Epitaxial Ni–Mn–Ga thin films have promising application potential in micro-electro-mechanical sensing and actuation systems. To date, large abrupt magnetization changes have been observed in some epitaxial Ni–Mn–Ga thin films, but their origin-either from magnetically induced martensite variant reorientation(MIR) or magnetic domain evolution-has been discussed controversially. In the present work, we investigated the evolutions of the magnetic domain and microstructure of a typical epitaxial Ni–Mn–Ga thin film through wide-field magneto-optical Kerr-microscopy. It is demonstrated that the abrupt magnetization changes in the hysteresis loops should be attributed to the magnetic domain evolution instead of the MIR.

免疫疗法通过化学或生物制剂来激活免疫系统,改变了癌症治疗的传统方式.但大多数免疫类药物在肿瘤组织内的渗透性差,容易产生副作用而使疗效不尽人意.电刺激疗法是一种新颖的癌症疗法,其可以不利用化学、生物制剂产生抑癌效果,但存在操作复杂和难以制备微米级小型电刺激装置的问题.本文通过将光学3D微打印技术与化学镀工艺结合,成功制备了柔性微针阵列集成的叉指电极装置.其能够生成交变电场触发肿瘤细胞内线粒体的钙离子过载和细胞内活性氧的产生,导致损伤相关分子模式释放,从而激活免疫应答并引起肿瘤免疫原性细胞死亡.实验结果显示,本文的通电微针装置具有良好的生物安全性和全身抑瘤作用,抑制了原发肿瘤和远处肿瘤的生长以及黑色素瘤肺转移.因此,本文将电刺激与免疫疗法相结合,为无药物癌症治疗提供了新方向并为癌症治疗领域提供了创新思路.

Background: Capecitabine and irinotecan combination therapy(XELIRI) has been examined at various dose levels to treat metastatic colorectal cancer(m CRC). Recently, in the Association of Medical Oncology of the German Cancer Society(AIO) 0604 trial, tri?weekly XELIRI plus bevacizumab, with reduced doses of irinotecan(200 mg/m^2 on day 1) and capecitabine(1600 mg/m^2 on days 1–14), repeated every 3 weeks, has shown favorable tolerability and eicacy which were comparable to those of capecitabine and oxaliplatin(XELOX) plus bevacizumab. The doses of capecit?abine and irinotecan in the AIO trial are considered optimal. In a phase I/II study, XELIRI plus bevacizumab(BIX) as second?line chemotherapy was well tolerated and had promising eicacy in Japanese ***: The Asian XELIRI Projec T(AXEPT) is an East Asian collaborative, open?labelled, randomized, phase Ⅲ clinical trial which was designed to demonstrate the non?inferiority of XELIRI with or without bevacizumab versus standard FOLFIRI(5?fluorouracil, leucovorin, and irinotecan combination) with or without bevacizumab as second?line chemo?therapy for patients with m CRC. Patients with 20 years of age or older, histologically conirmed m CRC, Eastern Coop?erative Oncology Group performance status 0–2, adequate organ function, and disease progression or intolerance of the irst?line regimen will be eligible. Patients will be randomized(1:1) to receive standard FOLFIRI with or with?out bevacizumab(5 mg/kg on day 1), repeated every 2 weeks(FOLIRI arm) or XELIRI with or without bevacizumab(7.5 mg/kg on day 1), repeated every 3 weeks(XELIRI arm). A total of 464 events were estimated as necessary to show non?inferiority with a power of 80% at a one?sided α of 0.025, requiring a target sample size of 600 patients. We report the laser-chirp controlled terahertz(THz) wave generation from two-color-laser-induced air *** experimental results reveal that the THz wave is affected by both the laser energy and chirp,leading to radiation minima that can be quantitatively reconstructed using the linear-dipole-array *** phase difference between the two colors,determined by the chirp and intensity of the laser,can account for the radiation ***,we observe an asynchronous variation in the generated THz spectrum,which suggests a THz frequency-dependent phase matching between the laser pulse and THz *** results highlight the importance of laser chirp during the THz wave generation and demonstrate the possibility of modulating the THz yields and spectrum through chirping the incident laser *** work can provide valuable insights into the mechanism of plasma-based THz wave generation and offer a unique means to control THz emissions.

