetime,proton conductivity,and power density of SPEES in *** modified SPEES/A–Fe2TiO5composite membranes exhibited notable characteristics,including high water uptake,enhanced thermomechanical stability,and oxidative ***,the SPEES membrane loaded with 1.2 wt%of A–Fe2TiO5demonstrates a maximum proton conductivity of 155 mS cm-1,a twofold increase compared to the SPEES membrane,at 80°C under 100%relative humidity （RH）.Furthermore,the 1.2 wt%of A–Fe2TiO5/SPEES composite membranes exhibited a maximum power density of 397.37 mW cm-2and a current density of 1148 mA cm-2at 60°C under 100%RH,with an opencircuit voltage decay of 0.05 m V/h during 103 h of continuous *** study offers significant insights into the development and understanding of innovative SPEES nanocomposite membranes for PEMFC applications.

We present three families of one-soliton solutions for （2＋1）-dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii equation with both time-dependent scattering length and gain or loss in a harmonic trap. Then we investigate the dynamics of these solitons in Bose-Einstein condensate8 （BECs） by some selected control functions. Our results show that the intensities of these solitons first increase rapidly to the condensation peak, then decay very slowly to the background; thus the lifetime of a bright soliton, a train of bright solitons and a dark soliton in BECs can be all greatly extended. Our results offer a useful method for observing matter-wave solitons in BECs in future experiments.

As an extension to the derivative-dependent functional variable separation approach, the approximate derivative-dependent functional variable separation approach is proposed, and it is applied to study the generalized diffusion equations with perturbation. Complete classification of these perturbed equations which admit approximate derivative-dependent functional separable solutions is obtained. As a result, the corresponding approximate derivative-dependent functional separable solutions to some resulting perturbed equations are derived by way of examples.
