Molecular Docking-Based Research on the Potential Anti-Encephalopathy Effect of Gentianine

Objective:Encephalopathy is increasingly threatening human health.It is correspondingly one of the concerns of society and medical community.As a natural source,traditional Chinese medicine has tremendous beneficial outcomes in various diseases including encephalopathy.Gentianine,a Chinese herbal compound,shows effectiveness in many diseases exclusively in inflammation.Therefore,this in vitro research was carried out to find its effectiveness in encephalopathy.Methodology:Ligand and proteins were searched and downloaded from ChemDraw and protein database,respectively.Sybyl-X2.0 docking software and its various functions were used to prepare ligand and proteins.Finally,gentianine was docked with proteins using Sybyl-X2.0 docking software.Results:Gentianine was docked with 20 protein targets.Compounds with C-score of 5 were selected.A total of three kinds of protein docked with gentianine(ABCC1,C-reactive protein[CRP],and NKX5-2)were selected.ABCC1 was expressed in the brain and was related to seizures and stroke.CRP was an inflammatory biomarker and related to seizures,epilepsy,stroke,and Parkinson’s disease.NKX2–5 was also known as cardiac transcription and related to cerebral palsy,Alzheimer’s disease,and stroke.All these targets were related to encephalopathy.Conclusion:Molecular docking findings in this study lead to the suggestion that gentianine might be helpful in treating encephalopathy.This study is expected to provide a solution to find potential anti-encephalopathy compounds.

Continuity of Care during Care Transition: Nurses’ Experiences and Challenges

The aim of this study was to gain increased knowledge about nurses’ experiences of care transition of older patients from hospital to municipal health care, based on two research questions: How is nurses’ experience continuity during care transition of older patients from hospital to municipal health care? How would nurses describe an optimal care transition? Nurses have a pivotal role during care transitions of older patients. More knowledge about their experiences is necessary to develop favorable improvements for this important period in the older patient’s treatment and care. The study has a qualitative explorative design with follow-up focus group interviews. Nurses (N = 30) working in hospital (n = 16) and municipal (n = 14) health care were organized in five mixed focus groups during the period October-January 2014/2015. The focus groups met twice, answering the research questions following a previously circulated semi-structured interview guide. The interview analysis was inspired by content analysis. The analysis resulted in the themes “Administrative demands challenge terms for collaboration” and “Essentials for nursing determine optimal care transitions for older patients”. Administrative demands may prevent nurses’ professional dialogue and collaboration across health care levels. Older patients’ best interests should be ensured through a collaborative relationship between hospital and municipal nurses, to form continuous care across health care levels. Clinical practice should be aware of essentials for nursing, which could influence and facilitate a more individualized and continuous transition for older patients.

Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of total percutaneous technique in endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm.Methods:Divide patients into two groups based on random tests.The control group received conventional treatment,and the experimental group received modified treatment.The changes in self-management ability,comfort level and recovery time before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:The comfort level and self-management ability of the experimental group were significantly higher than that of the control group,and the recovery time was significantly shorter than that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Puncture suture can safely and effectively repair the intracavity of abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Background and Study Aims:To observe the efficacy of photodynamic therapy in patients with advanced gastric cancer and analyze the reasons affecting the efficacy.Methods:In this paper,a patient with advanced gastric cancer in our hospital was selected.HoPorfin is used as a photosensitizer and photodynamic therapy was performed 48 hours and 72 hours later.Results:One month after the photodynamic treatment,the patient came to our hospital to reexamine the gastroscope.Through the comparison of gastroscopy before and after the photodynamic treatment,the gastric cancer lesion of the patient after the photodynamic treatment was not significantly smaller than before,and the effect of photodynamic treatment was not ideal.Conclusion:The four reasons for the unsatisfactory effect:individual differences of patients,photosensitizer,light source and oxygen.

Effect of Psychological nursing on the Mental State and Quality of Life of Patients After Heart Valve Replacement for Rheumatic Heart Disease

Objective:To explore the effect of psychological nursing on the mental state and quality of life of patients after heart valve replacement for rheumatic heart disease.Methods:Seventy-four patients with rheumatic heart disease that underwent heart valve replacement in Zhenjiang First People's Hospital from January 2017 to May 2020 were selected as the research subjects.Thirty-seven patients that were treated from January 2017 to September 2018 were included in the control group.Routine care was provided for the patients in the control group.From October 2018 to May 2020,the department of Cardiothoracic Surgery improved their preoperative and postoperative psychological care.Thirty-seven patients that were treated during this period were included in the research group.The research group received psychological nursing care in addition to routine care.The efiects of different nursing modes on the quality of life and postoperative mental state of the patients were determined.Results:The scores for depression,anxiety,somatization,and compulsion in the research group were significantly lower than those in the control group(pnursing for patients with rheumatic heart disease is helpful to improve their quality of life and mental state after heart valve replacement.

