The main aim of the present work is to investigate the flow and heat transport properties of non-Newtonian Casson-Williamson fluid through an upright microchannel along with entropy generation analysis,and explore the effects of convective boundary conditions,Couette-Poiseuille flow,and nonlinear *** movement of liquid is scrutinized with the Hall effect and exponential heat *** rheological characteristics of the Casson-Williamson fluid model are also *** considering the desirable similarity variables,the equations of motion are reduced to nonlinear ordinary differential *** Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg fourth-fifth order method along with the shooting method is adopted to solve these dimensionless *** detailed investigation is pictorially displayed to show the influence of effective parameters on the entropy generation and the Bejan *** of the major tasks of the exploration is to compare the Casson fluid and the Williamson *** results show that the rate of heat transfer in the Casson fluid is more remarkable than that in the Williamson fluid.

Aim at handling complicated maneuvers or other unpredicted emergencies, an estimation method of aerodynamic parameter via the Cubature Kalman Filter/Smoother（CKF/S） is proposed for maneuvering reentry vehicle（MaRV） tracking. The aerodynamic model is deduced in order to define the aerodynamic parameter at first. Secondly, the statistical properties of aerodynamic parameters are described by first-order Markov processes, the random processes are carefully chosen and tuned for filtering. Meanwhile,the state model is achieved by augmented these parameters into state vector. Then, the CKF/S is introduced to deal with estimation of aerodynamic parameters. Particularly, a fixed interval（FI） CKS, which carries on forward filtering firstly and then backward smoothing in an interval of fixed time series, is applied to this problem. A comparative performance assessment of three estimation algorithms is presented. The results show that the FI-CKS performs better than the CKF. Moreover, it can achieve a better real-time character compared with the CKS.

The fluid dynamics analysis on industrial,mixed-flow grain dryers with fixed bed using computational techniques is necessary to assist the design of such equipment contributing to cost reduction in the dryer projects and agricultural drying operations that involve the production of grains in the *** study presents a Computational Fluid Dynamic(CFD)solution for air flow analysis in an industrial *** air flow at the inlet and outlet of the dryer was investigated using the k-ωSST turbulence *** dryer region with soybean was considered as a laminar porous medium flow in the permanent and isothermal regime,having for the model a simplified geometry with the tower considered as a porous medium and the air inlet and outlet as a turbulent fluid *** flow was treated with a permanent and isothermal *** flow and pressures were used according to design *** validate the k-ωSST turbulence model,the velocity profile at the dryer inlet was obtained experimentally,which presented results with good agreement between the numerical and the experimental *** model obtained satisfactory results of the computational validation of the air flow in the dryer with good convergence requiring a minimum of computational effort,being suitable for the simulation of industrial-scale dryers,as to its air flow through a tower,operating with fixed bed soybean in the steady and isothermal regime.

Studies in recent years have shown that aquatic pollution by microplastics(MPs)can be considered to pose additional stress to amphibian ***,our knowledge of how MPs affect amphibians is very rudimentary,and even more limited is our understanding of their effects in combination with other emerging ***,we aimed to evaluate the possible toxicity of polyethylene MPs(PE-MPs)(alone or in combination with a mix of pollutants)on the health of Physalaemus cuvieri *** 30 days of exposure,multiple biomarkers were measured,including morphological,biometric,and developmental indices,behavioral parameters,mutagenicity,cytotoxicity,antioxidant and cholinesterase responses,as well as the uptake and accumulation of PE-MPs in *** on the results,there was no significant change in any of the parameters measured in tadpoles exposed to treatments,but induced stress was observed in tadpoles exposed to PE-MPs combined with themixture of pollutants,reflecting significant changes in physiological and biochemical *** principal component analysis(PCA)and integrated biomarker response(IBR)assessment,effects induced by pollutants in each test group were distinguished,confirming that the exposure of *** tadpoles to the PE-MPs in combination with a mix of emerging pollutants induces an enhanced stress response,although the uptake and accumulation of PE-MPs in these animalswas ***,our study provides newinsight into the danger to amphibians of MPs coexisting with other pollutants in aquatic environments.

