The non-stoichiometric Li_(3)Mg_(2)Sb_(1-x)O_(6)(0.05≤x≤0.125)compounds have been prepared via the mixed oxide *** influences of Sb nonstoichiometry on the sintering behavior,microstructure,phase composition along with microwave dielectric performances for Li_(3)Mg_(2)Sb_(1-x)O_(6) ceramics were *** with X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Raman spectra,it was confirmed that phase composition could not be affected by the Sb nonstoichiometry and almost pure phase Li_(3)Mg_(2)SbO_(6) was formed in all *** Sb-deficiency in Li_(3)Mg_(2)SbO_(6) not only lowered its sintering temperature but also remarkably improved its Q×f *** particular,non-stoichiometric Li_(3)Mg_(2)Sb_(0.9)O_(6) ceramics sintered at 1250℃/5 h owned seldom low dielectric constant ε_(r)=10.8,near-zero resonant frequency temperature coefficient τ_(f)=-8.0 ppm/℃,and high quality factor Q×f=86,300 GHz(at 10.4 GHz).This study provides an alternative approach to ameliorate its dielectric performances for Li_(3)Mg_(2)SbO_(6)-based compounds through defect-engineering.

Background: The protein encoded by ring finger protein 157 (RNF157) is known to function as an E3 ubiquitinligase. However, whether the level of RNF157 expression in breast cancer correlates with prognosis and immune cellinfiltration among breast cancer patients remains to be further explored. Methods: In this study, publicly availabledatasets were used for evaluating RNF157 expression in different tumors compared with normal samples. Severalindependent datasets were screened for investigating the relationship between RNF157 and breast cancer survival,different mutation profiles, and tumor immune cell infiltration. We conducted a pathway enrichment analysis toidentify signaling pathways associated with RNF157. Results: Analysis of public and online databases revealed thatRNF157 expression markedly decreased in breast cancer tissue samples compared to non-carcinoma ***, immunohistochemistry assays also demonstrated this RNF157 down-regulation in breast cancer ***157 up-regulation could predict the improved survival of breast cancer cases. Further, different RNF157expression level groups exhibited different mutational profiles. Pathway enrichment profiling of RNF157-related genessuggested its possible involvement in regulating breast cancer via the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)pathway. RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) data and genomic enrichment analysis showed that RNF157 downregulatedseveral genes positively associated with the MAPK signaling pathway. We also explored RNF157 expression andimmune cell infiltration in breast cancer and found that RNF157 mRNA levels were negatively related to non-Timmune cell infiltration. Conclusion: According to our work, RNF157 may be a promising diagnostic biomarker andtherapeutic target for breast cancer.

A Novel Therapeutic Strategy Combining Use of Intracellular Magnetic Nanoparticles under an Alternating Magnetic Field and Bleomycin

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to present a novel therapeutic strategy combining use of intracellular magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) under an alternating magnetic field (AMF) and bleomycin (BLM), and to evaluate its therapeutic effect using tumor-bearing mice. Materials and Methods: MNPs (Resovist?, 1.05 mg iron) were incorporated into the hemagglutinating virus of Japan-envelope (HVJ-E) vector (~5 × 109 particles) (HVJ-E/MNPs) by centrifugation at 10,000 × g for 5 min at 4°C. Tumor-bearing mice were prepared by inoculating Colon-26 cells subcutaneously into the backs of BALB/c mice. When the tumor volume reached ~100 mm3, HVJ-E/MNPs and/or BLM were injected directly into the tumor. The AMF was applied to the mice one hour after the injection of agents (AMF treatment). The mice injected with HVJ-E/MNPs were imaged using our magnetic particle imaging (MPI) scanner immediately (13 min) before, immediately (22 min) after, and 3, 7, and 14 days after the injection of agents, and the temporal changes of the average and maximum MPI pixel values in the tumor were quantitatively evaluated. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by calculating the relative tumor volume growth (RTVG) from the tumor volumes measured each day. Transmission electron microscopic (TEM) observation of resected tumors was also performed to confirm the intracellular distribution of MNPs. Results: The AMF treatment combined with BLM significantly decreased the RTVG value compared with AMF treatment alone at 9 to 14 days, and BLM alone at 3 to 5 days after AMF treatment. The average and maximum MPI pixel values in the tumor were almost constant for 14 days. TEM observation confirmed that most of the HVJ-E/MNPs were internalized into tumor cells within one hour after injection. Conclusion: A novel therapeutic strategy with use of AMF treatment and BLM was presented, and the time-dependent change of MNPs in tumors was evaluated using MPI. Achieving highly-efficient and stable perovskite solar cells(PSCs) with a simplified structure remains challenging, despite the tremendous potential for reducing preparation cost and facile processability by removing hole transport layer(HTL). In this work, eco-friendly glucose(Gl) as an interface modifier for HTL-free narrow bandgap tin-lead(Sn-Pb) PSCs is proposed. Gl not only enhances the wettability of the indium tin oxide to promote perovskite heterogeneous nucleation on substrate, but also realizes defect passivation by interacting with uncoordinated Pb^(2+) and Sn^(2+) in perovskite films. As a result, the quality of the perovskite films has been significantly improved, accompanied by reduced defects of bottom interface and optimized energy level structure of device, leading to an efficiency increase and a less nonradiative voltage loss of 0.102 V(for a bandgap of ~1.26 eV). Consequently, the optimized PSC delivers an unprecedented efficiency over 21% with high open-circuit voltage and enhanced stability, outperforming the control device. This work demonstrates a cost-effective approach to develop simplified structure high efficiency HTL-free Sn-Pb PSC.

