Influence of cerium ions on structure-dependent magnetic properties of Ba-Sr m-type hexaferrite nanocrystals

The present study is a systematic effort to investigate the structure-sensitive magnetic parameters of Ce^(3+) substituted Ba-Sr hexaferrite nanocrystals chemically formulated as Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Ce_(x)Fe_(12-x)O_(19) where x=0.0-0.2 with Δx=*** hexaferrite powders were prepared using the sol-gel self-ignition route and structurally characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared *** creation of the m-type hexaferrite phase within the synthesized samples was revealed from the Rietveld refinement of the X-ray *** occurrence of a secondary phase of CeO_(2) was revealed within the hexaferrites for the substitution,x> *** refined X-ray diffraction data were utilized to compute the lattice parameters,X-ray density,and lattice parameter *** crystal structure plotted from the refined XRD data reveals the occupancy of the ions at different lattice *** XPS data of the hexaferrite were analyzed to confirm the oxidation states of the constituent *** nanocrystalline nature of the hexaferrites was revealed from the crystallite sizes calculated using Scherer's *** analysis of FTIR spectra confirms that only a fraction of Ce^(3+)accommodated in the lattice and the remaining Ce content reside in the form of the CeO_(2) *** morphology of the hexaferrites was analyzed from the FESEm profiles of the ferrite *** magnetic behavior study was performed by analyzing the Curie temperature,hysteresis loops,and hyperfine interactions by means of susceptibility,V.S.m,and mossbauer spectroscopy,*** hexaferrites with increasing coercivity,decreasing saturation magnetization,and decreasing Curie temperature are reported in the *** substituted Ce^(3+)ions inhibit the grain growth and create lattice imperfections giving rise to hexaferrites with tuned magnetic parameters suitable for different applications.

Access Control mechanism for Blog Posts with Fine- Grained Ability Using Simple Operations

Access control enables the owners to assign different users different permissions to see different views. The current blog system does not support fine-grained authorization. That is, the bloggers disallow to just assign partial contents of the blog posts （i.e., a paragraph or several paragraphs） to readers. The management cost is no doubt to be significantly increased while handling the authorizations on the huge amount of blog articles. In this paper, we propose a scheme for supporting a fine-grained access control mechanism on blog articles. The advantage is that bloggers are able to authorize partial contents of blog posts to different users or groups of users.

Handheld 3D Scanner for Small Objects Using Kinect

This paper presents a handheld 3D vision-based scanner for small objects by using Kinect. It is different from the previous color-glove-based approaches which require segmenting the target object. First, we eliminate the noises and the outliers caused by holding hands. Second, we apply Kinect-fusion algorithm and truncated signed distance function （TSDF） to represent 3D surfaces. Third, we propose a modified integration strategy to eliminate the hand effect. Fourth, we take advantage of the parallel computation of GPUs for real-time operation. The major contributions of this paper are （1） the registration precision is improved, （2） the oflline amendment and loop closure operation are not required, and （3） concave 3D object reconstruction is feasible.

Human Action Recognition Based on Dense Trajectories Analysis and Random Forest

This paper presents a human action recognition method. It analyzes the spatio-temporal grids along the dense trajectories and generates the histogram of oriented gradients （HOG） and histogram of optical flow （HOF） to describe the appearance and motion of the human object. Then, HOG combined with HOF is converted to bag-of-words （BoWs） by the vocabulary tree. Finally, it applies random forest to recognize the type of human action. In the experiments, KTH database and URADL database are tested for the performance evaluation. Comparing with the other approaches, we show that our approach has a better performance for the action videos with high inter-class and low inter-class variabilities.

Real-Time Human Body motion Capturing System

This paper proposes a human body motion capturing system using the depth images. It consists of three processes to estimate the human pose parameters. First, we develop a pixel-based body part classifier to segment the human silhouette into different body part sub-regions and extract the primary joints. Second, we convert the distribution of the joints to the feature vector and apply the regression forest to estimate human pose parameters. Third, we apply the temporal constraints mechanism to find the best human pose parameter with the minimum estimation error. In experiments, we show that our system can operate in real-time with sufficient accuracy.