This article explores four critical groups of systematic risk embedded in smart contract employment using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The four principal risk analysis groups include: 1) transparency in the light of corporate governance 2) IT security 3) contract management automation and 4) legality. The AHP assists both decision-makers and stakeholders alike in the evaluation process essential for identifying potential technological constraints posed within a permissioned blockchain environment using peer-to-peer format in the absence of digital currency. Based upon critical assessment, the AHP methodology enables pairwise comparisons among different features and consequently increases the knowledge regarding these attributes in light of the software’s risk assessment.

Multifunctional scaffolds with host defense peptides designed for regenerative endodontics are desirable nanobiotechnological tools for ***,different scaffolds were tested for use during the pulp revascularization process,including poly(vinyl alcohol)-PVA hydrogels or resins,collagen hydrogels and poly(vinyl alcohol)PVA/Chitosan(PVA/CS)*** on time to degradation(21 days),nanofibers were chosen to be incorporated with ciprofloxacin and IDR-1002(each at 50 mg/g).Nanofibers containing ciprofloxacin and IDR-1002 had anti-biofilm activity against Enterococcus faecalis,Staphylococcus aureus and a multispecies oral biofilm,besides anti-inflammatory *** in vivo subcutaneous tissue response to tooth fragments filled with nanofibers demonstrated a pulp-like tissue formation,when compared to empty teeth ***,we designed a strong antimicrobial,immunomodulatory and regenerative candidate for pulp revascularization and regeneration procedures.

Bond Behavior between Recycled Concrete Containing CDW and Different Types of Steel Bars

The operation of reinforced concrete structures is directly associated with the adhesion between the steel bar and the concrete,which allows the internal forces to be transferred to the reinforcement during the process of loading the structural *** modification of the concrete composition,with the introduction of recycled aggregate from construction and demolition waste(CDW),affects the steel-concrete interface and can modify the bonding stress,which is also influenced by the type and diameter of the bar *** this work,the influence of the recycled fine aggregate(RFA)and types of steel bar on the steel-concrete bond was experimentally evaluated using the pullout *** concrete and recycled concrete,with RFA replacement level of 25%,were *** types of steel rebars(i.e.,plain and deformed)with diameters of 10.0 and 16.0 mm were considered in this *** results indicate a reduction in the adhesion stress with the introduction of recycled aggregate,but this trend is influenced by the diameter of the bar *** use of ribbed bars modifies the stress bon-slip behavior,with an increase in the average bond strength,which is also observed with the reduction of the diameter of the bar.

Effect of acupuncture on heart rate variability during prolonged high-intensity training in soccer players

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of acupuncture therapy compared with sham acupuncture on heart rate variability(HRV) in 24 elite soccer players during 4-week, high-intensity training ***: The subjects were randomly divided into two groups: acupuncture group(AG) and sham acupuncture group(SG). In addition, AG had been implemented two times/week to stimulate Zusanli(ST 36), Hegu(LI 4), Shenshu(BL 23), and Chize(LU5). While SG, had been applied to utilize a special "placebo-needle" technique on the same ***'s more, the HRV parameters were calculated before and after interventions, ***: First, stress index(SI) had a significantly increased in SG(P = 0.031) compare pre-test with post-test, however, no significantly difference in AG(P = 0.102). Secondly, standard deviation of N-N intervals(SNDD) have enormously significantly high-er in AG when comparing baseline with post therapy(P = 0.001), while, declined in SG(P = 0.827).Meanwhile, the root mean square of successive differences(RMSSD) were significant differences in AG(P = 0.023). What's more, when the high-frequency(HF) were significantly higher in AG(P = 0.047) after receiving the acupuncture therapy, the lowe-frequency(LF) power were decreased but no significant in AG and SG. Comparing with pre-experiment, the ratio of LF/HF was lower in AG, but higher in SG. Furthermore, it was significant difference when compare the post-experiment parameters of AG with SG(P = 0.015). And HF parameters have significance(P = 0.005) compare between two groups during the ***: Based on evidence, acupuncture therapy on special acupoints could strengthen the parasympathetic nervous activity and modulates the balance between parasympathetic and sympathetic activity in soccer players while they engage in high-intensity training.