Recently, development of high technology has been required for the formation of thin uniform film in manufacturing processes of semiconductor as the semiconductor instruments become more sophisticated. Spin coating is usually used for spreading photoresist on a wafer surface. However, since rotating speed of the disk is very high in spin coating, the dropped photoresist scarers outward and reattaches on the film surface. A catch cup is set up outside the wafer in spin coating, and scattered photoresist mist is removed from the wafer edge by the exhaust flow generated at the gap between the wafer edge and the catch cup. In the dry process of a spin coating, it is a serious concern that the film thickness increases near the wafer edge in the case of low rotating speed. The purpose of this study is to make clear the effect of the catch cup geometry on the 3D boundary layer flow over the wafer surface and the drying rate of liquid film.

Background: Male involvement in reproductive health care has been shown to have positive outcomes on the maternal and newborn’s health as they provide resources and make crucial decisions. However, male involvement in reproductive/maternal health care in Uganda is still low. The objective of this study was to explore community perspectives on benefits and barriers to men’s involvement in maternity care in southwestern Uganda. Methods: The study was a cross-sectional, exploratory study, in Ibanda district, southwestern Uganda Data collection was collected in May 2020, using qualitative methods, narrative interviews and analyzed using a content-based approach. The sampling was done purposively and 18 narrative interviews were conducted. Results: Eighteen (18) narrative interviews were conducted at households of the participants. The identified benefits of male’s involvement in reproductive care services included family wellbeing and health, health care services utilization, health care worker motivation and community improvement and development. The barriers that emerged included individual and behavioral factors like ignorance/knowledge, responsibility, excessive alcohol consumption, laziness and lack of money. Family and extended family factors included trust and cooperation by the couple, fidelity issues, domestic violence and family perceptions. The environment, cultural and gender factors like misperceptions of male involvement, the cultural beliefs about the role of men in reproductive issues and the gender norms. The health care services factors included timing of the services the attitude of the health workers and the availability and access to the health services. Conclusions: The benefits of male involvement in maternal health care include family wellbeing and health, health care services utilization, health worker motivation and community improvement and prosperity. 2-ketoisovalerate ferredoxin oxidoreductase (VOR) is a key enzyme in hyperthermophiles catalyzing the coenzyme A-dependent oxidative decarboxylation of aliphatic amino acid-derived 2-keto acids. The enzyme purified under anaerobic conditions from a hyperthermophilic archaeon, Thermococcus profundus, is a hetero-octamer (αβγδ)2 consisting of four different subunits, α = 45 kDa, β = 31 kDa, γ = 22 kDa and δ = 13 kDa, respectively, and it has three [4Fe-4S] clusters per αβγδ-protomer, similar to other ferredoxin oxidoreductases. In the present study, the native enzyme was purified from this strain and crystallized to give rod-like crystals that were suitable for X-ray diffraction experiments. The crystals belonged to space group P41212, with unit-cell parameters a = b = 136.20 ?, c = 221.07 ?. Diffraction images were processed to a resolution of 3.0 ?. The data collected so far indicate the approximate molecular boundaries and a partial main-chain trace of the enzyme.
