Numerical Study on Comparison of Negative and Positive Surface Discharge in c-C_(4)F_(8)/CF_(3)I/CO_(2) Gas Mixture

The dynamics of negative surface discharges in c-C_(4)F_(8)/CF_(3)I/CO_(2) gas mixture is investigated here with a 2D fuid *** distributions of ion concentration,electric field strength and photon flux during the propagation of the streamer are obtained by solving the drift-diffusion equations of particles and Poisson's equation,and the photon flux variation function during the propagation is also *** is found that the streamer branches occur when the streamer transitions from the upper surface of the insulator to the side surface,and then when the streamer approaches the plane electrode,the photon flux will increase *** this basis,the positive and negative surface discharge models are compared in terms of streamer characteristics,particle characteristics and streamer *** is found that the streamer has a higher electron concentration and electric field in the positive *** streamer develops“floating”in the positive surface discharge,while it is close to the surface of the insulator in the negative *** addition,the negative streamer branch has a wider width and develops further.

Flexible pressure sensors are lightweight and highly sensitive,making them suitable for use in small portable devices to achieve precise measurements of tiny *** article introduces a low-cost and easy-fabrication strategy for piezoresistive flexible pressure *** embedding silver nanowires into a polydimethylsiloxane layer with micro-pyramids on its surface,a flexible pressure sensor is created that can detect low pressure (17.3 Pa) with fast response (<20 ms) and high sensitivity (69.6 mA kPa-1).Furthermore,the pressure sensor exhibits a sensitive and stable response to a small amount of water flowing on its *** this basis,the flexible pressure sensor is innovatively combined with a micro-rotor to fabricate a novel urinary flow-rate meter (uroflowmeter),and results from a simulated human urination experiment show that the uroflowmeter accurately captured all the essential shape characteristics that were present in the pump-simulated urination *** ahead,this research provides a new reference for using flexible pressure sensors in urinary flow-rate monitoring.

Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) play a vital role in meeting the growing demand for higher data rates and reliability in wireless systems. This study focuses on analyzing the performance of RIS systems to gain a deeper understanding of their *** paper presents a mathematical analysis of the RIS system,deriving closed-form formulae that express its characteristics including signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)distribution,ergodic and effective capacity,outage,and error probability. The obtained formulae are newly derived and unconditionally valid solutions. Numerical results demonstrate a close agreement between the derived formulae and MonteCarlo simulation outcomes.

Recently, a reference derived some new higher-order output tracking properties for direct model reference adaptive control(MRAC) of linear time-invariant(LTI) systems: limt→∞ e~((i))(t) = 0, i = 1,..., n~*-1, where n~* and e~((i))(t) denote the relative degree of the system and the i-th derivative of the output tracking error, respectively. However, a naturally arising question involves whether indirect adaptive control(including indirect MRAC and indirect adaptive pole placement control) of LTI systems still has higher-order tracking properties. Such properties have not been reported in the literature. Therefore, this paper provides an affirmative answer to this question. Such higher-order tracking properties are new discoveries since they hold without any additional design conditions and, in particular, without the persistent excitation condition. Given the higher-order properties, a new adaptive control system is developed with stronger tracking features.(1) It can track a reference signal with any order derivatives being unknown.(2) It has higher-order exponential or practical output tracking properties.(3) Finally, it is different from the usual MRAC system, whose reference signal’s derivatives up to the n~* order are assumed to be known. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to verify the theoretical results obtained in this paper.

The field of artificial intelligence and neural computing has been rapidly expanding due to the imple-mentation of resistive random-access memory(RRAM)based artificial ***,the low flexibility of conventional RRAM materials hinders their ability to mimic synaptic behavior *** overcome such limitation,organic-2D composites with high mechanical properties are proposed as the active layer of ***,we enhance the reliability of the device by ZrO_(2)insertion layer,resulting in stable synaptic *** Ag/PVA:h-BN/ZrO_(2)/ITO devices show stable bipolar resistive switching behavior with an ON/OFF ratio of over 5×10^(2),a~2400 cycles endurance and a long retention time(>6×10^(3)s),which are essential for the development of high-performance *** also study the possible synaptic mechanism and dynamic plasticity of the memory device,observing the transition from short-term potentiation(STP)to long-term potentiation(LTP)under the effect of continuous voltage ***,the device exhibits both long-term depression(LTD)and paired-pulse facili-tation(PPF)properties,which have significant implications for the design of organic-2D composite material RRAMs that aim to mimic biological synapses,representing promising avenues for the devel-opment of advanced neuromorphic computing systems.

