Optoelectronic memristors have emerged as promising hardware platforms for highly efficient image perception owing to their low crosstalk, fast response, and low power consumption. However, the development of optoelectronic memristors with multi-wavelength recognition capabilities remains constrained by the limitations of their inherent bandgap. In this work, a multi-wavelength-modulated optoelectronic memristor that operates based on the localized surface plasmon resonance effect is developed using silver（Ag）-titanium dioxide（TiO2）/polymethyl methacrylate（PMMA） nanocomposites. The SET voltage can be gradually reduced by modulating the optical wavelength of visible irradiation. On this basis, reconfigurable IMP and False logic operations have been implemented in the memristive logic circuit. The neuromorphic visual preprocessing and recognition function for mixed-color patterns is demonstrated based on wavelength-dependent resistive switching behaviors. The proposed optoelectronic memristor enables high-density storage and in-memory computing.

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)disease affects multiple organs,including anomalies in liver *** this review we summarize the knowledge about liver injury found during severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARSCoV-2)infection with special attention paid to possible mechanisms of liver damage and abnormalities in liver function tests allowing for the evaluation of the severity of liver *** in liver function observed in COVID-19 disease are associated with the age and sex of patients,severity of liver injury,presence of comorbidity and *** method of antiviral treatment can also impact on liver function,which manifests as increasing values in liver function ***,analysis of variations in liver function tests is necessary in evaluating the progression of liver injury to severe disease.

With correlating with human perception, quality of experience(Qo E) is also an important measurement in evaluation of video quality in addition to quality of service(Qo S). A cross-layer scheme based on Lyapunov optimization framework for H.264/AVC video streaming over wireless Ad hoc networks is proposed, with increasing both Qo E and Qo S performances. Different from existing works, this scheme routes and schedules video packets according to the statuses of the frame buffers at the destination nodes to reduce buffer underflows and to increase video playout continuity. The waiting time of head-ofline packets of data queues are considered in routing and scheduling to reduce the average end-to-end delay of video sessions. Different types of packets are allocated with different priorities according to their generated rates under H.264/AVC. To reduce the computational complexity, a distributed media access control policy and a power control algorithm cooperating with the media access policy are proposed. Simulation results show that, compared with existing schemes, this scheme can improve both the Qo S and Qo E performances. The average peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR) of the received video streams is also increased.

Previous research in the area of using deep learning algorithms to forecast stock prices was focused on news headlines,company reports,and a mix of daily stock fundamentals,but few studies achieved excellent *** study uses a convolutional neural network(CNN)to predict stock prices by considering a great amount of data,consisting of financial news *** call our model N-CNN to distinguish it from a *** main concept is to narrow the diversity of specific stock prices as they are impacted by news headlines,then horizontally expand the news headline data to a higher level for increased *** model solves the problem that the number of news stories produced by a single stock does not meet the standard of previous *** addition,we then use the number of news headlines for every stock on the China stock exchange as input to predict the probability of the highest next day stock price *** the second half of this paper,we compare a traditional Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)model for daily technical indicators with an LSTM model compensated by the N-CNN *** show that the final result obtained by the compensation formula can further reduce the root-mean-square error of LSTM.

Laparoscopic resection vs laparoscopic radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of small hepatocellular carcinomas: A single-center analysis

AIMTo compare survival and recurrence after laparoscopic liver resection (LLR) and laparoscopic radiofrequency ablation (LRFA) for the treatment of small hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).METHODSBetween June 1, 2005 and November 30, 2010, 46 patients (62.26 ± 8.55 years old; female/male: 12/34) treated for small HCC were enrolled following strict criteria. Patients with better liver function and larger tumors were referred for LLR (n = 24), while those with poorer liver function and multiple tumors were referred for LRFA (n = 22), and they were then followed for similar durations (44.74 ± 21.3 mo for LLR vs 40.27 ± 30.8 mo for LRFA).RESULTSThe LLR and LRFA groups were homogeneous with regard to age, sex, etiology of liver cirrhosis, and AFP levels. The overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) probability was 0.354 and 0.260, respectively. A significantly higher OS was observed in the LLR group (LLR: 0.442; LRFA: 0.261; P = 0.048), whereas no statistical difference was found for DFS (LLR: 0.206; LRFA: 0.286; P = 0.205). In the LRFA group was treated a greater number of nodules (LLR: 1.41 ± 0.77; LRFA: 2.72 ± 1.54; P *** preliminary results confirm the superiority of hepatic resection on thermoablation in the treatment of small HCC in selected patients, when both approaches are made laparoscopically. LLR showed better results compared to LRFA in terms of OS. These data need to be confirmed by further studies on a larger number of patients.

