Dynamic Multi-Graph Spatio-Temporal Graph Traffic Flow Prediction in Bangkok:An Application of a Continuous Convolutional Neural Network

The ability to accurately predict urban traffic flows is crucial for optimising city ***,various methods for forecasting urban traffic have been developed,focusing on analysing historical data to understand complex mobility *** learning techniques,such as graph neural networks(GNNs),are popular for their ability to capture spatio-temporal ***,these models often become overly complex due to the large number of hyper-parameters *** this study,we introduce Dynamic Multi-Graph Spatial-Temporal Graph Neural Ordinary Differential Equation Networks(DMST-GNODE),a framework based on ordinary differential equations(ODEs)that autonomously discovers effective spatial-temporal graph neural network(STGNN)architectures for traffic prediction *** comparative analysis of DMST-GNODE and baseline models indicates that DMST-GNODE model demonstrates superior performance across multiple datasets,consistently achieving the lowest Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE)values,alongside the highest *** the BKK(Bangkok)dataset,it outperformed other models with an RMSE of 3.3165 and an accuracy of 0.9367 for a 20-min interval,maintaining this trend across 40 and 60 ***,on the PeMS08 dataset,DMST-GNODE achieved the best performance with an RMSE of 19.4863 and an accuracy of 0.9377 at 20 min,demonstrating its effectiveness over longer *** Los_Loop dataset results further emphasise this model’s advantage,with an RMSE of 3.3422 and an accuracy of 0.7643 at 20 min,consistently maintaining superiority across all time *** numerical highlights indicate that DMST-GNODE not only outperforms baseline models but also achieves higher accuracy and lower errors across different time intervals and datasets.

Adaptive finite element methods for optimization problems for second order linear el- liptic partial differential equations subject to pointwise constraints on the l2-norm of the gradient of the state are considered. In a weak duality setting, i.e. without assuming a constraint qualification such as the existence of a Slater point, residual based a posteriori error estimators are derived. To overcome the lack in constraint qualification on the continuous level, the weak Fenchel dual is utilized. Several numerical tests illustrate the performance of the proposed error *** subject classification： 65N30, 90C46, 65N50, 49K20, 49N15, 65K10.

We will be concerned with the mathematical modeling, numerical simulation, and shape optimization of micro fluidic biochips that are used for various biomedical applications. A particular feature is that the fluid flow in the fluidic network on top of the biochips is in- duced by surface acoustic waves generated by interdigital transducers. We are thus faced with a multiphysics problem that will be modeled by coupling the equations of piezoelectricity with the compressible Navier-Stokes equations. Moreover, the fluid flow exhibits a multiscale character that will be taken care of by a homogenization approach. We will discuss and analyze the mathematical models and deal with their numerical solution by space-time discretizations featuring appropriate finite element approximations with respect to hierarchies of simplicial triangulations of the underlying computational domains. Simulation results will be given for the propagation of the surface acoustic waves on top of the piezoelectric substrate and for the induced fluid flow in the microchannels of the fluidic network. The performance of the operational behavior of the biochips can be significantly improved by shape optimization. In particular, for such purposes we present a multilevel interior point method relying on a predictor-corrector strategy with an adaptive choice of the continuation steplength along the barrier path. As a specific example, we will consider the shape optimization of pressure driven capillary barriers between microchannels and reservoirs.

Nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers serve as the physical platform for nonadiabatic holonomic quantum *** quantum computation has entered the noisy intermediate-scale era, building accurate intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is clearly necessary. Given that measurements are the sole means of extracting information, they play an indispensable role in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers. Accordingly, developing methods to reduce measurement errors in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is of great importance. However, while much attention has been given to the research on nonadiabatic holonomic gates, the research on reducing measurement errors in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is severely lacking. In this study, we propose a measurement error reduction method tailored for intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers. The reason we say this is because our method can not only reduce the measurement errors in the computer but also be useful in mitigating errors originating from nonadiabatic holonomic gates. Given these features,our method significantly advances the construction of accurate intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers.

Computational modeling and simulation are presented on the motion of red blood cells behind a moving interface in a *** methodology is based on an immersed boundary method and the skeleton structure of the red blood cell(RBC)membrane is modeled as a spring *** by the nature of the problem,the computational domain is moving with either a designated RBC or an interface in an infinitely long two-dimensional channel with an undisturbed flow field in front of the computational *** tanking-treading and the inclination angle of a cell in a simple shear flow are briefly discussed for the validation *** then present and discuss the results of the motion of red blood cells behind a moving interface in a capillary,which show that the RBCs with higher velocity than the interface speed form a concentrated slug behind the moving interface.

Widely used spin-coated nickle oxide （NiOx） based perovskite solar cells often suffer from severe interfacial reactions between the NiOxand adjacent perovskite layers due to surface defect states,which inherently impair device performance in a long-term view,even with surface molecule *** this study,we developed high-quality magnetron-sputtered NiOxthin films through detailed process optimization,and compared systematically sputtered and spin-coated NiOxthin film surfaces from materials to *** sputtered NiOxfilms exhibit improved crystallinity,smoother surfaces,and significantly reduced Ni3+or Ni vacancies compared to their spin-coated ***,the interface between the perovskite and sputtered NiOxfilm shows a substantially reduced density of defect *** solar cells （PSCs） fabricated with our optimally sputtered NiOxfilms achieved a high power conversion efficiency （PCE） of up to 19.93%and demonstrated enhanced stability,maintaining 86.2% efficiency during 500 h of maximum power point tracking under one standard sun ***,with the surface modification using (4-(2,7-dibromo-9,9-dimethylacridin-10（9H）-yl)butyl)p hosphonic acid （DMAcPA）,the device PCE was further promoted to 23.07%,which is the highest value reported for sputtered NiOxbased PSCs so far.