Objectives. Optimal cancer symptom management requires effective patient-health care provider (HCP) communication. The goals of this study were to 1) describe symptom experiences of women with ovarian cancer, 2) evaluate frequency of patient-HCP communication about symptoms, and 3) evaluate whether communication is associated with patients’confidence in managing symptoms. Methods. This was a cross-sectional mailed survey study. The Symptom Experience Survey, containing valid, reliable measures of symptom severity and controllability; symptom communication; and symptom-related coping strategies, was mailed to members of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Descriptive statistics, t tests, correlations, and ANCOVA were used to address study objectives. Results. This analysis focuses on the 279 respondents who had active disease. The majority of women had recurrent disease (96%)-and were on chemotherapy (57%). Women reported a mean of 12 concurrent symptoms. Fatigue, bowel disturbances, and peripheral neuropathies were the most severe and most noticed symptoms. Only 61%of women had discussed their most noticed symptom with an HCP in the past month, and only 50%of women reported that they had received symptom management recommendations. Women reported low levels of perceived control over symptoms (M = 1.97 on a 0-4 scale). There was a significant interaction effect for symptom discussions and management recommendations on perceived control. Women who had never received recommendations had low perceived control whether or not they had discussed their symptom with an HCP in the past month. For women who had received recommendations, those who had discussed their symptom with an HCP in the past month had higher perceived control compared to those who had not discussed their symptom. Conclusions. Women with ovarian cancer experience multiple symptoms, but many do not discuss symptoms with their HCPs and fewer report receiving symptom management recommendations. A Novel Method Using Flower-like Manganese Oxide Nanozymes for Colorimetric Detection of Ascorbic Acid

This paper proposes a method of utilizing a flower-like MnOx nanozyme to conduct a colorimetric detection of ascorbic acid.The nanozyme is obtained by a chain of reaction of K3[Fe(CN)6],MnSO4·H2O,polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP),NH4F,ethanol,and water.During the experimental process,the flower-like nanozyme is added to the mixed solution,including phosphate buffer,H2O2,and 3,3’,5,5’-tetramethylbe nzidine(TMB).The optimum reaction condition as following:pH 3.0,30μL 500mM H2O2,25μL 92 mM TMB,and 30μL 0.1mM nanozyme.Under the optimum condition,the detection range is 2-26mM,and the linear detection range is 2-20mM.

nursing observation of transradial coronary intervention combined with tirofiban hydrochloride for acute coronary syndrome in elderly patients

Background As the most effective approach in treatment of revascularization in coronary perfusion for acute coronary syndromes（ACSs）, percutaneous coronary intervention（PCI） can also increase the risk of detachment of thrombus and embolism of distal microcirculation. Tirofiban hydrochloride is a reversible antagonist of platelet glycoprotein Ⅱb / Ⅲa receptor, which can inhibit platelet aggregation quickly. However,it may also increase the risk of bleeding when in combination with other anti-thrombus drugs. It is important in medication observation for charge nurse when using Ⅱ b / Ⅲ a receptor inhibitor. Methods For 116 elderly patients with ACS who had transradial coronary interventional therapy combined with tirofiban hydrochloride,we conducted medication care, nursing observation of hemorrhage, nursing of puncture of upper limb,postoperative adverse cardiovascular events, observation of myocardial perfusion, blood flow and health education. Results A total of 10 patients had mild bleeding, no serious bleeding, and 2 with major adverse cardiac event（MACE）. Conclusions Tirofiban hydrochloride after PCI can significantly reduce cardiovascular events in acute coronary syndromes, but there is an increased risk of bleeding. It showed that strengthen inspection, closely observe condition and detecting bleeding in time after PCI can significantly reduce postoperative complications for charge nurses.

目的：探讨应用熊珍软膏加呋喃西林粉对急性髓系白血病M2a型造血干细胞移植患者肛周进行护理的效果观察.方法：以我院一例急性髓系白血病M2a型造血干细胞移植患者为研究对象,采用护理病历报告方法,记录熊珍软膏加呋喃西林粉对该例患者在造血干细胞移植期间进行肛周护理的方法及效果.结果：给予熊珍软膏加呋喃西林粉治疗后,患者在移植过程中未出现明显的肛周感染,于24天完成移植顺利转入过渡病房.结论：在层流室的肛周护理中增加熊珍软膏加呋喃西林粉的涂抹可减少肛周感染的发生.