In this paper, we introduce a novel class of coplanar conics, the pencil of which can doubly contact to calibrate camera and estimate pose. We first analyze the properties of con-axes and con-eccentricity ellipses, which consist of a naturM extending pattern of concentric circles. Then the general case that two ellipses have two repeated complex intersection points is presented. This degenerate configuration results in a one-parameter family of homographies which map the planar pattern to its image. Although it is unable to compute the complete homography, an indirect 3-degree polynomial or 5-degree polynomial constraint on intrinsic parameters from one image can also be used for camera calibration and pose estimation under the minimal conditions. Furthermore, this nonlinear problem can be treated as a polynomial optimization problem （POP） and the global optimization solution can be also obtained by using SparsePOP （a sparse semidefinite programming relaxation of POPs）, Finally, the experiments with simulated data and real images are shown to verify the correctness and robustness of the proposed technique.

Most existing flocking algorithms assume one single virtual leader and rely on information on both relative positions and relative velocities among neighboring *** this paper,the problem of controlling a flock of mobile autonomous agents to follow multiple virtual leaders is investigated by using only position information in the sense that agents with the same virtual leader asymptotically attain the same velocity and track the corresponding virtual leader based on only position measurements.A flocking algorithm is proposed under which every agent asymptotically attains its desired velocity,collision between agents can be avoided,and the final tight formation minimizes all agents' global potentials.A simulation example is presented to verify and illustrate the theoretical results.

In low-altitude air traffic management, non-cooperation targets are the greatest threat to security of low-flying aircraft. Among various aviation fatalities, flying bird is the main factor with the highest risk and directs economic losses amounted to nearly 10 billion US dollars each ***, Flying Bird Detection(FBD) has attracted considerable attention in low-altitude air traffic management. In this paper, we propose a skeleton based FBD method via describing bird motion information with a set of key poses. To overcome the variability of birds, the skeleton feature is selected as a relatively fixed and common characteristic for the pose appearance of flying bird. Based on the geometric topology among some key parts of bird body, a set of key poses can be described by some extracted skeleton features, which are used to represent the bird motion information. Aimed at robustly handling with the pose variations, multiple pose-specific classifiers are individually trained to learn the representative poses of the flying bird. At the detection stage,the flying bird skeleton features are combined with extracted key-pose sets to perform the flying bird classification task from each image. Afterwards, the key-frame pose-change set and the consistency of the classification results from sequent images are employed to validate the final detection *** on flying bird datasets demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.

AIM: To investigate the latent structure of an irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) symptom severity scale in a population of healthy ***: The Birmingham IBS symptom questionnaire which consists of three symptom specific scales(diarrhea,constipation,pain) was evaluated by meansof structural equation *** compared the original 3-factor solution to a general factor model and a bifactor solution in a large internet sample of college students(n = 875).Statistical comparisons of competing models were conducted by means of χ2 difference *** the evaluation of model fit,we examined the comparative fit index(CFI) and the Root Mean Square Error of Approximation(RMSEA).RESULTS: Results clearly favored a bifactor model of IBS symptom severity(CFI = 0.99,RMSEA = 0.05) which consisted of a strong general IBS somatization factor and three symptom specific factors(diarrhea,constipation,pain) based on the subscales of the Birmingham IBS symptom *** fit indices of the competing one factor model(CFI = 0.85,RMSEA = 0.17) and three factor model(CFI = 0.97,RMSEA = 0.08) were clearly inferior.χ2 difference tests showed that the differences between the models were indeed significant in favor of the bifactor model(P < 0.001).Correlations of the four latent factors with measures of pain sensitivity,somatoform dissociation,fatigue severity,and demographic variables support the validity of our bifactor model of IBS specific symptom ***: The findings suggest that IBS symptom severity might best be understood as a continuous and multidimensional construct which can be reliably and validly assessed with the B-IBS.

In this paper,we present an interactive static image composition approach,namely color retargeting,to flexibly represent time-varying color editing effect based on time-lapse video *** of performing precise image matting or blending techniques,our approach treats the color composition as a pixel-level resampling problem. In order to both satisfy the user's editing requirements and avoid visual artifacts,we construct a globally optimized interpolation field. This field defines from which input video frames the output pixels should be *** proposed resampling solution ensures that(i) the global color transition in the output image is as smooth as possible,(ii) the desired colors/objects specified by the user from different video frames are well preserved,and(iii) additional local color transition directions in the image space assigned by the user are also *** examples have been shown to demonstrate that our efficient solution enables the user to easily create time-varying color image composition results.