The electron-phonon(el-ph)and phonon-phonon interactions play a key role in determining electronic and thermal transport properties,respectively,in promising two-dimensional(2D)semiconductor *** this study,we investigated el-ph interactions using Wannier-Fourier interpolation method and renormalized phonon scattering considering finite-temperature effects in Bi_(2)TeSe_(2)*** re-sults show that the optical phonon modes dominate the carrier scattering,where level repulsion induced by crystal field splitting and spin-orbit coupling(SOC)effect effectively suppresses intervalley scattering,leading to high hole ***,the strong anharmonicity in Bi_(2)TeSe_(2)monolayer results in the temperature-dependent softening of its optical phonons,along with a corresponding variation in interatomic force constants(IFCs).As a result,the lattice thermal conductivity is remarkably low and exhibits weak temperature ***,the predicted dimensionless thermoelectric figure of merit exceeds unity in the range of 200-800 K,indicating the potential of Bi_(2)TeSe_(2)monolayer for thermoelectric *** work provides new insights into the elimination of intervalley scat-tering by crystal field splitting and SOC effects,and paves the way for the evaluation of thermoelectric properties of materials with complex scattering mechanisms and strong anharmonicity.

To address fixed-time consensus problems of a class of leader-follower second-order nonlinear multi-agent systems with uncertain external disturbances,the event-triggered fixed-time consensus protocol is ***,the virtual velocity is designed based on the backstepping control method to achieve the system consensus and the bound on convergence time only depending on the system ***,an event-triggered mechanism is presented to solve the problem of frequent communication between agents,and triggered condition based on state information is given for each *** is available to save communication resources,and the Zeno behaviors are ***,the delay and switching topologies of the system are also ***,the system stabilization is analyzed by Lyapunov stability ***,simulation results demonstrate the validity of the presented method.

Fault Estimation for a Class of Markov Jump Piecewise-Affine Systems: Current Feedback Based Iterative Learning Approach

In this paper, the issues of stochastic stability analysis and fault estimation are investigated for a class of continuoustime Markov jump piecewise-affine(PWA) systems against actuator and sensor faults. Firstly, a novel mode-dependent PWA iterative learning observer with current feedback is designed to estimate the system states and faults, simultaneously, which contains both the previous iteration information and the current feedback mechanism. The auxiliary feedback channel optimizes the response speed of the observer, therefore the estimation error would converge to zero rapidly. Then, sufficient conditions for stochastic stability with guaranteed performance are demonstrated for the estimation error system, and the equivalence relations between the system information and the estimated information can be established via iterative accumulating ***, two illustrative examples containing a class of tunnel diode circuit systems are presented to fully demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed iterative learning observer with current feedback.

Adversarial implementations of cryptographic primitives called kleptographic attacks cause the leakage of secret information. Subliminal channel attacks are one of the kleptographic attacks. In such attacks, backdoors are embedded in implementations of randomized algorithms to elaborately control randomness generation, such that the secrets will be leaked from biased outputs. To thwart subliminal channel attacks, double-splitting is a feasible solution, which splits the randomness generator of a randomized algorithm into two independent generators. In this paper, we instantiate double-splitting to propose a secure randomness generation algorithm dubbed SRG using two physically independent generators: ordinary and public randomness generators. Based on public blockchains, we construct the public randomness generator,which can be verified publicly. Hashes of a sufficient number of consecutive blocks that are newly confirmed on a blockchain are used to produce public randomness. In SRG, outputs from the two generators are taken as inputs of an immunization function. SRG accomplishes immunization against subliminal channel ***, we discuss the application strategies of SRG for symmetric and public-key encryption.