Fixed point theory is one of the most important subjects in the setting of metric spaces since fixed point theorems can be used to determine the existence and the uniqueness of solutions of such mathematical *** is known that many problems in applied sciences and engineering can be formulated as functional *** equations can be transferred to fixed point theorems in an easy ***,we use the fixed point theory to prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions of such integral and differential *** X be a non-empty set.A fixed point for a self-mapping T on X is a point𝑒𝑒∈𝑋𝑋that satisfying T e=*** of the most challenging problems in mathematics is to construct some iterations to faster the calculation or approximation of the fixed point of such *** mathematicians constructed and generated some new iteration schemes to calculate or approximate the fixed point of such problems such as mann et al.[mann(1953);Ishikawa(1974);Sintunavarat and Pitea(2016);Berinde(2004b);Agarwal,O’Regan and Sahu(2007)].The main purpose of the present paper is to introduce and construct a new iteration scheme to calculate or approximate the fixed point within a fewer number of steps as much as we *** prove that our iteration scheme is faster than the iteration schemes given by Sintunavarat et al.[Sintunavarat and Pitea(2016);Agarwal,O’Regan and Sahu(2007);mann(1953);Ishikawa(1974)].We give some numerical examples by using mATLAB to compare the efficiency and effectiveness of our iterations scheme with the efficiency of mann et al.[mann(1953);Ishikawa(1974);Sintunavarat and Pitea(2016);Abbas and Nazir(2014);Agarwal,O’Regan and Sahu(2007)]***,we introduce a problem raised from Newton’s law of cooling as an application of our new iteration ***,we support our application with a numerical example and figures to illustrate the validity of our iterative scheme.

One of the most attractive subjects in applied sciences is to obtain exact or approximate solutions for different types of linear and nonlinear *** of ordinary differential equations like systems of second-order boundary value problems(BVPs),Brusselator system and stiff system are significant in science and *** of the most challenge problems in applied science is to construct methods to approximate solutions of such systems of differential equations which pose great challenges for numerical *** polynomials method with residual correction procedure is used to treat those *** aim of this paper is to present a technique to approximate solutions of such differential equations in optimal *** it,we introduce a method called residual correction procedure,to correct some previous approximate solutions for such *** study the error analysis of our given *** first introduce a new result to approximate the absolute solution by using the residual correction ***,we introduce a new result to get appropriate bound for the absolute *** collocation method is used and the collocation points can be found by applying Chebyshev *** techniques are explained briefly with illustrative examples to demonstrate the applicability,efficiency and accuracy of the *** using a small number of Bernstein polynomials and correction procedure we achieve some significant *** present some examples to show the efficiency of our method by comparing the solution of such problems obtained by our method with the solution obtained by Runge-Kutta method,continuous genetic algorithm,rational homotopy perturbation method and adomian decomposition method.

An efficient three-party password-based key agreement protocol using extended chaotic maps

Three-party password-based key agreement protocols allow two users to authenticate each other via a public channel and establish a session key with the aid of a trusted server. Recently, Farash et al. [Farash m S, Attari m A 2014 ＂An efficient and provably secure three-party password-based authenticated key exchange protocol based on Chebyshev chaotic maps＂, Nonlinear Dynamics 77（7）： 399-411] proposed a three-party key agreement protocol by using the extended chaotic maps. They claimed that their protocol could achieve strong security. In the present paper, we analyze Farash et al.＇s protocol and point out that this protocol is vulnerable to off-line password guessing attack and suffers communication burden. To handle the issue, we propose an efficient three-party password-based key agreement protocol using extended chaotic maps, which uses neither symmetric cryptosystems nor the server＇s public key. Compared with the relevant schemes, our protocol provides better performance in terms of computation and communication. Therefore, it is suitable for practical applications.
