Introduction:Traditional methods for determining radiation dose in nuclear medicine include the Monte Carlo method,the discrete ordinate method,and the point kernel integration *** study presents a new mathematical model for predicting the radiation dose rate in the vicinity of nuclear medicine ***:A new algorithm was created by combining the physical model of“cylinder superposition”of the human body with integral analysis to assess the radiation dose rate in the vicinity of nuclear medicine ***:The model accurately predicted radiation dose rates within distances of 0.1–3.0 m,with a deviation of less than 11%compared to observed *** model demonstrated greater accuracy at shorter distances from the radiation source,with a deviation of only 1.55%from observed values at 0.1 ***:The model proposed in this study effectively represents the spatial and temporal distribution of the radiation field around nuclear medicine patients and demonstrates good agreement with actual *** model has the potential to serve as a radiation dose rate alert system in hospital environments.

Background Culex pipiens pallens andCulex pipiens quinquefasciatus are the dominant species ofCulex mosquitoes in China and important disease vectors. Long-term use of insecticides can cause mutations in the voltage-gated sodium channel (vgsc) gene of mosquitoes, but little is known about the current status and evolutionary origins ofvgsc gene in different geographic populations. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the current status ofvgsc genes inCx. p. pallens andCx. p. quinquefasciatus in China and to investigate the evolutionary inheritance of neighboring downstream introns of thevgsc gene to determine the impact of insecticides on long-term *** Sampling was conducted from July to September 2021 in representative habitats of 22 provincial-level administrative divisions in China. Genomic DNA was extracted from 1308 mosquitoes, the IIS6 fragment of thevgsc gene on the nerve cell membrane was amplified using polymerase chain reaction, and the sequence was used to evaluate allele frequency and knockdown resistance (kdr) frequency. MEGA 11 was used to construct neighborjoining (NJ) tree. PopART was used to build a TCS *** There were 6 alleles and 6 genotypes at the L1014 locus, which included the wild-type alleles TTA/L and CTA/L and the mutant alleles TTT/F, TTC/F, TCT/S and TCA/S. The geographic populations with akdr frequency less than 20.00% were mainly concentrated in the regions north of 38° N, and the geographic populations with akdr frequency greater than 80.00% were concentrated in the regions south of 30° *** frequency increased with decreasing latitude. And within the same latitude, the frequency ofkdr in large cities is relatively high. Mutations were correlated with the number of introns. The Relationship Between the Atmospheric Environment and Road Traffic Fatalities — Shandong Province, China, 2012–2021

Introduction:This study aims to analyze the potential impact of the meteorological environment and air pollutants on road traffic ***:Road traffic fatality data in Shandong Province from 2012 to 2021 were obtained from the Population Death Information Registration management *** and air pollutant data for the same period were collected from the *** Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Ecological Environment Monitoring Center of Shandong Province,***’s correlation and ridge regression were used to analyze the impact of the meteorological environment and air pollutants on road traffic ***:From 2012 to 2021,there were 163,863 road traffic fatality *** results of the ridge regression analysis showed that the daily average temperature was negatively correlated with total fatalities and passengers and positively correlated with pedestrians,nonmotorized drivers,and motorized *** daily minimum temperature was negatively correlated with total fatalities and positively correlated with motorized *** daily maximum temperature was positively correlated with both pedestrian and nonmotorized *** daily accumulated precipitation was negatively correlated with *** duration was positively correlated with both nonmotorized and motorized *** particulate matter(PM10)and nitrogen dioxide(NO2)were positively correlated with total fatalities,pedestrians,and nonmotorized *** dioxide(SO2)was positively correlated with total fatalities but negatively correlated with nonmotorized drivers,passengers,and motorized ***:Atmospheric factors associated with the occurrence of road traffic fatalities include air temperature,daily accumulated precipitation,sunshine duration,and air pollutants such as PM10,NO2,and SO2.

Introduction:A retrospective study based on sentinel surveillance was conducted in 10 provinciallevel administrative divisions(PLADs)in China to enhance the understanding of the epidemiological characteristics of human parainfluenza viruses(HPIVs).Methods:From January 2019 to June 2023,respiratory specimens were collected from individuals with acute respiratory infections(ARIs)and screened for four HPIVs serotypes and other common respiratory viruses using multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR).This study analyzed the association of HPIVs infections with seasonal patterns,geographical distribution,demographic profiles,clinical features,and co-infection ***:During the study period,a total of 12,866 ARIs were *** overall detection rate of HPIVs was 6.15%,varying from 5.04%in 2022 to 9.70%in *** median age of HPIVs-infected patients was 3 ***2 was more prevalent among individuals aged 5–17 years(42.57%),while HPIV4 was more common in those over 65 years(12.24%).HPIV3(54.16%)and HPIV1(27.18%)were the predominant serotypes,and their prevalence exhibited significant seasonal fluctuations postcoronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** peak of HPIV3 shifted three months later in 2020 compared to 2019 and returned to a summer peak *** peaks of HPIV1 were observed in 2021 following the peak of ***,coinfections were frequent in HPIVs cases(overall rate:22.12%),with human rhinovirus being the most common co-infecting ***:The prevalence of HPIVs in China was predominantly due to HPIV3 and HPIV1,and their seasonal patterns were altered by pandemic ***,continuous surveillance of HPIVs is essential.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic in 2019,the public health system has faced enormous *** the individuals who test positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)is a key step for interrupting chains of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and reducing COVID-19-associated *** the increasing of asymptomatic infections,it is difficult to track asymptomatic infections through epidemiological surveys and virus whole-genome ***,due to the cross-reactivity of neutralizing antibodies produced by multiple virus subtypes,neutralizing antibody detection cannot be used to determine whether an individual has a history of infection with a specific subtype of *** recruited 4 human leukocyte antigen A2(HLA-A2)infections,15 individuals who received three doses of inactivated vaccines,and 30 breakthrough infections after vaccination and discussed a case-tracking approach to detect epitope-specific CD8^(+)T cells in the peripheral blood of close contacts,including accurate HLA typing based on ribonucleic acid(RNA)-sequencing and flow cytometry data and the comparison and characterization of SARS-CoV-2 HLA-A2 and HLA-A24 epitope-specific CD8^(+)T *** individuals who received three doses of inactivated vaccine,we observed that the CD8^(+)T cell specificity for ancestral epitopes was significantly higher than for mutated epitopes,and the fold change of CD8^(+)T cells corresponding to mutated epitopes relative to ancestral epitopes was less than *** enzyme-linked immunospot(ELISpot)results further validate this *** study forms a“method for understanding the infection history of SARS-CoV-2 subtypes based on the proportion of epitope-specific CD8^(+)T cells in the peripheral blood of subjects”,covering up to 46%of the population,including HLA-A2+and HLA-A24+donors,providing a novel method for SARS-CoV-2 infected case tracing.
