Arsenic-vanadium polyoxometalates（POMs） represent a family of tremendous potential catalysts owing to their peculiar physical and chemical *** in CO2conversion,using POMs to catalyze the conversion of CO2and epoxide into chemical intermediates is the research ***,A new family number of arsenic-vanadium POMs,[N（CH3）4]4[As8V12O38（H2O）]·2H2O({As8V12O38}),was reported and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,*** from other allotropicity,{As8V12O38}shows a different structure pattern with an I-43d *** obtained {As8V12O38} was employed as a catalyst for the *** initial catalytic reaction confirmed that {As8V12O38} can catalyze the formation of epoxy carbonate by using 1.01 kPa CO2and epoxide at 70℃.Furtherly,when added amine in the catalytic system,oxazolidinone could be obtained by high yields,which provides an efficient way to convert CO2into profitable ***,a possible catalytic reaction mechanism was proposed by using different characterization analyses.{As8V12O38} first catalyzes the epoxide and CO2to form an epoxy carbonate and then catalyzes epoxy carbonate and benzylamine into oxazolidinone.

The role of copper element has been an increasingly relevant topic in recent years in the fields of human and animal health, for both the study of new drugs and innovative food and feed supplements. This metal plays an important role in the central nervous system, where it is associated with glutamatergic signaling, and it is widely involved in inflammatory processes. Thus, diseases involving copper(Ⅱ) dyshomeostasis often have neurological symptoms, as exemplified by Alzheimer's and other diseases(such as Parkinson's and Wilson's diseases). Moreover, imbalanced copper ion concentrations have also been associated with diabetes and certain types of cancer, including glioma. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive overview of recent results that show the importance of these metal ions in several pathologies, mainly Alzheimer's disease, through the lens of the development and use of copper chelators as research compounds and potential therapeutics if included in multi-target hybrid drugs. Seeing how copper homeostasis is important for the well-being of animals as well as humans, we shortly describe the state of the art regarding the effects of copper and its chelators in agriculture, livestock rearing, and aquaculture, as ingredients for the formulation of feed supplements as well as to prevent the effects of pollution on animal productions.

Flavonoid-based nanomaterials have extensive potential in antimicrobial research because of their non-toxicity,large-scale producibility,and chemical *** efficient combination of flavonoids and rare earth metals can have excellent antimicrobial properties owing to their robust medicinal and physicochemical *** this study,we synthesized copper oxide(CuO)nanoparticles(NPs)using a reflux reaction and repeated doping with the rare earth element lanthanum to prepare La-CuO ***,these La-CuO NPs were functionalized with the flavonoid curcumin,and the modified NPs were termed Cu-La-CuO *** NPs were chemically characterized via microscopic and spectroscopic techniques,including transmission electron microscopy(TEM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)adsorption,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)spectroscopy,and powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)*** SEM-EDX analysis reveals the elements doped into the native CuO *** TEM and XRD characterization results show,in detail,the distinct morphology and phase composition of the prepared CuO,La-CuO,and Cu-La-CuO *** antimicrobial activity of the Cu-La-CuO NPs was investigated on bacteria,such as Escherichia coli(***)and Bacillus subtilis(***),and fungi,including Aspergillus niger(A niger).The Cu-La-CuO NPs delivers excellent antimicrobial effects due to the incorporation of lanthanum and curcumin into the CuO *** Cu-La-CuO NPs show excellent antimicrobial potentials with an adequate zone of inhibition values around 2.2 and 2.9 mm in *** and ***,*** and dead analysis studies suggest the antimicrobial effects of lanthanum and curcumin moieties over native CuO *** obtained results are significant in developing of rare earth metal-based flavo no id-conjugated nanocomposites against typical microbes.

This paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. The strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. The curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. Subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. The accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANSYS, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate beneficial effects of manual acupuncture on common cold periods and its symptoms depended on the difference onset time of common cold, within 36 h or over than that. To prove effects of manual acupuncture on common cold, a retrospective chart review was ***: Chart data for patients with commoncold who were treated with only manual acupuncture with fulfilling Jackson scales and satisfaction at the end of each treatment were collected via multi-centers of Oriental hospitals,Oriental medicine clinics and covalent hospital in South korea. Totally 187 patients were divided into two groups, Group Ⅰ(115 patients, within 36 h)and Group Ⅱ(72 patients, onset time of cold over than 36 h). Finally 120 patients were observed until entire resolution of cold ***: GroupⅠ showed significant decreases themediandurationsofcompletelyrecovery(3 days;95% CI 3.0-4.0) as compared with Group Ⅱ(6 days;95% CI 4.0-7.0, P ked for reduction rate of common cold symptoms by 50% after initial treatment,decreased cold symptoms, and reduced cold ***: Manual acupuncture beneficially affected common cold and its *** it is more susceptibility on the early time of onset cold.

Increasing environmental awareness and stringent environmental regulations have motivated many companies to incorporate ecodesign into product development. To assist companies to address the challenge, this research presents a design for environment （DfE） methodology to evaluate and improve derivative consumer electronic product development using a back-propagation neural network （BPNN） model and a technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution （TOPSIS） method. Based on use of a BPNN, the life cycle assessment （LCA） models are developed to estimate quantities of hazardous chemical substances and energy consumption for a derivative consumer electronic product throughout the product life cycle. A performance evaluation and improvement model for DfE is then devised based on the TOPSIS method to analyze the ecodesign performance and provide concrete improvement strategies. With the aforementioned analysis of environmental performance, an enterprise can profoundly understand and significantly enhance the relative DfE performance of a new product compared to the similar competitive products. Finally, we apply an optical mouse development project as a case to elaborate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. These analytical results can let us understand the DfE performance ranking and acquire the maximum reduced quantity of each DfE criterion for each module of a new product. Meanwhile, to enhance the green competitiveness of the new product, we recommend that the engineers should decrease the area of the circuit board of the new product. In addition, the material of the USB cable for the new product should be switched from the PVC material to the PE material.
