Dual-compressed photoacoustic single-pixel imaging

Photoacoustic imaging,an acoustic imaging modality with potentially optical resolution in an optical turbid medium,has attracted great attention.However,the convergence of wavefront optimization and raster scanning in computational photoacoustic imaging leads to the challenge of fast mapping,especially for a spatial resolution approaching the acoustic deep-subwavelength regime.As a sparse sampling paradigm,compressive sensing has been applied in numerous fields to accelerate data acquisition without significant quality losses.In this work,we propose a dual-compressed approach for photoacoustic surface tomography that enables high-efficiency imaging with 3D spatial resolution unlimited by the acoustics in a turbid environment.The dual-compressed photoacoustic imaging with single-pixel detection,enabled by spatially optical modulation with synchronized temporally photoacoustic coding,allows decoding of the fine optical information from the modulated acoustic signal even when the variance of original photoacoustic signals is weak.We perform a proof-of-principle numerical demonstration of dual-compressed photoacoustic imaging, that resolves acoustic sub-acoustic-wavelength details with a significantly reduced number of measurements,revealing the potential for dynamic imaging.The dual-compressed concept,which transforms unobtrusive spatial difference into spatio-temporal detectable information,can be generalized to other imaging modalities to re alize efficient,high-spatial-resolution imaging.

Joint Wavelet-Fractional Fourier Transform

Based on Dirac＇s representation theory and the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators, we put forward the joint wavelet-fractional Fourier transform in the context of quantum mechanics. Its corresponding transformation operator is found and the normally ordered form is deduced. This kind of transformation may be applied to analyzing and identifying quantum states.

To conveniently calculate the Wigner function of the optical cumulant operator and its dissipation evolution in a thermal environment, in this paper, the thermo-entangled state representation is introduced to derive the general evolution formula of the Wigner function, and its relation to Weyl correspondence is also discussed. The method of integration within the ordered product of operators is essential to our discussion.

Effect of Ambient Temperature on the Electrochemical Properties of La_4MgNi_(17.5)Co_(1.5) Hydrogen Storage Alloy

The effect of different ambient temperatures on the electrochemical properties of La4MgNi17.5C01.5 hydrogen storage alloy was investigated. The X-ray diffraction pattern shows that the alloy consists of LaNis-type phase and AsB19- type （Ce5C019 ＋ Pr5CO19） phase. With the increase of the ambient temperature, the maximum discharge capacity of the alloy electrodes increases from 353.33 （283 K） to 379.25 mAh/g （308 K）, and the cyclic stability （Sloo） of the electrodes decreases from 80.19 （283 K） to 52.04% （308 K） due to the acceleration of pulverization, corrosion and oxidation at higher ambient temperature. Moreover, it is found that the increase of the temperature can accelerate the diffusion rate of hydrogen in the alloy （D） and increase the exchange current density （Io）, which are beneficial for improving the activation performance and the high-rate dischargeability （HRD） of the alloy electrodes. The activation cycles of the electrodes decrease from 4 （283 K） to 1 （308 K）, and the HRD9oo of the electrodes sharply increases from 66.36 （283 K） to 95.64% （308 K）.

A new type of photon-added squeezed coherent state and its statistical properties

We construct a new type of photon-added squeezed coherent state generated by repeatedly operating the bosonic creation operator on a new type of squeezed coherent state [Fan H Y and Xiao M 1996 Phys. Lett. A 220 81l. We find that its normalization factor is related to single-variable Hermite polynomials. Furthermore, we investigate its statistical properties, such as Mandel＇s Q parameter, photon-number distribution, and Wigner function. The nonelassieality is displayed in terms of the intense oscillation of photon-number distribution and the negativity of the Wigner function.

New generating function formulae of even- and odd-Hermite polynomials obtained and applied in the context of quantum optics

By combining the operator Hermite polynomial method and the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators, for the first time we derive the generating function of even- and odd-Hermite polynomials which will be useful in constructing new optical field states. We then show that the squeezed state and photon-added squeezed state can be expressed by even- and odd-Hermite polynomials.