Production of the Fusarium toxin deoxynivalenol(DON)is associated with oxidative stress and has been indicated to be part of an adaptive response to oxidative stress in the important wheat fungus Fusarium *** this study,we found that the antioxidant methyl gallate(MG)displays inhibitory effects against mycelial growth,conidial formation and germination,and DON biosynthesis in *** in a dose-dependent *** with 0.05%(w/v)MG resulted in an abnormal swollen conidial *** expression of the TRI genes involved in DON biosynthesis was significantly reduced,and the induction of Tri1-GFP green fluorescence signals in the spherical and crescent-shaped toxisomes was abolished in the MG-treated ***-Seq analysis of MG-treated *** showed that 0.5%(w/v)MG inhibited DON production by possibly altering membrane functions and oxidoreductase *** with the observations that MG treatment decreases catalase,POD and SOD activity in *** results of this study indicated that MG displays antifungal activity against DON production by modulating its oxidative *** together,the current study revealed the potential of MG in inhibiting mycotoxins in ***.

Growth hormone deficiency(GHD)has become a serious healthcare burden,and presents a huge impact on the physical and mental health of ***,we developed an actively separated microneedle patch(PAA/NaHCO_(3)^(-)Silk MN)based on silk protein for sustained release of recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH).Silk protein,as a friendly carrier material for proteins,could be constructed in mild full-water conditions and ensure the activity of *** manually pressing PAA/NaHCO_(3)^(-)Silk MN patch to skin for 1 min,active separation is achieved by absorbing the interstitial fluid(ISF)to trigger HCO_(3)^(-)in the active backing layer to produce carbon dioxide gas(CO_(2)).In rats,the MN patch could maintain the sustained release of rhGH for more than 7 days,and produce similar effects as daily subcutaneous(S.C.)injections of rhGH in promoting height and weight with well ***,the PAA/NaHCO_(3)^(-)Silk MN patch with the potential of painless self-administration,does not require cold chain transportation and storage possess great economic ***,the PAA/NaHCO_(3)^(-)Silk MN patch can significantly improve patient compliance and increase the availability of drugs,meet current unmet clinical needs,improve clinical treatment effects of GHD patients.

Autophagy is a conserved lysosomal degradation pathway where cellular components are dynamically degraded and re-processed to maintain physical ***,the physiological effect of autophagy appears to be *** the one hand,autophagy functions as a cytoprotective mechanism,protecting against multiple diseases,especially tumor,cardiovascular disorders,and neurodegenerative and infectious ***,autophagy may also play a detrimental role via pro-survival effects on cancer cells or cell-killing effects on normal body *** disorder onset and progression,the expression levels of autophagy-related regulators and proteins encoded by autophagy-related genes(ATGs)are abnormally regulated,giving rise to imbalanced autophagy ***,the detailed mechanisms and molecular events of this process are quite ***,including DNA methylation,histone modifications and miRNAs,and post-translational modifications,including ubiquitination,phosphorylation and acetylation,precisely manipulate gene expression and protein function,and are strongly correlated with the occurrence and development of multiple *** is substantial evidence that autophagy-relevant regulators and machineries are subjected to epigenetic and post-translational modulation,resulting in alterations in autophagy levels,which subsequently induces disease or affects the therapeutic effectiveness to *** this review,we focus on the regulatory mechanisms mediated by epigenetic and post-translational modifications in disease-related autophagy to unveil potential therapeutic *** addition,the effect of autophagy on the therapeutic effectiveness of epigenetic drugs or drugs targeting post-translational modification have also been discussed,providing insights into the combination with autophagy activators or inhibitors in the treatment of clinical diseases.