New 3-mode bosonic operator realization of SU(2) Lie algebra:From the point of view of squeezing

We consider the quantum mechanical SU（2） transformation e^2λJzJ±e^-2λJz = e^±2λJ±as if the meaning of squeezing with e^±2λ being squeezing parameter. By studying SU（2） operators （J±, Jz） from the point of view of squeezing we find that （J±,Jz） can also be realized in terms of 3-mode bosonic operators. Employing this realization, we find the natural representation （the eigenvectors of J＋ or J-） of the 3-mode squeezing operator e^2λJz. The idea of considering quantum SU（2） transformation as if squeezing is liable for us to obtain the new bosonic operator realization of SU（2） and new squeezing operators.

Incipient sliding of adhesive contacts

A model is proposed herein to investigate the incipient sliding of contacts in the presence of both friction and adhesion,where the interfacial response is modeled based on traction-separation laws.A Maugis-like parameter is defined to characterize the response in the tangential direction.Subsequently,the model is used to investigate the contact between a smooth cylinder and a flat body,where adhesion-friction interactions are strong.A range of behaviors are observed when a tangential displacement is imposed:When the parameter is low,the contact pressure exhibits a relatively constant profile;when it is high,a pressure spike is observed at the edge of the contact.This difference is caused by a significant interface compliance in the former case,which limits the amount of slip.The results for the mid-range values of the Maugis-like parameter can qualitatively replicate various experiments performed using polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)balls.

Aerosol printing and photonic sintering of bioresorbable zinc nanoparticle ink for transient electronics manufacturing

Bioresorbable electronics technology can potentially lead to revolutionary applications in healthcare, consumer electronics, and data security. This technology has been demonstrated by various functional devices. However, majority of these devices are realized by CMOS fabrication approaches involving complex and time-consuming processes that are high in cost and low in yield. Printing electronics technology represents a series of printing and post processing techniques that hold promise to make high performance bioresorbable electronics devices. But investigation of printing approaches for bioresorbable electronics is very limited. Here we demonstrate fabrication of conductive bioresorbable patterns using aerosol printing and photonic sintering approaches. Experimental results and simulation reveals that ink compositions, photonic energy, film thickness, and ventilation conditions may influence the effect of photonic sintering. A maximum conductivity of 22321.3 S/m can be achieved using 1 flash with energy of 25.88 J/cm~2 with duration of 2 ms. By combining two cascaded sintering procedures using flash light and laser further improve the conductivity to 34722.2 S/m. The results indicate that aerosol printing and photonic sintering can potentially yield mass fabrication of bioresorbable electronics, leading to prevalence of printable bioresorbable technology in consumer electronics and biomedical devices.

Three-dimensional biogenic C-doped Bi_2MoO_6/In_2O_3-ZnO Z-scheme heterojunctions derived from a layered precursor

Novel 3D biogenic C-doped Bi_2 MoO_6/In_2O_3-ZnO Z-scheme heterojunctions were synthesized for the first time, using cotton fiber as template. The as-prepared samples showed excellent adsorption and photodegradation performance toward the hazardous antibiotic doxycycline under simulated sunlight irradiation. The morphology, phase composition and in situ carbon doping could be precisely controlled by adjusting processing parameters. The carbon doping in Bi_2 MoO_6/In_2O_3-ZnO was derived from the cotton template, and the carbon content could be varied in the range 0.9–4.4 wt.% via controlling the heat treatment temperature. The sample with Bi_2 MoO_6/In_2O_3-ZnO molar ratio of 1:2 and carbon content of1.1 wt.% exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity toward doxycycline degradation,which was 3.6 and 4.3 times higher than those of pure Bi_2 MoO_6 and Zn In Al-CLDH(calcined layered double hydroxides), respectively. It is believed that the Z-scheme heterojunction with C-doping, the 3D hierarchically micro–meso–macro porous structure, as well as the high adsorption capacity, contributed significantly to the enhanced photocatalytic activity.
